It did not matter that she was still two years away from being able to drink legally, Thea had her connections. She could get whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, for a price of course. Money was not a problem for Thea. Her family were quite wealthy, not that she spent much time at home if she could avoid it. Instead, Thea preferred to be out wherever the work or parties might take her. Despite practically being born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Thea did not associate herself with that of a wealthy family.
No, growing up, Thea had quickly learnt her place in life. As far as schools and her family were concerned, she was not as academically gifted or motivated as Nethis, nor was she as charming or attractive as Evras. Compared to her two brothers, Thea was not as ambitious as Dysius or as captivating as Mihail. Compared to her brothers and sisters, it was easy to overlook Thea. She was quiet, apathetic and ‘difficult’ to say the least. She had everything she could ever ask for at the tips of her fingers, and yet she dressed and lived as if she would never know when she would eat her next meal.
It was simply just easier to live how she wished. She returned home often enough to keep her family from worrying about her. The benefit of having four siblings was that she could usually bargain with at least one of them at any given time to cover for her should her father ask for her. Thea spent more time out than not, and now with Summer break well under way, that was not about to change anytime soon. In fact, Summer looked like it would be rather busy and potentially profitable for Thea.
Sitting up, Thea pushed her hair back as she took note of her surroundings. She’d fallen asleep on the couch in Aaron’s—some guy she’d met the night before—basement. Her tongue felt dry and her head was pounding, but otherwise she felt mostly okay, which was a feat given the night she’d had. Careful not to wake any of the sleeping bodies strewn on various pieces of furniture or the floor, Thea crept to the stairs, then slowly climbed them.
The house was rather quiet, which suited Thea just fine. Thea brushed through the kitchen and grabbed herself a glass of water, before finding the bathroom. Ignoring the strong smell of piss, Thea moved to the sink and leaned against it, her icy gaze meeting her reflection in the broken mirror on the wall. Her hair was messy and her make-up had smudged, but she otherwise didn’t seem as out of it as she would have expected. She couldn’t remember much of the previous night, but that was such a common occurrence for Thea, that she did not think much of it.
After splashing some water on her face, Thea stepped back out of the bathroom. The rest of the house still seemed to be asleep. She could hear the sound of someone snoring a room or so away and figured it must have been Aaron, as she’d not seen him in the basement. The guy was immature and an overall wreck, but he at least had somewhere for everyone to crash.
Still dressed in her ripped fishnet stockings, black laced boots and a faded grey sleeveless top that pulled in slightly at her waist, before falling loosely to her thighs, Thea checked her bra for her money, phone and product. A long, thin silver chain hung low around her neck, dipping to just above her belly button. On each wrist, Thea wore an assortment of silver bangles that jangled slightly with each movement. Swiping a few cigarettes and a lighter from the front porch of Aaron’s place, Thea began her trek towards the main street. Even from Aaron’s ramshackle little place, she could faintly hear the thrum of a pounding bassline on the wind.
Only after she’d crossed onto the next street did Thea pull out her phone, which only had fourteen percent battery life left. It didn’t matter, she would charge it at Billy’s once she set her targets for the night ahead. At least she knew the time. It was nearly 1:30pm, which meant it would be almost two by the time she reached Billy’s bar. At least she knew he would be open.
As expected, Thea slipped into the dive bar casually and rounded the counter just before the clock struck 2pm. She was already heading out to the small room out the back when Billy noticed her.
’Well, hello to you too, Thea.’
Thea cast the man a sly smirk, but otherwise did not halt her movement. Reaching her destination—a plain wooden desk with a worn and slightly ripped swivel chair—Thea sat herself down, one leg crossed over the other, and began setting herself up. First, she plugged her phone into Billy’s charger, then went about pulling the wad of cash and small baggie of pills she had stashed in her bra. Throwing her goods onto the table, Thea took one of Aaron’s cigarettes and popped it between her lips, her gaze flicking up to find Billy once more as she lit it. With a sigh, Billy sat on the corner of the table and picked up the wad of cash, his fingers moving quickly to count the notes.
