Daniil shivered again. What was it about Linos that sent her body to feeling like an iceberg that was slowly melting due to heat? She was confused by the pull and the emotions that ran through her. Was this what it was like to have feelings for a man? The kind that could lead to marriage? she wondered idly as she watched Linos, her head tilting to the side.
Of course there was Balius, her House Champion. Being around him was like standing inside a volcano. He was devoted to her and to the House, but even though he made the world heat up, he was below her station and there would be no chances in Hades of her Uncle allowing them to have any kind of a relationship outside of the clearly defined one of bodyguard, teacher, and comrade.
Her temperature rose at the moment but it was not clear if it was because of her current train of thought or if it was her closeness to Linos that had set it into motion. She felt his body tense next to her and was suddenly alert, though her fingers still traced lazy designs on his arm.
He took her had. She loved hearing him speak her name. She turned to face him in time to see him lick his lips. You're are nervous Linos. I wonder what about.
She smiled at his words and allowed the hand that was on his arm to trail up it in a feather soft touch. "You mean like this?" she asked him in her most innocent tone.
She blinked and then tossed her head back to laugh. He was blushing. She made him blush. Sweet Aphrodite! Uncle would spit his wine if he knew. I intend on making him do just that! she thought amused.
Giving him her attention she blushed and then said softly, "Yes.
She took a breath and then blinked as he changed the topic of discussion. Now that was a fast change if she ever saw one and she thought the men in her family were the sole masters of that skill.
"Oh? Where to? Tell me more about this scroll? How is your sister? I do hope that life is treating her well." she said. She looked him in the eye and nodded "Yes I would for I don't want you gone from me for any longer then needful and I do not see why my Uncle and Grandfather should be the only members of our family that travel when the whim suits them." she said softly returning his smile.

Feeling her run her hand up his arm warmed his chest and reddened his blush. It was almost as if his body was full of rivers that traveled down each and every inch of his body. They were roaring and the water would be moving at such a speed that nobody would cross, if the river were to be real. It just felt as if he was light and heavy, warm and cold... It was surreal. But it was truly enjoyable.
At the moment she answered affirmatively, that she also felt the same way as he, Linos didn't know why but he felt incredibly happy. It was almost as if all the worries and fears in his life were washed away, replaced with a personal ball of sunshine that he hoped never would leave. The excitement of the moment meant that he couldn't keep himself from smiling much more widely than normal. It was as if never ending joy was taking over every cell that made up his body, from his bones, through his flesh, and trickling across his skin.
As they moved onto the topic of his sabbatical, Linos kept her hand in his, feeling ever so motivated by it's presence there. As she shared the same feelings about not wanting to be apart from one another, he felt the heat of his body rise ever so slightly. It was a comfortable warmth, as if he was in bed about to fall asleep or sitting near a fire. It was sweet, kind, and inviting.
"The scroll speaks of a treasure of all knowledge to ever exist. However, it isn't just one. There are many scrolls. This one only leads to the next one. For that, Daniil, is in Colchis. I shall be departing after my current familial obligations are taken care of," he spoke lightly, a soft smile woven into his lips. His eyes wandered over her face as he spoke, feeling slightly intoxicated now by his newfound beauty in her.
"Haven't you heard? Thalia has been returned from her... absence," he didn't wish to speak so much on such a difficult matter, and in turn ruining the mood. However, he was so happy to have his sister back, especially after he had lost her for so long. He never thought he'd see her again, but she had been returned safely. That was all he could ask for at that point.
Suddenly, wind blew over top the cliffs, allowing the trees branches to sway softly, the leaves brushing against one another. In doing so, Linos noticed the wind had carried Daniil's hair into her lovely face. While unsure whether he should, Linos took the chance to lightly brush his fingers against her cheek and behind her ear, taking all blown away strands with them. However, once his fingers met with the majority of her hair, behind her ear, he paused, looking into her eyes.
Kiss her.
There were those words again, pouring over his thoughts. He gazed into her eyes; her beautiful, amazing, flawless eyes. His hand still behind her ear, he froze, completely overwhelmed with emotion in a way he had never felt before. He felt his lips part, remaining agape, ever so slightly, as his breathing slowed, lightened, and became more staggered. His other hand still was interlocked with hers, as he lightly tightened his grasp, never wanting to let go. He felt his eyes trail from her hazel eyes of gold down to her lips, throwing his brain into a tizzy. He was speechless, completely silent, and nervous all in one. It was the most curious of emotions.

Daniil watched him her smile growing slowly. I wonder if I look that way whenever someone mentions him to me? He looks so adorable. she bit her lower lip and then licked them, realizing just how dry they were. Her hazel eyes never left his face.
You need to spur on this pony if you want that ride Daniil. Uncle Rafi would tell you that the longer you drag your feet the more chance you're going to loose your nerve. she tells herself as she contemplated her next move. She could either be the chaste virgin that they all thought she was, or she could take a page out of the family's dirty little secret pile and dive into the pool with her eyes wide open.
