Prince Zanon
Forgive my forwardness in being the first to send a missive to you, but I must confess that I find myself apologetic for the early departure from your residences, after your kindness in inviting me despite the late hours when we had met at the performance. My deepest thanks go to you, my prince, for I truly enjoyed myself the night, and find myself with memories I am unlikely to forget anytime soon. Tis a generous offer that I humbly appreciate, my prince.
You may find it odd, as I do have brothers of my own. However, the Thanasi household has rarely thrown parties after my mother passed away when I was ten. I have to admit, the party that I experienced was an eye-opening experience, and I would be most glad to join, should you deign to invite me to any in the future.
Apologies for the abruptness of my missive and words, but I find myself inexperienced in the art of sending missives. As one who is not the eldest nor the heir to my father, there has been no need for me, the young third daughter of the Thanasi household, to hold up any correspondences of my own for the house. Perhaps your Highness would be willing to practice with me? It may seem silly, since we can simply see each other, but I find myself entangled with my sister's duties and helping them out, and mayhaps not appear in the Court for the next few weeks or so.
Do you find yourself helping your siblings in their tasks as well? I hear that Crown Prince Vangelis is often not in Colchis, due to his duties as the general of the Red Knights. Do you take his duties when he is not in the Kingdom then, my prince?
I wish you good health and will include yourself in my prayers to the Gods everyday.
Lady Evras of Thanasi
