Meeting with the king wasn't all that bad, nor was it not nervewracking. Sil wasn't really a big fan of meeting his Majesties, but he had to go and see them once in a while for he was a courtier for the kingdom. Relaying what was happening outside of the country was part of his job. Anyways, finishing up his reports, the young man trotted leisurely down one of the many hallways of the castle. Rounding a corner, he realized that he didn't know where he was at all. Could it be that he was lost? Afterall he wasn't at all familiar with the layout of the castle even if he was here dozens of time before. No, he doesn't have a lousy sense of direction, it just that the castle was just so damn huge.
Ignore the nagging feeling that someone or something was watching him for some time, Sil turned and trotted back down the hallway he had just walked back from. It would be the best for him if he just returned to his starting point and started over from there. Unfortunately for him, he managed to walk through an entirely different hallway, making him even more lost. Oh, what the hell! The young man stopped walking to frown perplexedly at the wall in front of him. He had somehow wandered into a dead end and was not liking it at all. Frustrated he let out a loud groan and crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the wall one more time wishing it would dissolve before turning around.
Wishing desperately that he had some map of the castle, Sil mumbled softly underneath his breath as he raked a hand over his messy brown hair, "Holy Athena, why is this place so big? Surely someone in this castle can show me the way out. I've been walking around forever. Who knows, I just might be stuck in here forever!" He can be overly dramatic when he is under a massive amount of stress and being stuck in a castle can do it for him.

Asia was just leaving the library, having finally escaped yet another lesson and now found herself free for the rest of the day, and started to make her way towards the stables when she came across a man who looked very lost. Athanasia didn't approach him right away, watching as he paced the halls, walking passed her little corner that she hid in twice in his search. Was he looking for a way out? Was he trying to find the library? Athanasia had never seen this particular man before, though that didn't say much since she was always running around outside or busy with lessons. She didn't attend any of the meetings or gatherings that her family held, not unless they forced her too. Watching as he met yet another dead end, Asia couldn't stop the giggle as he let out a loud groan of frustration, looking much like her kid nephew right then as he crossed his arms and appeared to be pouting.
After a moment more, watching as the man pleaded with the goddess Athena, Athanasia stepped out if her corner with a practiced quiet step, much improved in her times of sneaking out, just as the man complained about being stuck here forever. "Well, there could be worse places to be stuck, I am sure. Where are you trying to get too?" As per normal Asia had her hair down around her shoulder, though this time she was dressed in a simple pale blue gown that actually brushed across the floor for once. Much different from the usual attire that she escaped in.

As he was glaring at the wall, SIl couldn't help but pick up a tiny giggle from somewhere. Uh oh, was it a ghost or a spy or even worse a servant? His hand inched towards the sword that was hanging next to his hip. He had to be ready just in case someone came out to get him. The young man wasn't jumpy at all. Not by far. He was pretty brave himself. But of the late, he hated being sneaked up on, especially if his brother was rumored to be murdered by something by someone close enough to do so. He didn't want to be next. As he was complaining about being stuck in the hallways forever, he failed to pick up footsteps from behind him until a voice spoke up. His hands flew to his sword as he turned around to face whoever his attacker erm well maybe savior?
He realized it was a young woman and relaxed slightly. He wrinkled his nose a little when he recognized the voice as well as the woman. "Milady," He said with a polite bow, "Where you the one spying on me the whole time?" Letting out a soft laugh, he murmured, "I'm sure there is, milady Athanasia. I was just finishing up a report with your father and was trying to leave. But since a cute little ghostie popped out, I don't mind spending some time with you. Unless milady has somewhere, she needs to be." He tried oh so very hard not to eye the young woman up. All of his previous problems had already flew out of his mind since the young woman had showed up. He had already noticed how the pale blue gain fitted her frame ever so well.

Watching as the man's hand flew to his sword, Asia laughed even more. She couldn't help it, the thought never crossed her mind that anyone would ever be wary and so jumpy in her home. To be fair though, she did watch him become distressed at finding himself lost. Just as she showed herself, asking him where he was trying to go, Asia arched her brow ever so slightly as she nosed his nose crinkle a little. "I admit, I was. I was curious to see what you were up too. It wasn't until I saw you were lost that I thought I could help. Lest you wish to find your way on your own.."
Looking over him curiously, she wasn't surprised when he bowed and called her by name. Her father had many visitors, but when he commented on 'cute ghosties' she couldn't help but internally roll her eyes. Asia had no care to ever go through that again, since the last guy she had found cute and grown to have a crush on turned out to be a woman. "I don't know who you are, but I actually don't have anywhere I need to be right at this moment." Walking down the hallway, she was about 10 feet away from him before she turned to look over her shoulder at him, offering a small but friendly smile. "Are you coming?" With full intentions of heading to the main hall, it never hurt to have company, right?

