Sector VII is defined by its functional yet lively atmosphere. Narrow streets wind between homes of modest stone and clay that line the city in practical simplicity, unadorned but sturdy. These homes are designed to withstand the ebb and flow of daily life rather than serve as symbols of power, for the people who live here are not the great men and women of noble houses but the regular workers that maintain the city. The wide squares are packed with market stalls as merchants hawk their goods: everything from fresh bread to pottery to textiles. If it can be made, then there is always someone to be found here who can make it, and the area's residents pride themselves greatly on such a thing.
