Dima couldn't say for certain where he was. Ever since the shocking break of the prison, the crush of humanity in the streets and finding Chrysanthe, his whole system felt like he was in a necessary shut down to try to process what exactly had happened. He didn't even know what day it was, or what month, how long he'd been locked up or even how long he'd been free for that matter. He'd slept in short snips since his freedom had been realized and he'd been shoved into the corner of one of the servants quarters. Every time someone moved he jolted awake, any noise was a guard coming back to get him, and no matter how firmly he pressed his back against the wall he was sure that someone would reach out and grab him from behind and throw him back in a cell.
All he wanted was to find Olena and get out of here. Being kept in the dark here was only marginally better than the prison, and no matter how many times he'd tried to slip out and run back to Aetea, there had been guards to pushed him back inside. He'd promised it would only be a few days, and now who knew how long it had been. She would think him a liar now, perhaps even think that he'd just run away from her instead of going to the city and returning in short order. The only thing that kept him from jumping out of a window was the knowledge that Hector, Aimias, and Chrysanthe were here. Perhaps that meant Olena was here somewhere as well.
If she was here and they were keeping him from her he might very well slit a throat with the next sharp object he could get his hands on, but the guards were doing a very good job at ensuring he didn't have access to anything like that either. A gash on his forehead was bleeding sluggishly, the rest of his body covered in scrapes and bruises from his time in the flyaki as well as his dash through the crowd, but it appeared the rest of the household was dealing with their own injuries as well. Whatever had happened while he was locked up, it was changing everything.
The door opened once again and he jumped, eyes flying open as he woke if he ever had been asleep. He was ready for another fight, adrenaline pumping through his body until he saw who had intruded.

"Chrysanthe...what's happened, where are we?"
How long it had been since they had arrived at the Antonis house, Chrysanthe couldn’t say for sure. She had managed to hold herself together long enough to make the walk there with some help from the same man who had carried Ariadne for her. It was all a bit of a blur, but she eventually found herself waking up in a bed in the servants’ quarters. She ached all over, and she vaguely wondered if this was what laundry felt like after it had been beaten to remove all the dirt. Her head felt as if it might split itself in two, and it was hard to focus on anything. If possible, her nose felt worse, and she didn’t dare try to touch it to inspect the damage.
Before she did anything else, it was important that she find the people she had come here with. Hector was easy enough to find and from there Ariadne. The others she knew less well, but they all seemed to have made their way here as well, in various states of injury, but all had survived the mob. For that she couldn’t help but be grateful.
Then at the back of her foggy mind, another thought surfaced. Dima. She had seen him in the crowd. He had come back with them. He must have been freed by the mob somehow. That is if the whole thing wasn’t some sign that she had hit her head harder than she thought. If it was true, she needed to find where he was. She frantically began her search of the house, as much as her sore muscles protested such moving about.
Just as she was about to give up and ascribe him to the several knocks she had taken to the head, she opened a door and he was there, right in front of her. “Dima there you are! I’ve been looking all over for you. I was beginning to think I had imagined you out there in the crowd.” He looked as if she had startled him and she just wanted to comfort him. “It’s alright. The mobs are gone now and we’re safe here.”
She frowned a bit as she looked him over. “You’re bleeding,” she pointed out, looking around for something to wipe it with. Not that she looked much better herself. She had wiped her face after her nose had broken, but she’d not had the chance to properly wash her face, nor to look in a mirror at the damage. Then another thought entered her sluggish mind. “How did you get out anyway? I thought you were in jail?” That thought distracted her from her search for something to clean the blood off her face. Her mind only seemed to be able to keep one thing in focus at a time.

He was still a bit dazed himself. The realization that he'd escaped from the prison was still a shock and he wasn't entirely confident yet that this wasn't all some strange dream. He'd dreamed of freedom before only to be woken cruelly, and this felt fuzzy enough that he couldn't be sure until he saw her face more clearly. In all of his dreams she'd never been injured, and he winced at the sight of blood dried down on her face and how swollen she seemed. So the riots had been real, the blows that had landed on him suddenly felt all the more as if they were weighing down his limbs.
Brushing his face against the fabric of his filthy chiton he gave a shrug, shrinking back into the corner where he'd hidden himself as she came closer. He had no reason to distrust her, indeed of all of the people he'd seen so far that day she was the one he trusted most. But he'd left Olena with her, and he hadn't yet seen his betrothed, nor had he heard anything about her and there was a cold fear settling in around his heart that something terrible had happened and they weren't telling him.
"It's no worse than I have been. Fresh air is enough."
She mentioned the jail and he shuddered involuntarily, curling in on himself even more and looking over her shoulder as if he expected guards to follow her in and drag him away. He wouldn't be surprised, this was a noble house after all, and so far every noble he'd been foolish enough to trust had let him down, only caused more pain.
"Mob. Somehow they broke through. More than me were able to escape." Looking over at his friend Dima cautiously shifted to his knees, leaning toward her instead of away for the first time since he'd grabbed hold of her at first in the mob. He had to know, his heart wouldn't stop racing until he knew. "Chrysanthe, where is she? Tell me she is safe, please."
