Word by mouth was that Tridelta was holding a slamming fundraiser over at their sorority house with bouncy houses, kissing booths, party games, and beer; all for a good cause. It was no secret Alek loved helped others, and what better way than to go to a party with a few friends? Plus, there had to be some cute boys there, right? It seemed like a no-brainer to this med student that he had to go. After his usual work out, he got himself cleaned up, and headed on over, dawned in jeans and a t-shirt, paired with his favorite pair of doc martens and a leather jacket.
Now usually Alek wouldn't have time for things like parties, but this time was an exception, it was the weekend and with no upcoming exams, allowed him to have a night to himself— well sort of.
Buying a few tickets at the door, he looked around, hoping to see someone he knew and weaved past a group of girls in costume.

The way she studied his hand before she accepted it had Nic biting the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. The befuddled look on her beautiful young face, had him half worried there was something wrong with his extended hand, like perhaps he’d grown an extra finger or something. He managed not to check, since that was just silly.
In the three years he’d been attending AU, Nic had worked quite hard to leave the formalities he’d been raised with behind during the school year at least, and suddenly here he was kissing Dawn’s hand, a girl he had never laid eyes on before tonight. Flustered, Nic took the coward’s way out, and retreated, though still strangely compelled to look out for her, which was why he moved to where he could watch her, hopefully without seeming like a crazy stalker in the making.
From where he’d gone, he couldn't hear what she was saying to the other guy, but he would see if anything hinky were to occur. Sipping his beer and calling himself ten kinds of a fool, Nic watched Dawn as unobtrusively as he could. He'd sensed that she wasn't used to strong drink, or drinking at all, since two beers seemed to have made her quite chatty, even though when he'd first spoke to her, she'd been much quieter, leading him to the beer rather than trying to speak.