’Not bad. You have more here than you should, given you still have a few tabs left.’
Thea gave another smirk at that. “Stupid people pay extra.”
Billy gave a snort of amusement, 'well you’re not wrong there.’
As silence fell between them, Billy slipped the money into his pocket, then considered Thea thoughtfully, ’so, what’ll your poison be tonight?’
Thea gave a slow exhale, blowing smoke out the corner of her mouth as she pierced Billy with her gaze. He was so used to her now, that he barely seemed unnerved by her anymore. He’d certainly long ago stopped treating her like a child.
Thea knew exactly what she wanted; she’d been planning her time during the festival for a while. She wanted a small amount of the purest cocaine Billy could offer—that was for the more high end customers. Then, the majority of her stock was cocaine cut with aspirin or Benzocaine. Finally, Thea replenished her stock of ecstasy as well. The order left Thea with next to no money on her person, as well as a decent debt to Billy, though she had not yet failed to pay him back with interest. She would return in a day or two with all the money she owed him and more. If nothing else, Thea was good at selling drugs.
With the business side of things finished, Billy let Thea out back so that she could shower and refresh herself. She didn’t have a change of clothes, but it didn’t matter. She was at least able to redo her mascara, which made her icy blue eyes even more noticeable.
By the time Thea was ready to go, it was already 3:18pm. At least Billy’s bar was not far from the beachfront. In fact, Thea was already walking along the sand, headed straight for the throng of people below the stage before she’d even finished her cigarette. Although she hadn’t had anything to drink yet since waking up, Thea let herself sway to the music, giving the impression she was as carefree and relaxed as everyone else around her. No one liked a pushy dealer, so Thea would work as she normally did, by seeming inconsequential as she surveyed the crowd of people around her. When people wanted to buy, they were rather obvious in their body language. She would wait for an appropriate target, then keep them in sight, with the intent to only approach when they seemed the most likely to pay ‘whatever it took’ to get buzzed.

Ah, the off-season, so much freedom, so much money, what was a young, attractive athlete to do? In the case of Alex, he was going to spend the time in Miami, at the biggest festival held every year. This time he wasn’t some college athlete or a rookie, he was a bonafide star in his own right, and he was going to live up to it. The house he had rented was massive, and he had stocked it with all the booze one could imagine. The party hadn’t stopped since the plane landed, and it wouldn’t end until he reported for OTAs in a couple weeks.
This particular day, he had woken up at noon to see that his bed was empty, as was the rented house. The mess from the night before was still strewn all over the place. He sent a quick text to the cleaning service he had hired for the week, the place needed a lot of work before it got trashed agin that next night. He took a long, hot shower to help clear his head, then dressed in a pair of swimming trunks and a tank top. He was more than happy to flaunt his physique, and chances were that the shirt would not last long on his frame. He poured himself a drink, a rough mix of half vodka, half sour margarita mix, in a red solo cup and headed out to the beach. His cup was empty by the time he reached the concert only a couple hundred yards down the way. He made his way through the crowd, pushing towards the stage as he noticed a girl in a faded top and some torn fishnets vibing as she walked along. She was definitely attractive, and looked like the type that knew how to party. He moved closer as the band continued to play. “Hey!” He called trying to be heard over the music. “Are you looking for a good party?”

Bodies moved around and against Thea, though she showed no concern at all. With her head tilted back, eyes closed and lips parted, Thea let the music course through her very veins, dictating where and how she drifted. To be honest, the band playing was mediocre at best, but it didn’t matter. She could feel the bass rattling her bones, and the vocals buzzing under her skin. And to think that she hadn’t even taken anything yet. All in good time, though she could tell that the vibe was just right to have an enjoyable high.
’Hey!’
