Lady Evangelina,
I wanted to make sure you received this letter before my father and I began our return trip back to Athenia.
I can not express enough how glad I am that my letter has made such an impact on your day. I hope there will be many more days to come that you will find letters addressed to you from this guy you helped find a horse.
The name I have decided on for the mare is Thýella. While your winds in Taengea were far more pleasant than a tempest, I am quite reminded of Taengea’s fresh air and strong winds blowing the grasses of the plains and rustling trees when I think upon the kingdom. I look forward to seeing how she fares on the trip, but she is magnificent. I could not have asked for a better horse to claim.
You as well, will have to keep me informed as to the latest news from Taengea with your family and the general goings-on around the kingdom. I would have you skip no detail, as is only fair should I write to you of my uneventful life in Athenia.
My apologies should probably be given upfront, but you will likely need to get used to receiving letters; I expect I will send them frequently.
Hopefully you won’t get annoyed?
Dysmas of Nikolaos