She kept tracing images on Linos' arm with her one hand and holing his other as she silently debated the future. Around the pair birds flew and sung, a cat played every so often, and there was the constant rolling of the waves on the beach below them. The place was perfect and beautiful. She was pretty sue that no one would cross them, or at least she hoped so.
"You have a beautiful smile Linos." she told him softly. She stopped tracing on his arm and lifted the hand to brush against his dark hair. It was so soft. I could touch it forever. she thought.
She kept playing with his hair as he told her about the trip. "So its a treasure hunt of sorts? Where did you find the first scroll? And how long will that be? I will need to arrange for the trip if I am to accompany you, and find a way to get Uncle to let me go with you. He dislikes boats so." she said softly.
She blinked at hearing that Thalia was returned home. She was happy to hear that and could not wait to see her long time friend, but there was time to talk of it later. Daniil was on a mission and quest of her own and with the help of Lady Aphrodite, she would succeed in this mission.
Out of nowhere the wind picked up and began to blow. The hair not kept in place by the plait blew loose and into her face. Her heart stopped as Linos reached out and stroked her cheek and softly stroked her skin as he brushed the strands out of the way. Her eyes closed reflexively at his touch and her heart began to beat quickly, like a bird struggling to fly. Slowly her breathing started moving in flow with her heartbeat ant it began to heat up around her.
"Mmmmm." she purred out softly. "Don't stop Linos." Her eyes opened and his expression was all it took for her to decide then and thee that it was time an she leaned in to kiss him. Gently at first, as if she were testing the waters, and then slowly with more demand. She would walk away from this meeting knowing that he was totally and utterly hers. Come what may they would do it together. As one.
Uncle Rafi can like it or not. I care not at this moment. This is our time and our path. she thought as she kept kissing him an her hands slowly worked their way through his hair.

Daniil was warm. Linos felt her warmth as he looped his thumb around her hair, feeling her touch against his arm, ever so still. It was heavenly. The sound of the soft breeze through the trees and rolling waves beneath put him at ease. It was so quiet, so far away from others. Just them. He sat there, still frozen by nerves. Was it really time? Was it okay? Should he... He slowly started to lean in, then stopped, nervous for the repercussions. However, her soft voice echoed through his head.
"Don't stop, Linos."
There wasn't even enough time for him to comply as he saw her getting ever so close to his face. His heart stopped in place. Every second felt like a year until he felt her soft lips placed onto his. It was a delicate kiss, patient and kind. He felt himself melt into her as he felt his eyes become heavy and slowly close, moving his hand from behind her ear to around her head, in her hair.
It was magical. It felt as if there was a fire spreading from his mouth all the way through his body, keeping him warm. The breeze felt cool against his skin which was burning from having been kissed. He was surprised this was even happening to him. He felt his heart pound so hard in his chest that he was sure it would escape.
Soon, he felt the kiss deepen and he was unsure of how to proceed, so he just followed suit to her lead. His hand moved from her hair, trailing down her neck and rested on her shoulder so he could keep a soft grip not only on her, but himself. He attempted to breathe through his nose, but with everything in his body intensifying, he felt himself struggling for oxygen and he slowly parted himself from their kiss, panting for air.
By this time, his face had turned completely red, his blush deeper than it had ever been before. He looked at her, only wanting to go back in for more, but he looked at her. "You're beautiful." It was a simple sentence stated through a breathy smile, but he meant it. He saw Daniil as not only beautiful in looks, but she had such a wonderful personality as well. The fact that she listened to him and didn't judge him only made her more attractive in his eyes.
It was then that he gasped for air before leaning in once more, this time placing his lips against hers. He moved her hand that he was holding to intertwine their fingers and slowly brought his hand that was on her should down her her arm. He sipped on her lips, taking his time to build up to a deeper kiss. As he became more passionate, he brought himself closer to her, wanting to be as close as he could. He wanted to feel her body against his, her skin against his, her pulse against his. In doing so, however, he had accidentally pushed himself too far, losing his balance, falling forward into her, only catching himself with his forearms against the cloth beneath them. As the fall had broken the kiss, he blushed, and let out an awkward chuckle. In a whisper he said, "Aha... I'm sorry about that..." He paused a second, thinking he should get up, but looked at her lying against the cloth. The sun made her eyes sparkle at this angle. His heart pounded harder and faster as he pulled, once more, strands of hair out of her face. "You look so lovely like this." He knew that it was only the light reflecting in certain ways that made her eyes shine in such a way, but it didn't matter. Shining light never looked so perfect.

Daniil blinked a bit of surprise at his hesitation. It had to be nerves. Her own slowly began to register. What if you ask Uncle Rafi to consider Linos and he says no? If you follow what you feel and you end up no longer being the chaste maiden that your elders believe you to be? What if you end up with a child? Can you handle all that? the ideas were floating around in her mind like the wind when it would pick up the fallen leaves in a storm.