Well, if directed at her, that was quick. Then again, she donned an appearance that made her seem ‘easy’ and ‘down to fuck’ for a reason. Not that she often put out. Sex was simply a tool for her, not something she did for fun. Drugs were fun, sex was just an action. It probably didn’t help that most of the guys she’d ever slept with generally jackhammered away while sweating, grunting and yelping, until it was over. At least girls were a little more exciting. However, Thea would taunt the idea of sex if it meant making a good sale. Opening her eyes, Thea cast her icy blue gaze towards the rather attractive guy looking straight at her with blue eyes of his own.
’Are you looking for a good party?’
Oh, was he trying to offer her something? That was cute. He looked like a well fed, well toned athlete, one that likely had everything at his disposal, much like herself really. HIs attire showed off the lean and toned muscles of his arms and legs. Then there was that smile. He was a pretty man to be sure; no doubt he made many women melt with a single smirk. He didn’t look like the usual rival drug dealer Thea often dealt with at such events, but perhaps he had a persona he was presenting as well.
Maintaining a somewhat bored expression, Thea tilted her head to the side and gave a sly smirk, never taking her gaze off of him. Drifting a little closer towards him, Thea motioned for him to come closer. She was interested to see just how interested he was to party. If he was a rival, then it would be good to see what he was pushing and how likely she would need to be more specific with her clientele.
Once he was close enough, Thea smirked again, her eyes piercing into his as she reached into her bra and pulled out a tablet. She rather liked ecstasy; she enjoyed how she was able to truly feel the colours of the music, as well as the overwhelming textures that the world had to offer.
Holding out the pill long enough for him to see, Thea popped it on her tongue innocently, then tilted her head to the side again, shifting her body in a way that dared him to come get it for himself.

He had been right in his assessment, this one was definitely one to party with. She was coy, seemed used to getting what she wanted. Those piercing blue eyes of hers and that smirk were enough to turn most men to putty in her hands. Alex was not most men, though. It seemed both were used to getting what they wanted from the opposite sex, and the look in her eye said she knew it just as well as he did. The question became what was it she wanted. This was a game he was more than happy to play, with an opponent that wouldn’t swoon because of his looks and his smile. Perhaps tonight would be more fun than he had expected. He moved in closer as the girl motioned him forward, his warm gaze meeting her icy one. Both held smirks before she reached into her bra and pulled out a tablet. It being a festival, he assumed it was ecstasy, but he couldn’t be sure. The question now became did she sell or was she just partaking. That answer would have to wait, however, because she cocked her head sideways and invited him to take the pill for himself. Never one to deny an attractive woman what she wanted, Alex moved in and kissed her. It was a rather deep kiss, one he hoped gave the message that he could give her much more than this. His right hand moved to hold her just above the waist. His tongue took the tablet off of hers and after holding the kiss for another moment afterwards, he pulled away with a playful smirk of his own.
The pill now taken, he smiled warmly at the girl before he began to speak, staying close to her so he could be heard over the music. “You definitely know how to party, I’m trying to get people to keep the party going at my place after the show is over, what do you say? Can you keep the party going at a beach house? I’m Alex, by the way, what’s your name?” He was curious and hopeful as he spoke. Hopeful she wasn’t just playing him and would join his party, and curious to see what her name was. “I’m sure a woman as attractive as you are gets what she wants, when she wants it, right? What is it you want here? What are your plans?”

Thea could appreciate the boldness of the guy before her. There was no look of hesitation or trepidation as he understood her challenge. Either he was quite familiar with the drug—as to be expected of a rival dealer, bravely confident or foolishly trusting. An interesting observation, something she would keep in mind for later. As he leaned in, Thea maintained the challenging look in her gaze up until the moment his lips met hers. Only then did she close her eyes, smirking into the kiss as his tongue darted to meet hers, swiping the pill for himself.
