Zanon,

I had hoped to deal with this matter prior to my departure from Colchis but time has not been my friend.

While I cannot impart all details to you - at least, not at this time - I leave our home with this message to you. Be careful of the trust you place in Valaoritis. Once true and honourable to our banner, this House has become unstable.

You have no need to fear of their business, finances or the completion of the barony duties expected of them. Nor, I think, of their loyalty in the Senate. But I caution you to not take any of Valaoritis blood into your personal confidences. Our secrets, thoughts and plans are not to be shared with them until I can return home and address this matter.

Be cautious if you are to see or hear any of our siblings looking to the House for their own counsel or aid.

This matter may be easily resolved when I am back on Colchian soil but it also could not. As such, I equip you with this knowledge so that the defensive walls of our family remain strong, until I can return to Colchian soil and resolve this matter.

I have received word that Lord Gavriil of Dimitrou has been minorly injured in a storm that ravaged Chaoedia last week and is now unable to entertain royal guests. As such, I have taken Lord Fotios of Leventi up on his offer of staying within an additional guest home that he has rented in the capitol for mine and our sister's arrival. It is there that you will be able to contact me. I shall enclose the address.