If she gave in to what she was feeling there would be consequences, one of which likely, was having either Pavlos or Rafail, flaying her alive for her behavior, though she was betting on that coming from her father more then her uncle.
She was not even sure how long the kiss lasted once it started. Her hands played like snakes in Linos hair and then move down to trace designs at the nape of his neck. She felt his hands in her hair, the plait loosening as he did so, and then follow a similar trail down her neck. She shivered in response at how light his touch was on her, even though the fabric of her gown. There was no denying that it did not feel good, It felt like heaven.
Slowly she pulled back and broke the kiss, her heart beating like a drum during a dance and her breath coming out in quick little puffs. Her hazel eyes trailed over his face as the wind brushed against her skin. It was cool against the heat on her face.
She smiled slowly. and then her eyes slowly slid closed as he moved to kiss her again. She felt him intertwining their fingers of one hand and his other hand moved down her arm sending move shivers through her nerves. As the kiss deepened she felt him shit his body to close the space between them.
Surprise slammed into her as he lost his balance, though he did not immediately break the kiss. The fall did that as well as he pain that went through her from the moment that her back hit the ground. She took a breath or two and watched him. She noticed that his face was red, likely with embaressment. His voice when he spoke was soft, almost as if he did not want to break the magic of the moment. She took that moment to look around and smiled though her back was still protesting.
Her breathing slowly began to come back to normal as she heard him apologize. She made no attempts to get up. Instead she looked at his face and enjoyed his expression and the blushing. He did a good deal of that. she mused as she shifted her head so that the sun was not shining in her eyes."Its alright. she said softly.
She could hear either his heartbeat, or was that hers, that sounded like a massive drum being beat on. She watched him, unable to move, as he reached down to brush hair strands out of her eyes. As his words, now was her time to blush and she did so deeply. Only one other man had ever called her beautiful. A pang of guilt moved through her as thoughts of her times with Balius danced through her mind and then they were gone just as quickly.
She blushed at his compliment and then she whispered. "Thank You." she whispered.

Linos could feel his body temperature rising higher than the heat of the summer's afternoon. The sun could not hold competition to how much the warmth the moment was giving him. He licked his lips once over, pining to feel hers once more. She was so ravishing that he just couldn't find himself anymore. The thoughts that usually captivated had all been scraped aside, as shovel to snow. One distinct thing had latched into his once clear, pensive head. One intriguing, compelling individual pushed all that to the side. An arduous feat in itself, this person was able to take years, over a decade's worth of constant thought and intellectual stimulation and push it all aside. And this person was Daniil.
Feeling the thumping of his heart resonating throughout his person, Linos brought himself closer to her, laying a kiss upon her cheek. In this moment, he wasn't rational. He wasn't pensive. He wasn't introspective. The usual calm, collected demeanor the philosopher had was lost in Daniil. However, one emotion remained constant through his character. This emotion traced through his life, like a ribbon tying all his ideas, thoughts, interests, and academic pursuits together. This emotion pushed him through his life, kept him wanting more and motivated him to work through all the complications and hardships difficult ideas proved to be. What was this magical, empowering emotion?
Passion.
And oh so greatly did Linos feel a substantial amount of passion in this moment for Daniil and her alone. Running his hand that once was upon her head down the side of her svelte figure, ending at her waist, he felt the same titillating fever that came when he was in a rush to write down his next revelation. His lips traced their way to her mouth, kissing her fervidly. His stomach filled with fire and his chest drummed at an allegro tempo, building up to a crescendo that he was surprised not all of Athenia could hear as his pulse pounded in his ears. It was overwhelmingly enticing; the feeling drew him like a moth to flame. He never lost his composure so severely before, but with Daniil it felt right. No. It felt perfect.
Parting from their passionate kiss, Linos sucked in the sweet air from around them, feeling the contrast of the cool air against his warm body. As his eyes returned to Daniil, they lacked fixation and instead trailed from her lovely visage downward toward her body. A whole new feeling began to seep into his bones, joining the familiar passion. The feeling was curious, creeping in slowly, but surely. Hunger was the best way for him to describe it, but it was almost something more. Melting into his consciousness, the craving for more became immediately apparent to him. With such realization, he felt his hand placed firmly on her waist almost begging him to lower it. He glanced back to her eyes, speaking in a soft whisper, "Daniil..."
Tracing his thumb up and down softly on her waist, Linos placed another soft kiss upon her lips, parting from it shortly. Soon, the thumb that was once gracing softly against the fabric of her chiton was now playing with it's cord that tied the cloth in place. All reason out the window at this point, the scholar gazed at her again, "May I?"