Without resting her hands on him, Thea let the guy lead the kiss, aware of his hand above her waist. When he pulled away, Thea’s striking blue eyes snapped back open as a smirk to match his re-appeared. So, if he was a dealer, he wasn’t a very good one. It was much too early to be sampling product when there were still plenty of hours left in the day to sell. Recreation came after profits. Otherwise, a dealer would make an obvious ass of themselves trying to pitch their wares while rolling. So, he was a party boy then, that was good, no competition. Now he’d had a free sample and knew he could get more from her if he wanted it. If he was as keen to party as he let on, then there was a good chance Thea had her first potential customer already.
’You definitely know how to party, I’m trying to get people to keep the party going at my place after the show is over, what do you say? Can you keep the party going at a beach house? I’m Alex, by the way, what’s your name?’
Well that sounded quite profitable indeed. Or a potential rape and murder den. Hard to say. Alex did have a bit of a Ted Bundy vibe about him. However, what was life without a bit of a risk? If he was telling the truth, Thea could potentially have her uncontested pool of potential clients. If it was a ruse, then well she would deal with that later. The true chances of him being a murderer were pretty slim, and he would be rolling soon anyway, so she could just leave while he caressed the pool table or something. Whatever, it was worth it.
“Thea,” she said plainly, loud enough to be heard so long as he paid attention to hear it.
’I’m sure a woman as attractive as you are gets what she wants, when she wants it, right? What is it you want here? What are your plans?’
Hmm, flattery. A brilliant tool against those vain enough to care about their appearance. Still, Thea knew that most girls liked being complimented by attractive guys, so she gave a sly twitch of a smile in response. He was right about one thing, she was very used to getting her way.
“To wake up in the morning with a bra full of cash, unable to remember the night,” Thea answered, cocking her head to the side once more. COuld he offer that?

Well, now he at least knew her name. The conversation felt rather one sided, but she was attractive. That playful smirk was continually on her face, so Alex felt as though she must not have been too opposed to the conversation. She hadn’t pull away from his kiss, so there must have been some potential there. He held her smirk with his own. The game was most certainly afoot as a famous fictional detective was fond of saying.
“To wake up in the morning with a bra full of cash, unable to remember the night,”
Now he had something to work with, however little it was. He knew what she was after and how she planned to spend the night, that would be enough to start making progress. The question now became what did she sell, was it just drugs? “Are you sure you want to forget? I think the night could be quite memorable if you come join me. Surely you’ll have plenty of time to peddle E at the party, get all the cash you need, but I’d like to end the night without that bra on.” Alex threw caution to the wind and made his move. It was an early gamble, but better to fumble now than later. Bold decisions and giant risks had made him famous on the field, and he lived life the same way off the field. He thought things through better than most people knew, however. He didn’t take risks for the sake of taking the risks, each one was calculated. He had complete confidence in his abilities and his calculations, so if he thought he could make it happen, he went for it. The same was true here. Thea seemed interested in him whether for the drugs or because he was attractive so he decided to go all out and see how she would react. He hadn’t played the professional athlete card yet, but he hoped he wouldn’t have to, for now, though, it was time to wait and see what she said.

He certainly was a bold one, she’d give him that. At the same time, how often did that really work? Did most young women agree to go back to his mysterious party house so quickly? It didn’t bother Thea either way, so long as there would be others there. She needed to sell, then she could have all the time in the world to do as she pleased.
Cocking a single, arched brow, Thea’s smirk was mischievous and certainly not a rejection by any means. She would humour him. He was confident that she would end up in bed with him. An early mark to make considering the sun hadn’t even gone down. Did he not think he would find anyone else who he’d rather bed? Or did he plan on fucking as many women in the night as possible? Again, it didn’t bother her. He was not her possession and she couldn’t give two shits who he stuck on the end of his dick. Just so long as she had clientele to work. However, knowing what he wanted from her would make her evening rather fun. Would he be the type to beg for it? Would he try to guilt her? WOuld he get angry if she took too long to give in? She could see herself having a rather fun time indeed.