Ugh, why was she laughing at him? Did he do something stupid or funny? Sil gave the young lady in front of him a pout as he dropped his hand away from his sword. So much for wanting to appear more manly in front of a lady. When Athanasia spoke, he gave her a small nod of his head as he quickly unwrinkled his nose. "I see, it would have helped if you've said something. I now days then to dislike it when people sneak up on me. I do not know if they are here to attack me or not." He admitted with a sheepish smile on his face. "Forgive me, milady." He gave her another bow. This time shaking his head, he said, "No, thank you, milady Athanasia. I would not like to spend another long time here. Your help would be lovely."
When Athanasia mentioned something about not knowing his name, SIl felt a little guilty. "Do forgive me, milady for not introducing myself right away. I had some other stuff I was more occupied with at the moment. I am Silanos of Valoritis. I am here at your service." He gave her a swift bow, a lower one this time. When he looked up, Athanasia was already halfway down the hall. Well, this was new. Not many women would walk away from him, especially when he was talking to them. "Of course, please wait for me, milady!" The young man hurriedly went after her when she flashed him a smile and asked if he was coming or not. Wow, he needed to get his game on and try harder to please her. This young lady was a hard one to crack. But mark his words, he will make her fall at his feet, like so many others did. Challenge accepted.

Seeing his pout, Athanasia stopped her chuckle but didn't hide her smile, "I am not laughing at you if that is what you are thinking. I am laughing at the fact of how quickly you reached for your sword. I have never known anyone to need their swords here in my family's home before, it was kind of amusing to see." His smile was a nice one, even if it made her wary of him. It was one of the things that always had Athanasia's guard up, charming men. Were they charming to her because of her, or because she was the princess? "There is nothing to forgive..?" It was a statement that ended as a question, unsure why he was asking her for forgiveness unless it was because she surprised him and he reached for his sword. If that, there was truly nothing to forgive. "It is a pleasure to meet you Silanos. As you already know, my name is Athanasia." It was always interesting to Asia to meet new people, even as she never trusted them, it was fun for her to see just how far she could push them.
Whether by brawling, archery, or even trying her hand at sword fighting in disguise, Asia loved to see just how far she could push and prove that she was just as good (if not better) than any man. For Silanos, he was lucky that she looked at him as a guest, deciding to play nice for the moment as her mother would wish her to be. As she turned to move Asia didn't think he would have bowed so long, moving down the hall before realizing that he had yet to follow. "I'm sure you could keep up easily. If you don't mind me asking, what business did you have with my father?" Trying to keep up the conversation, Asia wondered what it was like in the mountains, not remembering if she ever been there before or not. "Do you like it here compared to being in the mountains? Is it much different?"

The cross expression left SIl's face immediately when he heard Athanasia's reply to his unspoken question. "Forgive me for wondering." He murmured silkily, "It seems that not only are you an angel, but you also seem to be a mind reader as well." Then shrugging his shoulders, the young man replied, "Of course you have never known anyone who might need their swords here since I'm sure everyone loves you." He gave her a small but brazen wink. "Of course there is something to forgive, milady. I almost drew my sword at you. It is a sign of disrespect especially towards a royal woman." He said breezily unsure why he was explaining himself to her. If she said that there was nothing to forgive, shouldn't he go along with it? Gods, what was wrong with him? Giving her a blinding smile, he responded, "The pleasure is all mine, milady. After all, it isn't every day I get to meet such a beautiful princess like yourself." There he went again, flirting with anyone who walked on two legs.
Sil observed the princess's face. He couldn't tell what was going on in her head just of yet. He had heard rumors of her different abilities and had come to admire her for them. Nodding his head, the young man took no time in reaching her. Keeping up rather quickly, he tilted his head to the side at her questions about his home and his business with her father. "I was here to report on what is going on back in Valaoritis. Since my brother is now the baron, he doesn't have the time to leave the barony. So he sends me to places in his place." He then swiftly moved to the other topic. "It's different here; I have to admit. Each place has its good qualities. Although I do love spending my time near the capital, I still love my home. After all, I have lived there since forever." He gave Athanasia a warm smile and asked, "Has milady been to Eubocris before?"