Daniil smiled a soft smile at Linos as she watched him. I wonder if the heat is getting to him as well. I wonder what he is thinking? she wondered silently. What she did know was that it was hot, be it from the heat of the day or from what they were doing. It didn't bother her that they were in the open and could be seen in pubic. She was pretty sure that her Uncle had landed in similar situation at some point of his life. One could not gain wisdom in their lives without first doing something stupid. She was quite sure that he would never admit to doing something stupid, even within the confines of the family, but Daniil was sure that he had. That doesn't mean that he won't tear into you if he finds out what you two are on the verge of doing. she told herself.
"So you have me flat on my back. What do you have in mind?' she asked Linos as she kept her eyes trained on his face. She sucked in little gasps of air, her heart raging like a storm in her own chest. Her eyes slid closed as he placed a kiss on her cheek and then she let out a soft sigh. That sigh turned into a soft moan as his hand rand down from her head in a slow crawl down her body to her waist.
A small shiver rippled through her body when his hand came to a stop and then he began kissing his way to her lips. The kisses he placed were not of the gentle kind. They were full of passion, want, and need. Another moan ripped out of her, this time louder as she joined with the passion, want, and need that was burning now equally within her. She returned his kiss in the manner in which it was given to her. Her arms slowly wrapped themselves around his neck and her nails began working in little scathing patterns on his neck.
Once their lips parted Daniil sucked in air and lots of it . She could hear the common noises form the birds and the ocean and nearly burst out laughing. Her gaze shifted from him to the canopy of leaves above them and then back to him, her heart beating like a raging storm and her breath coming out in gasps that matched.
At the sound of her voice she blinked as a shiver ripped through her being. Pure desire . Oh Divine Aphrodite! she cried silently in both a prayer and a plead. She gave back the soft kiss that Linos gave her and kept her eyes locked on his face. She blinked and then slowly nodded. "I need to know that you are ready to deal with any circumstances that we may have to face after this." she said softly.

"I need to know that you are ready to deal with any circumstances that we may have to face after this." she said softly.
A stuttering breath passed his lips as Linos gripped at the cord of her clothing. Her words rang in his ears. What were his plans? Was he prepared to deal with the circumstances of such plans? Usually when making choices that had harsh consequences, Linos would ruminate for hours and hours, deciding on the perfect decision with incredible amounts of care. Yet, in the moment, reason and logic were nowhere to be found. It was all emotion, all desire, all passion. Nothing else clouded his thoughts. He closed his eyes, knowing he had to give a response. He struggled to think. What did he want? What were the repercussions? Why couldn't he think?
The answer to the first question wasn't quite clear, but he could at least manage an answer, "I want you..." It was a soft answer, vague yet also clear of his intentions. He didn't have an exact answer. He had never been in this position before. He didn't know exactly what he wanted out of this, but whatever it was, he wanted it. His head wanted it, his body wanted it, but most importantly: his heart wanted it. In fact, it pounded with a fury for it. "I want to share this with you." His voice was soft as he kissed her softly once again.
As he parted from the kiss, he began to think of her second question: repercussions, consequences... He knew of them... However, it was blurry. It felt as if they were so far away, as if they wouldn't happen. Usually, he'd be able to place himself in a state of mind where he could meticulously analyze them and strategize plans to reduce the amount of hurt. But now... When he was overwhelmed with her eyes, lips, and body? Hearing her voice even made his head spin. It was difficult to concentrate on such a question. Was he able to deal with what could come from this? He exhaled, looking at her. He cared about her. He at least knew that. He wanted to do this, with her. His eyes gazed into her eyes. He knew things could go wrong... But...
"If anything goes wrong, I'll figure out a solution... I promise you that," his voice was soft, sweet. He, even in an entranced state, meant what he said. He couldn't imagine just abandoning her if any problem turned up. He would do anything to find a way to make things right... He would think about it, ruminate about it until he had the proper answer to their problem. He would do it for her. He would do it for them.
With these questions past them, Linos's eyes grazed over her once more, landing on his hand. It was still firmly wrapped around the end of the cord. His stomach tickled with excitement, as he slowly pulled the cord, loosening it. Heart pounding, he pulled it away, seeing the loose fabric over her. This was happening... He never imagined the day... He looked back at her eyes, his face completely red. He was frozen in anticipation, knowing what was to happen next. He gave her a soft smile, a little nervous, but extremely compelled to continue.
He slowly moved the hand that hand undone her cord to the fabric still wrapped around her. Softly, he carefully slid his hand beneath the cloth, feeling her bare skin. His heart leaped in his chest and his mind filled with static. She was so warm, so soft... The intimacy of the moment drew his emotions even closer to her, he wanted her. He wanted to be one with her... This had to be love... Right? He slowly undid the pins on that held the cloth in place before he eventually unwrapped the it, sliding it flat beside her. As his eyes finally processed what he was looking at, he felt a thrill run down his back. Her ever so soft and warm body was, in his mind, flawless. He paused, just looking from her chest down to her thighs, slowly taking it in. After a few seconds he whispered through heavy breaths, "Breathtaking..."