“How many others will be there?” Thea asked cooly, twirling a lock of hair around her finger seemingly absently as she locked her gaze on him intently. If it turned out that the party he promised was a bust, she’d just leave, though it would be a shame. Alex was confident, she liked playing with the confident ones.

“How many others will be there?”
The cocked brow, smirk, and the intent look in her eyes told him that she was certainly willing to play the game. He was curious to see what she wanted, how she would react to further advances. The way she twirled her hair, pretending to do it absentmindedly told him she was interested in playing him for whatever she could get. It was going to be a fun day for sure. “At the party? There were a couple hundred last night, probably about the same tonight. In bed? I think there were 3 last night. Depending on what you want there could be more or less tonight. I’m willing to put all of my focus on you, if you want it. I can promise a night like you’ve never had before, especially if you take all of my attention.” He said with another smirk. He had no idea what her previous lovers had been like, but he knew what he was capable of, what he could and would give her throughout the night. There were no doubts in his mind that she had never been with anyone who could come close to comparing to what he would offer.
“I’m going to invite the bands to the party, so it should be wild. That punk group coming up in a bit may clean your stock out on their own. We all know how punk rockers love to party. I’m sure you’ll get the cash, the buzz, and the pleasure you need, so long as you come with me for the night. What do you say Thea? Tempted by my offer?”

And people wondered why serial killers existed. Killers didn’t walk around with a neon sign that said ‘hey! I’m a murder!’, and they didn’t all look like shady motherfuckers. In fact, Thea was certain she’d read somewhere that many serial killers were somewhat attractive and charismatic. Why else would victims voluntarily go with them?
Thea wasn’t going to simply assume Alex was a serial killer, but his boldness and confidence suggested he was familiar with getting what he wanted. Did he truly have hundreds of people at his party the previous night, or was he simply trying to impress her? He seemed well presented, even if he was donning a more casual look. As for the amount of people in his bed, did many women go for that? Alex struck Thea as a guy who would be quick to call ‘no homo’ for stupid, menial and obviously platonic interactions with other guys. So if there were three in his bed last night, assumingly him included, it would have been two other women. For Thea, that was not a problem, but surprisingly, most girls were more interested in having another guy there, not another chick.
What a surprise!
Well, even if she was someone who would be influenced by the idea of sharing him with other people for the night, Thea was not particularly keen on getting Syphilis again. Personally, knowing that the guy was a confident player did nothing to make her feel flattered to have his attention, then again she didn’t feel much at all. She did truly wonder what reaction he hoped to achieve though.
“Lucky me,” Thea drawled, her smirk not faltering. Let him shoot his shot, she was game. If he ended up raping and killing her, well fuck it, at least she had a good run. Death didn’t scare her, of that she was confident. She knew it was supposed to, but the idea of eternal nothingness was not something that sounded awful to Thea. If anything, it seemed relaxing. If Heaven and Hell existed, there was no way she’d be stepping through those pearly gates, but in Hell, perhaps she would make a bonafide demon. Or maybe an eternity of excruciating torture would make her feel something. Who knew.
’I’m going to invite the bands to the party, so it should be wild. That punk group coming up in a bit may clean your stock out on their own. We all know how punk rockers love to party. I’m sure you’ll get the cash, the buzz, and the pleasure you need, so long as you come with me for the night. What do you say Thea? Tempted by my offer?’
Interesting, bands were good for business, so long as they had cash. Those living off the seat of their jeans were just a liability, one that Thea would avoid. However, the potential for an interesting or profitable night seemed likely, so she was willing to indulge him. Better than trying to push her wares out in the open.
“I might be,” Thea answered in the same tone as before.

’At the party? There were a couple hundred last night, probably about the same tonight. In bed? I think there were 3 last night. Depending on what you want there could be more or less tonight. I’m willing to put all of my focus on you, if you want it. I can promise a night like you’ve never had before, especially if you take all of my attention.’