With the comment of being a mind reader, Asia shrugged just slightly and gave him the smallest of smiles. "Not a mind reader, just not an uncommon thought." When the comment of everyone loving her, that brought out a good chuckle as she shook her head, "I seriously doubt that. I am sure many of my tutors are irritated with me, if not hate it when it comes to lesson time." To Anthanasia that was the truth, for how often she skipped out on lessons and avoided her tutors, she was sure of it but because she was the princess she never once thought of anyone drawing their swords on her. As the gentleman winked at her, Asia turned to look around behind her. She didn't want him to see her look of frustration as she hides any blush that may show, not wanting to fall for anything like that again. It was only a moment, a look that she played off as if she was looking to see if there were someone behind her, before looking back. "So if I were anyone but a royal, would you still have had a problem drawing your sword?" Mimicking his breezy tone, she couldn't help the small smile that escaped her. "I am not as helpless as most would like to think."
Athanasia had no idea on how to respond to his claiming she was beautiful, shaking her head just slightly in disagreement. Her mother was beautiful, her sister-in-law was beautiful, Asia never thought of herself that way. "Well..." she was struggling to think of something witty to say, something that would show that even though she thought he was cute she wasn't going to be like any of the other girls that he probably has falling all over him, much to her aggravation though Asia could only get out two of the words, "thank you." As her mind wandered about how she could push back somehow all while being polite, she had walked some ways down the hall before turning back and watching Silanos catch up. "I can understand that. It must be nice to be able to go anywhere on your own, even if it's under your brother's orders. Where all have you been, if you do not mind me asking? Which was your favorite place?" As she asked about his home, Asia couldn't help but smile with him as he described it. "Home is always a comfort and a favorite place to be. I know Colchis is mine. As for going to Eubocris, I don't believe I have been there. If I had, I was young. I am not allowed to go to other places unless accompanied by my father or one of my brothers. Could you describe it for me? I want to know how it looks through your eyes." With a grin, she couldn't help but bite her lower lip as she tried to stop her smile, her curiosity shining through.

Sil offered Athanasia a smile as he said, "I do suppose you are right. It could be an uncommon thought but to have seen murder..." He trailed off, not wanting to go further. It might be a little painful for him to replay the memory and for her to hear it. His heart throbbed for a few seconds as the hurriedly cleared that particular memory away. No need to dwell on the past. Ah, the sound of her laughter tilted the young man's world just a little bit on its axis. He shrugged his shoulders and replied carefully, "Not enough to want to kill you, so there is no need for you to wield a blade all the time." He didn't want to offend her any time soon. When she looked away at his wink, Sil chuckled silently underneath his breath. So Athanasia wasn't made from a rock after all. She was still human and can feel emotions. Shaking his head now, he said quickly, "Oh no, milady. I will never draw a sword on anyone if they are unarmed. Especially if they are female." Giving the young woman in front of him a lopsided smile at her quip about not being as helpless as most would think, he said, "Oh I know. I have seen as well as heard things about you, milady." He hoped he didn't sound too creepy.
It seems that Athanasia was struggling with his comment about her being beautiful. Sil pursed his lips together slightly to keep from commenting. What is with women in the Kotas's family? Do they not know that they are all beautiful? At long last, the young woman gave him her thanks, and he shook his head a little. "Took you long enough, milady. Do you really think you're not beautiful? I'm sure many men have fallen at your feet." A playful smile appeared on his face, telling her that he was only teasing her. Nodding his head to her comment about being nice to be able to travel, he said pleasantly, "Oh yes indeed, milady. It is indeed nice. I get to travel the world and see and feel stuff that other people might not be able to." Tilting his head to the side, he promptly said, "Not at all. I do say my favorite place is Athenia's capital. It's beautiful there." His blue eyes sparkled as he talked.
Seeing Athanasia's smile, SIl felt his heart melt. It was adorable, especially when she tried to hide it from him. "Of course, whatever milady wants." He beamed, "I don't mind describing it for you. Eubocris is carved from the mountains. We travel from place to place on horseback. The view is marvelous from all sides since we are in the middle of a valley. You can see miles and miles of nothing but mountain ranges." He sighed a little visualizing his home province. He realized with a pang; he really did miss it after all those years of leaving home.