Curious as ever, he slowly moved his hand across her side, gracing it ever so softly over her rib cage, and hesitated for a second before sliding it over her breast, slightly grasping it. His hair stood on end, as he looked at her eyes, a little unsure, but enjoying every second. His hand still softly upon her bust, he leaned in and kissed her once more, completely immersed in her. He almost instinctively squeezed at the breast in his hand. He then slowly parted from the kiss, speaking quietly, "That didn't hurt, did it?" The last thing he wanted was for her to feel pain because he was getting carried away. He blinked, again looking into her hazel eyes. "It's a bit embarrassing... But I will admit I've never done anything to the likes of this before... His voice trailed off as he gave her a kiss on her cheek and then whispered ever so softly in her ear, "But with you, this moment feels so amazing..."

Her hazel eyes were trained on his face as she waited for an answer to her question and the fire of desire raged though her being. Her heart raced and her breath came in short puffs due to the mix of need and anticipation. She could barely hear the birds or the waves and was only focused on Linos. The fact that they were in public where anyone could walk and see this sight did not even register at the moment. Neither did it register that the men of her house would likely be spitting blood and have smoke coming out of their ears if they knew. There was no logic when it came to what was about to happen, or to emotions. Just claim insanity. a voice in the dark recesses of her mind said. She ignored it.
His words made her blink. Ah lust was an amazing thing and it was also one hell of a drug if you had no experience, and that summed it up right now. That far away voice spoke in her head again. He hasn't answered your question. A silent snort was her answer. One did not to be a great thinker to know that, but she was getting to the point that she was pretty sue that she did not care. Do hush! was her reply to that part of herself that insisted in shoving doubts into her head at the very last moment.
She returned the kiss just as he gave it as the emotion washed over her again, but this time it was like a storm she could see from the distance and she no longer cared what happened.
As the kiss ended and he pulled back, she watched him. She noticed how the wind ruffled his dark hair. With a sigh she reached up to brush his locks with her hand as she watched him and waited for his next move or words. She was pretty sure that voice was still in her mind, way back there, but she was in no mood to hear it..... yet.
His next words should have caused a bolt of panic to shoot through her, and maybe it did and she just did not notice because she felt too good or she was purposely ignoring it. In her current state of mind and body, they were the same thing. She just watched him silently, her hand dancing in his hair. That little voice in the back of her mind said hotly He better because it won't be pretty. No one has a temper that is anywhere near what the combined one of House Marikas when they were united in rage.
Daniil ignored it and her eyes shifted from Linos to the cord. She felt it move as he pulled on it. It was like a new form of torture as he pulled it. She closed her eyes briefly and then sucked in more air. Then she felt it give way and she noticed his red face. Well now, what is this? You're blushing. Are you embarrassed or is it something else> she wondered in amusement as she watched him. She smiled at him slowly and waited, her hand still playing with his hair like one would pet a cat or a dog.
Her eyes slid shut of their own accord as his hand slid under the loosed fabric and over bare skin. A small shiver worked its way from, she thought, the roots of her hair and danced its way down her being. His hand was chilly on her heated skin. And it was her turn to blush when he said that one word between panted breaths.
Another shiver worked its way over her body as his hand traveled over her skin and coming to a stop on one of her breasts. She couldn't help but let out a soft moan as he gave it a squeeze and then he kissed her.
When they came up for air it took a few moment for his question to register. She licked her lips and was surprised to find that she could not speak above a whisper. "No. It felt good."
She smiled again, her hand moving to trail idly down his arm. "Neither have I." sh.e confessed. Her hand slid into the one of his nearest to it and intertwined their fingers as he kissed her on the cheek. She blushed and smiled at him again. "Yes it does with you too." she said in a whisper.

Being affirmed that not only did his actions not harm her, but actually caused her pleasure, Linos felt a soft smile tug on his face. With slow movements, he leaned in and kissed her lips, keeping one hand upon her chest and the other intertwined with hers. Steam poured through his pores, blood pumping through his body, pounding his pulse into his ears. It was as if every part of him was starting to wake, feeling more sensitive to every breath that left her mouth and graced his face. Every small touch she made only increased his desire.
It never even crossed Linos's mind that they were outside where some poor soul could travel upon them. However, they were in a more secluded area, it was probably nothing to be too worried about... Well, he didn't know for sure. His mind escaped his head, drifting among the clouds. If words were to appear in front of him now, he was sure he wouldn't be able to read them. Daniil intoxicated him to the point of illiteracy. He was entirely focused on her, deepening their kiss as he softly pressed his palm against her breast, moving it around in a circular motion.
Breaking from the kiss, he gasped for air, his eyes opening to look into hers. It was exhilarating, this feeling was like nothing he had ever experienced before. Pure ecstasy. As he looked at her, he couldn't help but grin. He felt ever so attracted to her, like he never wanted to experience this with anyone else. His breath was warm as words left his lips, "I never believed I'd spend time like this with somebody so lovely inside and out..." His voice trailed off, his thumb tracing over her nipple.