“Lucky me,”
Alex could sense that perhaps she wasn't as interested in his prowess as He felt she should have been. Obviously she didn't know who he was, what he did, or what his reputation was. He didn't want to reveal himself to early, all the fun would be gone when people flocked to get his attention. It was nice to have to work for a change. How to gain her interest without letting the proverbial cat out of the proverbial bag? The question irked him greatly. "I'm sure you've heard all the words before from some guy who thinks he is hot stuff and then he lasts two pumps and you feel nothing, sound about right? While you may not be aware of it, I have a reputation to uphold. It would be bad for my public image if it got out that I failed to satisfy a woman. I can guarantee that you have never been with anyone like me. I'll even cut you a deal. If I fail to satisfy you, then I will match whatever you make from selling your drugs tonight. If that's not enough, then name your terms, but you should know I will ask for something if I win this little wager." His blue eyes matched her icy orbs with a playful look as he continued to hold a confident smirk on his face.
“I might be,”
It was difficult to get this girl to talk. She was tight lipped and had a sense of cunning about her that went deeper than just the normal drug dealer. He needed her to open up, to talk. It was so much easier to pass the time with someone who would converse. "Only might be? Perhaps I'll take my offer to your rival. Surely someone else is selling around her? I'm sure they would enjoy being the sole source of drugs at a party. But that would be rude, wouldn't it? Especially after you offered a sample. I'm curious, what do you do for fun Thea? Besides drugs and selling drugs. What is there in this world that you enjoy?"

By golly, for someone who had three in his bed the previous night, he sure was working hard to get into her pants. Perhaps she should feel flattered, or disturbed, but ultimately she was simply amused. It wasn’t a bad thing, Thea liked being amused. It was safer to be amused than bored.
Truly though, it was riveting to see him trying to find a way to crack her. He’d flirted shamelessly, he’d been honest and direct. Now he was assuming her past experiences and comparing himself as an understanding party. He wanted her to know she could trust that he was not like those other guys and that he could offer her everything and more than any other guy.
It was adorable really. He was trying so hard, it simply was just so cute. The attempt to throw in a wager was an interesting tactic though. The prospect of making double her earnings was admittedly quite tempting, for she was certain she would be able to win that wager. However she could just agree to his rules, that was no fun at all. She played by her own rules, whether her opponents realised it or not.
“To satisfy me, you need to impress me first. Do you think you can?” Thea challenged in a mockingly sweet voice as gave him a matching smile and a tilt of her head.
“I’ll set you challenges throughout the night. If you can complete them, then I’ll be impressed, and you can fuck me however which way you please,” Thea proposed, her icy gaze burning into him. “If you fail, then I want triple what I make, and a public declaration of defeat,” Thea added. The last part was mainly for him rather than herself. For someone so confident, she figured he would not like having to admit defeat for something he apparently had a reputation for. Still, those were her terms. High stakes made the game much more fun.
’Only might be? Perhaps I'll take my offer to your rival. Surely someone else is selling around here? I'm sure they would enjoy being the sole source of drugs at a party. But that would be rude, wouldn't it? Especially after you offered a sample.’
A solid attempt to evoke a sense of urgency in her. A private party promised security to push her wares and less competition. If she was the only one providing, then people would be willing to pay whatever it took to get their hit. Suggesting he take his business elsewhere was a clever move in truth, but Thea wasn’t so easily shaken. Instead she gave him a patronisingly amused flick of her brow and a sly smirk.
“Very rude,” Thea agreed, her posture rather relaxed still. She didn’t buy his bluff. Though she would hear what else he had to say before showing her next move.
’I'm curious, what do you do for fun Thea? Besides drugs and selling drugs. What is there in this world that you enjoy?’
“Dicks,” Thea drawled, her smirk not faltering. “Lots and lots of dicks. The more the better,” she added, before very slowly and deliberately running the tip of her tongue along her lips.