"I have never seen murder, I can not imagine what that may be like." She had never even thought of that possibility in her home, but she should have. She had watched men train for battle, have even snuck into a few in disguise just to show she could do it, even as she gotten in trouble many times for doing such things. When he commented on people loving her, Asia couldn't help the laugh as she thought of all the angry faces that flashed through her mind. Of the many tutors that threatened bodily harm to her, even though they never touched her for fear of her father. "You may be surprised. Though I do suppose you are right, I don't ever feel the need to carry a blade around with me all the time." Even though she does, but that was only because it was one of her most prized possessions. After dodging Silanos' wink, his comment about hearing things had caught her attention. "Heard things? What have you heard about me?" Curiosity fueling her question, not actually caring what most others say, though she found she was interested in hearing what Silanos heard.
It was weird being called beautiful, making a face at him when he said it took her long enough to say thank you. In a house with nothing but brothers, she never grew up thinking about looks, wanting to follow her older siblings everywhere and be just like them. Asia was usually found in the dirt or with sticks in her hair from a run through the woods and climbing in trees, so the word beautiful wasn't used much. Though her mother did try and change that, but Anthanasia is a stubborn woman. "It's not really a matter to what I think. I just always followed my brothers and hung out with them. Learning the interesting things they learned, and running through the woods, no one calls someone covered in mud with leaves in her hair beautiful. So no men falling at my feet, though if they did, it was probably because they said something stupid and I punched them." There. She was honest and blunt. Now this weird feeling that made her want to smile like Athena stole any of her wit or Aphrodite cast some charm on her would just go away. Asia didn't let many people close, especially not boys she thought were cute and charming.
Changing the subject quickly, Athanasia thought a safe topic would be to talk about favorite places. "I think I been there once or twice while my father traveled there. I agree it is beautiful from what I remember." Watching him, seeing the love he had for his home place had Athanasia smiling, reminding her of how she probably sounded when she talked of her own home. Though thinking about horseback brought back a weeks old ache, she was getting better at running now though thanks to her friend's lessons before she left. "It sounds like an amazing place. Maybe one day, if my father or brothers travel there, I might be able to talk them into allowing me to come along. Could be fun exploring and seeing the mountains you describe." Hearing his sigh, she looked over at him and met his gaze fully, "How long have you been from home? Just wondering, you sounded like you miss it." Asia didn't know if she overstepped in asking, but no one ever called her tactful in her questioning.

A dark look appeared on Sil's face as he listened to Athanasia talk about not seeing a murder before. That was a relief to know that she was still pure and innocent... to a degree. Nodding his head, he murmured darkly, "Very good milady. It's a good thing you haven't see a murder before. It's something that you can't unsee. It took me years before I could go about my days without needing to break out into hysterics all the time. As you can see, I still am a little wary." He took a deep shuddering breath before giving the young woman a wry smile. "I apologize for the rant, and I'm sure you don't need to know about my whole life story."
Hearing her laugh once more at his comment about her being loved, Sil raised a dark eyebrow. "Am I wrong, milady? You seemed amused." He couldn't help but comment. He then laughed at her explanation before shaking his head. "Fair enough, milady, fair enough." A guarded look came across the young man's face when he was suddenly asked about what he had heard of the little princess. He tilted his head to the side and asked. "Are you sure you want to know? They aren't bad per say, just drabbles here and there. Rumors really. I'm not even so sure if they true or not." He had heard about how she dressed up like a man to train and how she can use different weapons to defend herself. Those were honorable things to do, at least in his eyes.
Even that face that she made at him was adorable. His heart was now probably in a puddle. Oh, gods, she was too much for his heart. Perhaps this was the reason why he went after older women. They were safer for him. Listening to Athanasia's tale about her childhood, he also made a face and mused, "What is it with women these days. Can't they just believe that they are beautiful inside and out, whether or not they have been trampling in mud and leaves?" He then threw back his head and roared with laughter and said, "Milady, you have just made my day." He gave her the third wink of the day.
Nodding his head quickly, not minding the topic change (in fact he found it amusing as hell) Sil beamed in response. When they got to the topic on traveling, he found himself offering, "If milady wishes, I can escort you to and back Eubocris. I am going back home soon anyway." He then breathed out a sigh and murmured softly, his face falling slightly, "I do suppose a couple of years. I kind of left home, not really intending on returning for a while. But then something happened, and now I'm never happier." He then added, "Nothing too important to recall though." Nope, he wasn't going to talk about or think about that day ever again.

He then breathed out a sigh and murmured softly, his face falling slightly, "I do suppose a couple of years. I kind of left home, not really intending on returning for a while. But then something happened, and now I'm never happier." He then added, "Nothing too important to recall though." Nope, he wasn't going to talk about or think about that day ever again.