With that, his eyes moved from her face down her body again. Ever so curious, even in a moment such as this, Linos looked at her other breast, still softly playing with the other. He didn't really want to let go of her hand. Holding it was one of the best feelings in the world. It was then an idea crept into his mind. He looked at her eyes once more, smiling almost knowingly. It was a curious look for the curious exploration he was about to partake. But first, he landed a light peck on her lips, then began to slowly make his way down, littering her neck and chest with the small kisses, almost feather-like. Slowly, but ever so surely, he made it to her other breast, landing a light peck on her nipple, before pausing. Hesitantly, he glanced at her, uncertainty in his eyes before glancing back. He exhaled softly, his whole body feeling the tension of anticipation that only increased as they continued.
Softly, at first, he planted a full kiss upon her breast. He still worked at the other one with his hand, slowly and patiently, as he was in other activities, taking his time and ensuring she was alright. He was overwhelmed by how close he felt to her, almost as if they were pieces to a puzzle and they completed one another. Or as if he were a question, and she an answer. Just perfectly together. He wanted to feel this way forever. Always be next to her, with her, around her... He craved not only her body but her thoughts, her speech, her presence... He wanted it all.
As he came up for air, he felt the heat of his body becoming unbearable. He glanced down at her and then himself. Linos blushed once more, his whole body's senses heightened and stimulated. "I suppose this is a bit unfair if I'm still clothed." Moving his hands away from where they were, he fumbled around with his beige colored cord, undoing it. The scholar preferred to wear plain colors, allowing less attention to be brought to himself. However, he now wished to be of attention, all of Daniil's attention. What a curious feeling to want to be desired instead of hiding off to the side... He then pulled off his white chiton, slowly, revealing himself. He then held her hand once more, blushing a deep red, "How's this? Better?"

He then held her hand once more, blushing a deep red, "How's this? Better?"
Daniil let out a soft sigh as she watched Linos' face. a slow smile of her own crossed her face as he smiled down at her. She gave the kiss back as gently as it was given. outwardly at this moment, she was a study in calm. Inside it was a totally diferent story and she knew that it was only a matter of time before the disquiet she was beginning to feel broke loose and she lost the control that she was fighting so hard to keep in place.
Her eyes moved from his face to look up. She could see wisps of clouds slowly making their way across the bright blue sky. the wind was still blowing and she could feel its fingers running over her skin and that caused shivers to work over her body. He, she noticed, was still fully clothed and that left her with questions about his intentions. She heard the seagull's scream and she questioned if its cry was one talking to another or if they were hunting for their meal in the waters below.
She shivered again as the voice in the recesses of her mind made its presence known. At least he had the good graces to shiled you behind a good size rock, but that is not going to do you well at all if someone comes in the area and they find you. You'll be begging for more then just mercy if you're found and word gets back to your family.
The thought of her father, grandfather, uncle, and sister going all harpy on Linos or herself scared the daylights out of her and the shivers that worked their way down her back at intervals turned into full on trembling that went from head to foot.
She watched him as he broke the kiss. Then he spoke and she shivered again on top of the trembling, thanks to how he was touching her. she went to say something but found that her mouth as utterly and totally a giant cotton ball.
She closed her eyes after she saw him begin looking over her exposed form. He was still holding onto her hand with one hand. She could still feel their fingers interlaced. She felt him looking at her and her eyes slowly opened. She met his gaze and then he smiled at her again. She could see the curiosity. It was etched in his expression.
She gulped for air. His lips landed on hers again in a feather-like kiss and then those super soft kisses found a path to go from there to her breast and then moved to her nipple. The skin was super sensitive and even though she did not want her body to react, and she willed it to not, it betrayed her and took on a life of its own. She wanted to scream at this betrayal.
She didn't try to stop him as he feathered kisses over his body. Her mind was beginning to run in fear though her body was totally acting in the opposite. When he came up for air from the last kiss she closed her eyes, sucked in air, and licked her lips. Then she felt it, Cotton mouth.
The area suddenly went frigid and Daniil was not sure if it was the breeze or it was the sudden fear that grabbed her in a near choke hold as Linos announced that it was unfair that he was still in is clothes and then moved off to discard them. The shaking increased as there was space between them. Despite the shaking, curiosity made her watch him undress from under her long lashes. She felt like she was headed for an overload, like something about to explode.
She watched him blush a deep red, but she couldn't bring herself to speak. She was frozen in place.

She felt like she was headed for an overload, like something about to explode.
She watched him blush a deep red, but she couldn't bring herself to speak. She was frozen in place.
Heart racing faster than it had ever before, Linos felt every cell in his being electrified. The wind blew at his hair as his eye trailed over her beautiful body once more. The sun warmed his bare back as he was still over her, his hands off to the side on the ground. In all honesty, he could sit here forever, just looking at her. Yet, for some reason, the fire in his heart begged for more. Emotions still stirred in his head, like a melting pot of thought. Everything was turning into everything. He couldn't think straight, only act.