Impress you first, huh? I wonder if telling her would impress her. No, no, she doesn’t strike me as someone who knows sports, I’ll keep that card for a while longer. He smirked as she tilted her head, stepping closer before he spoke. “What does it take to Impress you? I’m sure I can handle whatever it is.”
“I’ll set you challenges throughout the night. If you can complete them, then I’ll be impressed, and you can fuck me however which way you please,” Thea proposed, her icy gaze burning into him. “If you fail, then I want triple what I make, and a public declaration of defeat,”
She answered his question with new rules for the wager. He worked over her words for a moment. It can’t be that hard to complete whatever these challenges are. I’ve certainly done harder things to get where I am. Just how public will this declaration need to be though? What if I counter? “I’ll do four times your earnings, no admission of defeat. However which way? You are brave, that or confident I can’t win. The question is which?” He smirked still as he spoke. The negotiations were in full swing, and what the final deal would be was anyone’s guess.
“Very rude”
Hmm, it doesn’t seem like she believes I’d do that. Is it because I’ve been hitting on her? She’s hot, but not enough that I couldn’t find better. Although they probably wouldn’t give as much amusement, besides winning that bet will make it all the sweeter. “Then let’s just hope that doesn’t need to happen, I’m sure your supplier would rather see your product moved.” He said matching her own relaxed posture.
“Dicks,” Thea drawled, her smirk not faltering. “Lots and lots of dicks. The more the better,”
Now she is just teasing me. If she enjoyed dick that much I wouldn’t be working so hard. We’d have slipped off somewhere else by now. I’ll play along though, see what happens. “Oh really? You like having them everywhere too? Which are your favorite ones? The big thick ones? I’m certain you’ll enjoy mine.” He matched her smirk with his own. I can’t deny, she does have me a bit worked up, I need to turn this on her. “If you like sick that much, why are you making me work so hard to give it to you?”

’What does it take to Impress you? I’m sure I can handle whatever it is.’
Thea gave a devious grin. This would be a fun game indeed. She wondered how brittle his confidence was and how far it could be pushed before it snapped. She wondered what was more important to him, maintaining his reputation or his dignity. Were they mutually exclusive, or did they go hand-in-hand? Thea was interested now in finding out.
When Thea proposed her new rules and wager, she waited as he thought them over. His answer would be telling, no matter what he decided.
’I’ll do four times your earnings, no admission of defeat. However which way? You are brave, that or confident I can’t win. The question is which?’
Interesting. He certainly had no shortage of money then if he was willing to quadruple whatever she earned. What was more interesting though, was that despite his eagerness and confidence, he was not so willing to bet on tainting his reputation. Curious, how strong was his reputation then? Or more so, how much of his bravado was all talk? Was he actually worried about losing? If that was the case, then why? Was he innately clever enough to know how much of a threat she was to him? Or was he not so certain of his abilities afterall? Perhaps he just didn’t like risks. Whatever the case, it was good to know.
She could counter him, prolonging the negotiations, however she got the impression that he would just keep insisting on having the final say on principle. She was not so proud, so she could allow him this small win now to bolster his confidence.
“Fine,” Thea agreed. “I guess we’ll see,” she added, her smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth slyly.
’Then let’s just hope that doesn’t need to happen, I’m sure your supplier would rather see your product moved.’
She could give credit where it was due, he did have a nice variety of techniques at his disposal to get what he wanted. Whether they were deliberate, or the product of a comfortable life, she was not sure. Either way, she could see how some would feel their chances to make earnings for the night threatened, despite having come to the festival without the expectation of meeting a rich dude with a private party. Thea had fully expected to work the crowds for the night. The party made her job easier, especially if he was willing to quadruple her earnings. She could either take a few days off, or continue to work the next few nights as planned and make an absolute killing.