Athanasia wasn't sure how to respond when she heard that Silanos had witnessed a murder before. From the look he had given her, she would guess that it still affected him. When he let out his breath and apologized, Asia shook her head. "There is no need. If I had seen something like that, I probably would have been ranting as well. As for your life story, so far, I find you interesting." It was as good as he was going to hear that she was intrigued by him and wanted to know more about him. Most men who have tried never even got that far as they spoke cheesy lines or tried to catch her attentions by only talking about themselves and their exploits. All the things that made her want to throw up. So far, Silanos has been flirty but not overly so. It was different. While talking about being loved and her laughing at the thought of men throwing themselves at her feet had Athanasia giggling. "It's nothing really. Just thinking of all my tutors and how often they look at me like they wish to beat me." As they spoke, Athanasia found herself slowly opening up as they talked. "It never hurts to know. At least I don't think so." And she wanted to know what he thought, even as his look became guarded. "Not bad per say? So still bad." At that, she smiled to herself as she looked ahead at where they were walking.
For a moment Asia opened up and in a blunt-as-she-could manner, she told Silanos about why she never thought about the word beautiful applying to herself, and how men usually end up at her feet because she put them there with her fist. Never having anticipated making him laugh so hard, which somehow made her smile with a look of pride on her face, this time she blamed all the laughter that made her cheeks feel heated instead of the wink he just threw her way before changing topics quickly. "You wish to escort me? Even though you just met me?" Looking over at him sideways, trying to hide her cheeky grin, she couldn't help it as she tried to keep it cool. "Well, that could be fun, though father will probably have a guard with me at all times." It was the only thing that annoyed her while traveling, understood it, but still annoyed her. Hearing his tone change, Asia stopped in the hallway, the entrance to the main hall easily seen from where they were as she turned to face him. "I usually don't do this, but something about you makes you very easy to talk too. If you need to rant or even just talk while you are here in Colchis, I am willing to listen." The look on Asia's face probably showed how unsure she was, not used to making such offers, especially not to men as she fidgeted a little as they stood there. If Silanos moved towards her, Asia would move down the hallway again to avoid the intimacy growing even more. If he stood there, she wouldn't move, waiting to hear what he had to say.

Sil's face softened and the dark look slightly lessened as Athanasia forgave him for his rant. "Thank you milady. The years after the murder had been one of the many harder years. It still pains me to think about it." He then gave her a crooked smile and murmured, "Oh? I should be honored then, to have an angel like you to be interested in a lowly male like me." A more pleasant look came across the young man's face, wiping away any traces of grief that had been on there before as he listened to the young princess talk. He liked listening to her talk and laugh. It was music to his ears. He chuckled softly and murmured, "Do you not like your classes, milady? I for one loved them." His favorite had been horseback riding lessons since it was their main type of transportation. Going back to the rumors and reputation topic, he sighed giving her a nod of his head. "I suppose you are right, milady. It won't ever hurt to know. Just don't take the bad ones to heart, I pray to thee." Scratching the back of his neck, Sil mused, "Alright, think of what you like and judge for yourself. I just heard that you've dressed up as a man to train with your soldiers and that you are proficient in many different types of weapons. All good in my eyes." It was true, he liked it when people can defend themselves, even if they were females. Less work for both parties if they ever got attacked.
He had almost thought he might have offended Athanasia when he started laughing, but to his utter relief, she just smiled rather proudly if he had to say so himself. When he finished laughing, he took in a few deep breaths before smiling at the redness in the young woman's cheeks. The color looked gorgeous on her. At her question about him escorting her to his home province, Sil nodded his head. "Yes milady, I wouldn't mind. After all, I am a courtier of the palace. It's not the first time I've seen you around." Shrugging his shoulders he swiftly replied, "If that's what his majesty wants then I don't mind either. Anything to keep this sweet angel from getting hurt is good." When they suddenly stopped walking, the young man gave her a confused look before looking around and spotted the main hall. Oh, their time was up. A twinge of disappointment coursed through him. Turning back to Athanasia, Sil gave her a sweet smile and nodded his head, "Thank you for your help milady. It has been the utmost pleasure talking to you. When I come again to report to your father, I'll be sure to call again." He gave her a low bow before taking her hand gently in his and giving it a tiny kiss on the back. He then straightened up, acting as if he had done nothing wrong.

