My dear Lord Panos,
I know that it has been some years since we last discussed trade agreements between our Houses, as I have been dealing directly with Lord Cyrus regarding our recent grain supply. This being said, my current missive is nought to do with trade but with connection. Connections that may be mutually beneficial for each of our Houses.
As you may have heard, my nieces have recently been engaged and married respectively to the ruling class of Taengea and while this has improved the standing of the House of Leventi exponentially, I look to seek connections with the world at large - not solely within one kingdom.
To that effect, I write to you regarding another of my nieces. Evangelina of Leventi is a beautiful young girl who is finally old enough and motivated to search for her future husband and family. She is currently due to stay with myself and my family and I can assure you that within three weeks of being in our company my wife will have trained her into the finest courtier Taengea has yet to behold.
I understand it that your second son has yet to find a suitable match in his life and, while he of course has many options with regards to the women of the court - I'm sure the tales of him offending the noble ladies of Athenia are pure malicious rumour and hold no truth - I offer forward a meeting between the two, should he ever wish to travel to Taengea. I cannot help but suspect that the two of them would be well suited in both age and temperament and that our Houses would only grow strong from such a connection.
Signed with friendship,
Lord Fotios of Leventi