He wanted her, desperately. It was as if he were starving for something he had never tasted before. It was exciting, yet frightening. But, he wanted to go for it anyway. It was almost instinctual. His body knew what he wanted before his mind did. It was craving, stirring, melting, melding, twisting, turning... Everything in his mind went blank, but it also was colorful. It was everything and nothing, but whatever it was it made his head race with her. Daniil. It was overwhelmingly perfect. Something he'd want to get drunk on over and over again.
Linos smiled at her, a bit crooked but sweet all the same before moving his hand to her arm. As soon as his hand touched her skin, it felt... rigid, tense. This cut through his intoxicated state, completely sobering him. His eyes instantly darted toward her face, his own full of only concern and worry. He paused, looking at her eyes, words becoming hard to grasp. He suddenly felt cold, the breeze blowing against his bare skin as he just looked at her, thinking. He became rigid himself. She felt... scared. His heart sunk in his chest. Was he... harming her? He could never, ever forgive himself if he had hurt her. Frozen in place, he opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He could feel every beat his heart made, yet this time out of fear that he was currently hurting her. He closed his mouth, thinking once more of what to say, but he felt incredibly guilty and embarrassed. He glanced at the cloth that once made her chiton, discarded beneath her. He moved to grab it, pulling it over her body before even thinking of himself.
Finally, he licked his lips and spoke, "Are... Are you alright?" He felt his head spin in worry and fear. He never wanted to bring any sort of pain on anyone. As a pacifist, he could never do something like that. Had he gotten carried away? Was she scared of him? His lip began to quiver as he thought these things. Was he... something to be feared? Something that brought pain and misery to others?
"I-" He paused, feeling like he could crumble at any second. "I'm terribly sorry... Have I..." He paused again, the words feeling like thousand-ton weights he bore upon his shoulders, "Have I harmed you?" He instantly rolled off her, sitting to her right, pulling his chiton over his crotch. Several seconds passed where Linos closed his eyes, just thinking of what he had done. Surely, he should have been thinking. Why was it so damn hard to think? It felt so overwhelming, how did he allow himself to get so carried away by emotions? His eyes fluttered open, looking at the tree that was near them.
Linos dropped his head, speaking ever so softly, "Daniil..." He didn't know if she even wanted to hear him speak ever again. Perhaps he was a monster. He cursed himself in his head, wishing he was better. She was... something special. He didn't quite know why he even wanted to do such things with her when he never really felt that way with others before, but it was definitely something he would need to keep in control. "I cannot express how apologetic I am. I don't know what came over me... But it's no excuse. I'm completely ashamed. I hope you can somehow forgive me." He felt so guilty that he could fall over and die right now.
Linos felt the hot, burning sensation of tears welling up in his eyes, but he blinked down hard, forcing them to stay at bay. He shouldn't be the one crying. He was the one who caused the harm after all, but he couldn't help the overwhelming emotions this all caused. He stuttered in a breath, the cool air betraying his now dry throat. He quickly looked down, grabbing his chiton, quickly reclothing himself, tying his cord back around his waist, holding it in place. It was sloppy work, but it was quick. And soon enough, he was clothed, everything covered. After taking a deep breath, he turned to face her again, thinking it was only right. He needed to face the problems he caused. However, seeing her, in all her beauty, made him feel even worse for what he did. He blushed a deep red, trying to keep himself calm, and not crying. Please don't cry. *Please* don't cry. How was it that he was so usually calm and collected, but around her, his emotions spun a web that he struggled to unweave? As he looked upon her, he bit his quivering lip, hoping for the best.

Daniil watched Linos from under her long lashes. Her hazel eyes moved over his exposed skin from head to as far down as she could see from her reclining position. His expression spoke volumes to her. The way he was above her, he blocked out the sun and shielded her from the wind, which she had to fight not to pout but then the a the wind showed that Linos was not a barrier that was hard for it to get around. The Gods can get around anything that they see as a barrier. she reminds herself with a soft mental chuckle. She licked her lips slowly as her hazel eyes trained on his face.
She watched him. Her breathing came out in puffs mostly due to the mix of fear and anticipation. She was not goring to ever deny that she was not curious about what it was like to be with a man but she also feared the men in her household. The Marikas temper was legendary and it rarely died as fast as it was ignited. As the youngest of the threesome she was not so sure that there would not be rage from the women in the household if she came to harm. She shivered at the idea. This is why you want to think carefully about your actions. she reminded herself.
She questioned what he was feeling silently. Was it the same as what she felt? If not, then why? The voice in the back of her mind reminded herself that he never asked her the question really, he gave you an answer but you question it because it was not a clear cut one. You wanted him to give you details. Is he really aware of what could and likely would happen if you got pregnant? Are you prepared for the sacrifice that would come if that happened? I think you are not. You fear that possibility.[/I] she couldn’t deny it. She was afraid of the fallout and the consequences that could appear.
