The walls werent thin in this house however she was cursed with sharp hearing, there was never a day that went by without someone screaming the truth at each other and though Agathe held one of the strongest spines between her and her sisters? She couldn’t bare the thought of their father turning his wrath upon anyone but herself, she had heard the rumours of Daniils future, the hushed venom of who she was becoming and though Daniil was as much of a son her father could get? She still deserved a life of her own. They all did and Agathe paced her quarters toying with the relaxed braid draping over her shoulder as she mulled over possible words that would comfort her sister, however she was coming up empty.
Instead of treating Daniil as another game to plan she simply spun on her feet and exited her quarters to search for the girl, Chiron whisping behind her in her gait of purpose. Agathe knew everyone held a place on the grounds that were special to them, a place held secret from their father; a place to hide almost but Agathe made it her business to know her sisters’ places and so with the ground warm beneath her feet she walked the journey through the courtyard to the most likely place of the stables.
Agathe herself wasn’t a fan of the stables, the stale smell of horses but their own stallions and mares were a prized possession; one she couldn’t even deny as she picked up a horses brush and stood by her own. Midnight was a beautiful stallion, black with a white stripe between his eyes residing next to Daniils own Mare as she sighed loudly into the hay filled air; free hand smoothing over her horses long nose as she gazed into his eyes.
“You know I dont care about who you choose to be, as long as you’re happy don’t you?” The silence was heavy between them as she stepped into Midnights stable and began brushing his flank, chewing the inside of her cheek before loosing an admission. “Alright, maybe you dont know.. I’ve been avoiding you as much as father, I wasn’t here.” Frowning, she wasn’t sure if her sister was listening before she made her way to the stable she had been busying herself with a glance around to check if they were alone.
“Dani.. Talk to me.” She pleaded softly, wringing her hands around her braid in hate for how vulnerable she was feeling something Agathe avoided as she moved to stand on the other side of Muse combing her fingers through the Muses mane. “We all at war with each other Daniil.. Please.”

Dani had gotten up well before dawn. She tried to go back to sleep but it eluded her, just like it had for most of the night and when it was there, Hypnos set Epiales loose on her and likely enjoyed the result of his handiwork.
She was not sure what had triggered it. Could it be that she was just lonely. The fact that Yannis was back home and on the radar of the woman they intended for him to marry, annoyed the brunette to no end. She let out a growl and threw on her clothes. Breaking her fast would have to wait for her mood to shift. A visit to Muse would help calm her soul and later she would draft a missive and maybe that would help her heart.
On silent feet Dani made her way to the stables, quick fingers plaiting her long dark hair as she moved.
She moved over to where the supplies were kept in the stables and drew out the brush and then she headed to Muse. As she worked in a soothing rhythm she hummed one of her favorite songs. She had no idea how long she worked on her horse's coat before she heard the footsteps and then the sigh and the sneeze. She looked in the direction of the interruption and then let out a soft sigh.
"Really Agathe? I am not shocked that you were not here. Mother is forever going on about how I need to be a lady, especially now when I have the possibility of getting Father to make the match I have been wanting for..... What she does not understand is that it was not my being a lady that attracted him.... it was my skill with a sword and my tomboy nature." Dani said softly.

The sound of her sisters sigh tugged at the heart string that Agathe had believed to have been severed long long ago until this very moment when she realised each of her sisters were fighting a game of tug of war between their parents. The same game of such that had driven her away to drown her sorrows in alcohol and recover in the arms of many, for reasons left inside of her own mind she glanced down to her feet and sat herself down on a pale of hay.
"Daniil.. Let me be truthful." Agathe held a breath and released it slowly, unsure of how to word her affections to the younger woman; something her entire family struggled with, as the words danced upon the tip of her tongue tasting sour with every meaning that could be found rather than the one she truly intended before she gave a rather unladylike shake of her head. "You're always going to be in the middle of them. Mother goes on about many things and Father not enough things, what we want? Holds no concern in a this.. Circus of politics. Mother wants a lady, dressed in gold and speaking in petals whilst father wants a son."
"They dont care for what they have." Agathe held little apologies for the disrespect spoken of their parents for she truly believed they didn't respect their children enough to care for what made them happy or how unhappy their actions proved them to be. Infact, Agathe allowed her words to hang in the air whilst she folded her hands in her lap and tucked her feet to the side sitting in the only comfortable position she could find. "The only person who cares for your happiness? Is you, occasionally me."
She flashed a bright grin before the expression softened into a smile as she tucked her braid over her shoulder before meeting Dani's gaze with a soft frown, "It's all about titles, grace and class.. If a boy wants you for who you are and not what this house is trying to make you? I'd say to fight father, fight mother until you get what you want. We can be the change we want Dani.."
