To my Savior, Lord Timaeus of Valaoritis,
Words cannot begin to describe the depths of my gratitude to you, nor the heights of your valor. Were it not for your quick thinking, remarkable strength and ceaseless bravery, I would have taken my final voyage across the River Styx to find a home in Hades realm with my father. You protected me even at the risk of your own life. Given the loss your family has suffered, I realize that choice holds even more weight.
I can only pray someday that I might find a way to truly repay you for your actions that day. I have never felt safer than I did in your arms upon your noble steed, even as potential death rained down around us. I shall never forget your most gallant deed, nor the fondness it has inspired within me. There is no denying that all I might one day become will be a credit to your heroism, as without you I would surely have fallen on that very moor. If only I was a minstrel with the skill to immortalize your dauntless spirit in song or prose, for your actions are that of a hero and your praises deserve to be remembered for generations to come as with any other such epic tale.
It is my dearest wish that the future - one which I owe entirely to you, Lord Timaeus - might bring me closer to a time when I can offer you the reward you truly deserve. That I might be so blessed to have such an opportunity in the years to come. You will forever be my dearest savior and I am indebted to you for the rest of my days.
Your devoted damsel,
Essa of Drakos