It’s not like you came to this meeting with the intent of this happening. she reminded herself though that would be seen as a weak for the fact that she made no attempt to stop it. If she did not want to face the consequences that she feared then she needed to call a halt and soon. She nearly melted when he gave her that sweet yet crooked smile of his. She was tense thanks to the whirlwind that was running around in her head. She felt his hand on her skin and she studied her face.
She watched him do his best impression of a fish in a net moments later and realized that she had brought him down to earth and she did it with a crash. She didn’t move. She couldn’t. She sucked in a breath as he pulled the fabric of her chiton over her naked form. It took time for him to speak.
”I will be. I’m sorry.” she said softly, closing her eyes for a moment to collect herself and her thoughts. Once she felt that she was in control of herself, she opened her eyes and once he moved she moved to sit up. Carefully she got to her feet and with deft fingers fixed her chiton. Remove the temptation and you can actually talk. Make him hear you. Make him understand.
Hearing his next question she sat down again and said softly ”No Linos, no you haven’t.”[/I] she assured him as she laid a hand on his arm. ”Stop apologizing. And you also need to forgive me if you are asking it of me. I forgive you. We are both at fault and what stopped me was fear, but not of you.”
She took a breath and then said ”I am not sure either of us are ready for this or the possible consequences that could come out of our actions.”

Why was she telling him to be less apologetic? He closed his eyes, body rigid and completely out of it. Having a vow of pacifism, harming somebody was the worst he could do. Perhaps it would be considered an accident, but hardly. He might not have planned for this when he first came here, but he knew that he should have stopped himself. He should have pulled away when her lips pressed onto his instead of leaning into it. He should have thought about what he was doing. But, for some reason, he couldn't completely regret what happened. And that made him feel worse. He liked the kissing. He liked the touching. He loved seeing her naked form. He couldn't completely regret it. And he felt guilty for that. It could have led to so much harm, so much pain that he could set upon her. And that scared him.
Finally feeling her hand on his arm, he felt his heart melt. It was comforting, soothing away his fear slowly, but surely. She explained that she was also to blame. He carefully listened to her, the dizziness of his head slowly starting to begin to be lulled back to calm and thoughtful again. It was amazing that she was able to have such an effect on him... Truly remarkable. He unconsciously leaned toward her, thinking. Was it really both, equally their fault? She mentioned that she wasn't afraid of him... Then what was she scared of? He was only afraid of hurting her. That was his main fear. He wanted to make her happy, as well. If something was scaring her, he was happy to have immediately stopped. More than happy. Doing things to people despite their fear was never a good thing.
When she gave an explanation for her fear, he realized what she meant. One of the consequences of following through with what they were up to was pregnancy. Why he couldn't think straight during all of that, he didn't know. But, was he ready to be a father? No, of course not. He wasn't married. He wasn't emotionally ready for something like that either. They needed to be careful. He needed to think more. It was strange. Thinking wasn't usually ever an issue with Linos. But, when they were all caught up in that, it was as if all logic and reason went out the window. He was so engrossed in her. It felt amazing, but all the same, it was risky. If he had impregnated her, he knew not of what he would have done. Of course, he would stand by her, but where would they go? What would they do? They would have figured something out, but it wouldn't have been pretty, that was for sure.
"You're right... We aren't prepared for something like that," he dared to take a glance at her, heart beating. He then felt a surge of guilt spread through his body. He exhaled slowly, "I guess I feel bad since I did enjoy it... Well, until I noticed you were scared..." He blushed deeply. Admitting something like that was embarrassing, but he felt safe to speak freely around Daniil.
"I er- especially liked the kissing." He gave her a sheepish smile, looking into her beautiful eyes.

She could see it in his expression and his body language. Linos blamed himself for the events and how she currently felt. It did not originally start out on the path it took, but it did and they were both to blame. She could have stopped it but didn’t, that was until her brain woke up and the panic slammed into her like a rockfall. Did she regret what happened? No. At least she was able to experience some things with him. She just wished he would have chosen a better location, because despite being behind a rock, they could still be seen and heard by passerby's. Gods! The storm that would come if any of this met the ears of the Marikas men!
She kept her hand on his arm. ”If we would have gone through with this and it got back to the men of the House, namely my Father, the consequences wold not be pleasant. I am still royal born, a princess. Father could disown me over this, and I am not so sure that you would not face reprisals yourself.” she told him gently. ”Despite how we feel about each other, I have a duty to my House and family.”
She smiled at him. ”So did I. I cannot say their will not be fallout if its discovered that I have feelings for you, and I will not lie if I am asked.” she told him gently. At the mention of the kissing she blushed and busied herself with fixing her gown.
He did not see the pain she kept inside as she moved. Once her dress was fixed she took a breath and headed home hoping to not loose it before she got within the walls and into her own room.