Watching his expression change so easily because she forgave him, Athanasia wondered all at what Silanos had been through. Who was murdered? Did he see it or did he do it? Though she highly doubted that he did it, because if so, he wouldn't be here talking to here right then. As they spoke, Athanasia couldn't help but shake her head as she smiled at him calling her an angel, "For one thing, you are not a lowly male. And two, angel? Really? And yes, I find you interesting to talk too." As they spoke more, Asia found that she was rather enjoying herself as they spoke of everything that came to mind. "Only the interesting ones. Otherwise, I prefer to be outside instead of having my nose stuck in some book or learning needlepoint." It was one of those moments where she could remember all the forced lessons that she endured. Asking about rumors, she listens as he tells her. "Hmm... I have tried to train with the soldiers, though usually even in disguise, my brothers catch me and send me back. Only thing I wear that is 'manly' is their chiton because it is so much easier to run in. I am not very good with the sword, though Nike and Val taught me how to be rather good with a dagger. Zanon taught me how to use my bow. So mostly true for some of them, though it is nice to hear that you think that is a good thing." Now she gave him a big smile, rather pleased with herself now.
When topics changed to his home and favorite places, Asia enjoyed listening to him, more so than she thought she would, especially when Silanos offered to escort her around and show her his city. There it was again, he called her angel. Was he usually this sweet to others? It was then that their walk came to a close, making Asia frown a little to herself at the rush of disappointment that she felt suddenly. With a quick offer that Silanos could talk to her any time he wanted when he was there, Asia about turned away to leave as he smiled. It was at that moment that Athanasia; the only daughter to king Tython, princess of Colchis, and blunt to the point of rudeness soul, was at a loss for words. She didn't pull back when he grabbed her hand gently. Nor did she pull away as she watched him lift it to his lips as her usual instinct would have been. Instead, she watched him kiss the back of her hand, feeling the heat from his lips travel up her arm and filled her cheeks with their own heat. "I-I-I.. I mean.. It was nice talking to you too. Please be safe, excuse me." She needed to run. With a quick turn down a hall, she waited until the moment she knew that no one could see her and she ran to her room. It was only moments, but changing out of her long chiton, letting the silky soft fabric lay in a bunch on the floor as Athanasia put on her much shorter outfit. With her legs bare from just above her knees and down, she grabbed her bow and quiver. It wasn't long before she found the window she wanted as she jumped out and rand at full speed to the woods and escape whatever feelings were slowly starting to build up.

Even as they were pulling away from the topic of Niko's murder, SIl couldn't shake off his gloom. It was perpetually hanging over him, and he felt that it might never go away. Of course not, not after the last ordeal he had been through with him nearly getting murdered himself. He had made a stupid and unforgivable mistake, all the while being drunk. It was a wonder that he remembered most of what had happened that night.
Glancing back over at Athanasia, he blinked at the smile on her face before smiling back slightly. Shaking his head, he mused after listening to her words, "Ah milady, you are a sweet, innocent thing. You don't know much about me at all do you? Not that you would want to since you might think very lowly of me if you do. Secondly yes, you are an angel. Who else would take the time out of their busy lives to help a stranger who's wandering their halls? Lastly, thank you."He then left it at that.
If he said anything more, he might be blurting out what he had done with her sister-in-law and that her older brother was probably waiting to kill him. He shuddered just thinking about how angry the prince was. Anyways... Tilting his head to the side as he listened to Athanasia talk about her classes, Sil chuckled softly. "I see." He commented in an amused voice, "If I were in your shoes, I would have done the same. All those things you mentioned sounds oddly borning." Bobbing his head, he eagerly listened to her confirming his rumors and finally grinned back at her. "I have to say that I'm very impressed milady. You have outshone most of the woman of our time." His blue eyes twinkled merrily down at the young woman next to him.
Their farewell greeting was no different from the ones Sil gave to most other noblewomen or royal women, but he couldn't help but feel amused by the way Athnasaia had acted when he kissed the back of her hand. It seems that she had either no clue what to do with him, or felt disgusted by his action. He hoped it would be the former one. Letting her hand fall from his grasp, he just gave her another smile before watching her disappear down the hall and out of sight. His heart fluttered uncharacteristically in his chest. He had no clue why though. Pressing a hand against it, he turned and trotted down towards the entrance of the palace. Upon exiting, he glanced up just in time to see a window open and a familiar looking person slipping out of it. Another light chuckle flowed from his lips as he hopped on his awaiting carriage. Farewell, thee princess. He had a feeling they were going to meet again sometime soon... At least he hoped so.

Bobbing his head, he eagerly listened to her confirming his rumors and finally grinned back at her.
"I see."