Decisions for another time. For now, she needed to cement her game for the night. “I’m good at what I do,” Thea promised purposefully, her smirk deliberate. He could read that as he pleased.
’Oh really? You like having them everywhere too? Which are your favorite ones? The big thick ones? I’m certain you’ll enjoy mine.’
Too? Well that was an excellent development. Was he bluffing? Or did he truly not mind a little sausage on the side?
’If you like dick that much, why are you making me work so hard to give it to you?’
Thea didn’t take her eyes off of him as she pulled a cigarette and lighter out of her pocket. Lighting it, she took a deep drag and held it a moment, as she offered the smoke to him. “Nothing worth having is ever easy to get. You’ll have me if you win.”

Damn, no matter what I do she only responds in a single sentence at most. What's up with that? She seems interested, at the very least with this wager. "I'm sure we will." He replied his own smirk matching hers.
“I’m good at what I do,”
Here is a chance, we'll give her a little push and see how she responds. "Oh really? And how do you move your product? You barely speak, you gave me a hit. I'm not exactly seeing a winning business model here." He continued to smirk as he spoke, and his tone was certainly teasing. Well, I've set it up, all that is left is to see how she counters.
“Nothing worth having is ever easy to get. You’ll have me if you win.”
He took a moment to think as he accepted the cigarette, taking a drag and then offering it back. Nothing worth having is ever easy to get, huh? Well, why don't we see just how worth having you think I am, Thea. Will you chase me? Or just let me go? "I suppose you are right, nothing worth having should be easy. I suppose perhaps I've been too easy then. You don't even seem interested in this conversation, given how little you add when you do speak. I guess I'll just move along, find someone more engaged to talk to, maybe slip back stage and see what's going on there." He smirked as he spoke, and after she took her cigarette back, he began to walk, moving past her. "It was nice to meet you Thea, I hope you can sell without the help of my party." Now we see what she is really about, let's see if she'll come after me instead. Move this game to a neutral site, so to speak.

’Oh really? And how do you move your product? You barely speak, you gave me a hit. I'm not exactly seeing a winning business model here.’
Thea gave a sly smirk of amusement. “My shit is good, and I’m not pushy,” she answered simply, for he had made a reasonable observation. Truly, she used her samples often to play more of a long game than not. She didn’t pester people, but observed, watching for those most likely to indulge, or who were actively looking for a score. She’d make eye contact, a subtle flash of her goods and let them come to her.
Taking her cigarette back, Thea placed it between her lips and took another long drag.
’I suppose you are right, nothing worth having should be easy. I suppose perhaps I've been too easy then. You don't even seem interested in this conversation, given how little you add when you do speak. Even with her letting him have the final say in their negotiations, he still wanted more. Well he certainly was greedy with his need to be wanted. A potentially fatal flaw, one that could be very fun to play with.
As he brushed past her, Thea smirked to herself, not moving to watch him leave. Instead, she tilted her head back, her chin towards the sky and closed her eyes in nothing but a show of complete relaxation.
’It was nice to meet you Thea, I hope you can sell without the help of my party.’
Thea smirked, her eyes still closed. “Enjoy the dicks for me, Alex.”
Whether he was bluffing and would come back or not was completely up to him, but she would not be giving him the satisfaction of chasing him. No, while she could have made an obscene amount of money from him, she would not let him have too many wins all at once, it would set a precedent. If he truly left, then that was that. She would carry on about her evening as planned with nothing lost but a single pill. She’d recover that later when she found a bunch of pretentious rich people she could overcharge.
Swaying slightly to the music, Thea let her head slowly drop back down as she slowly exhaled the smoke from her cigarette.
Opening her eyes again, Thea scanned the nearby crowd, her gaze bouncing from one body to the next until her eyes met the solid brown orbs of a guy standing not too far away from her. He gave her a sly smirk, to which she responded with one of her own. Encouraged, the guy began to approach. Thea didn’t look back to see if Alex was still there or not.
