Lady Theodora,

It is my great pleasure to inform you that I have spoken with Achilleas and the Naos of Aphrodite to arrange for a meeting with the priestess of the Naos for your engagement to be seen as formal. Upon completion of your visit and upon presentation of your gift to the Temple of Hymen and to all temples in Vasiliadon by both you and your intended, in completion of which you will be seen as fully engaged. You will both attend the engagement party I will host in the Archontiko Mikaelidas.

Your 'protelia' should be arranged by your family, and offerings to be made to the goddesses Artemis and Aphrodite before your 'gamos' day. That day will take place two weeks hence. Your wedding banquet and all its details, I will see to. Emilios will see to the making of your wedding rings for you and Achilleas as well. You have naught to worry about, my dear.

I am excited to welcome you to our family, and hope that all will be smooth sailing. Please relate any worries you have to Emilios, as he is acting as his brother's assistant and best man for the wedding, and as such would be your person to liase with for any arrangements.
