The northern provinces of Roma are claimed mostly by the Viatrix and Netuno family. They lands to the very north are on constant watch for invasion from the barbarians of Valland, whilst the coastal port cities to the north-east enjoy affluent trade by both land and sea. Many of the cities in the northern provinces are devoted to martial power or academic achievement and the landscape is highly diverse, from mountains to rivers, lakes and open meadows.
