Celine knew that Maximus would have to leave soon. But she also knew she didn't want him to go without them at least having three or four more hours together. She decided that she might like to wander the agora leisurely for awhile.
As she walked, with him not far behind, Celine considered what he'd just said.
"I know. I don't want to leave you, either. And we won't be apart for long. But as much as I hate it, I'm going to have to stay behind for a little while- until the next round of ships get into port. I don't want to- the very idea...sets me on edge." It was the best way to describe how she was feeling about having to stay in Taengea while being more afraid of the memories it would no doubt bring back than for her actual physical safety in the present. "But I also don't want us to get discovered. I know what it might mean. And besides you being whipped or demoted, or worse, you might hate me forever if those things ended up happening, so I want to keep them from happening for as long as I can." There. Her one concern was out. "I do have old friends I can stay with, if you're wondering. But- but let's not think about it for now. For as long as we can, let's just be us."
She then blushed as she realized how that must sound. They hadn't realized they were mutually in love until now.
"And I never actually fell in love with anyone else. I was only curious about making love. I knew I might not be able to have you, regardless..." She bit her lip. Better not to think about that either- how it all could be for nothing, all because Max's father had big ambitions.
"But our passion is like Greek fire.Water can't put out Greek fire, you know that. We are Greek fire." Her eyes turned dark with sudden passion. It was strange how the metaphor of Greek fire alluded to their passion to her, when she was afraid of any kind of fire in the physical sense. She reached for his hand and linked arms with him.
"What I should have said was, let's be the new us. Max and Celine, but in love with each other. I'm ready for anything that might lead to. Are you?" she asked him with a grin. "I also suppose that as Max and Celine in love, this is our first date. Do you have any ideas as to what we could do?"
There was no need to say she would go with him anywhere.

Maximus lost track of time he was usually good at remembering it. Part of a soldier's duty was to always arrive ready and on time. Preparation was key to victory or a painful death but the young man spent most of his boat ride in a daze stunned at the actions Celine has done to him. It only got muddled even more when Maximus found Celine and confessed the feelings that he never knew he had for her. Combined with the fact that Maximus lost his virginity to Celine meant that Maximus lost any sense of time. He assumed that it was only a few hours before he had to get back to the ship.
More than anything, the young man wanted to focus clear his mind. It would be foolish for Celine to be in a warzone, as much as Maximus wanted Celine to give him emotional support it would irresponsible for him to have her around. What if anything bad happened to her while he wasn't there? What if the Egyptians ambushed the Colchian campsite and find Celine? Worse what if his superiors or his brothers found her?
Celine seemed to understand as she mentioned that she was going to stay in Tangea for a little while longer. Part of Maximus wanted to tell her to stay but of course, the words will not form.
“And I never actually fell in love with anyone else. I was only curious about making love. I knew I might not be able to have you, regardless...”
"Curious about making love?" the young man enjoyed Celine's soft arm linked around his. He adjusted his shoulder so she could lean against it. "I thought making love and being love are one in the same?"
Looks like Maximus had a lot to learn when It came to love. "Well Greek Fire also burns everything and anything it comes into contact with." he said. "It's beautiful to watch from afar but dangerous to when you come close."
The young man looked at the agora where festivals were being held. "Let's go to the Agora," he said kissing her on the forehead. "Maybe they have some activities for us."

Celine smiled a little sadly, knowing there was some truth to what Max said. It should be that way- having sex should equate to being in love, or at least you should respect the person you were doing it with enough to please them- but she knew people who hadn't found sex very pleasant at all. But she thought now wasn't the time to explain about that- why ruin even one minute of their last few hours together for awhile?
She caught his look, which seemed to be one of uncertainty, when she mentioned that she was going to stay in Taengea for a little while, but then move on to be with him, taking her time. She stopped for a moment and looked straight into his eyes.
"Don't try to dissuade me...please? I need this, and I think you know that you might need it too...we need each other, otherwise it's not fair, because we just realized we were in love the whole time, and confessed it just as you're going to war...." She could have started crying again, the way she had when it hit her that she was in Taengea again after nine years, but she didn't, even if her voice cracked. "If I hadn't been able to think of this plan, I'd probably have been convinced that the gods hated me- to confess our love on the very day you head off to war, when we would have had years together if we'd just realized before now..." She did have to admit that.
It was creepy for Celine to think that the gods might create someone just to take out their hate upon. It might be true- she'd heard stories- but it didn't mean she liked the idea in the slightest.
Celine had never considered his thought about comparing their relationship to Greek fire, though. Was he saying their relationship was dangerous? She startled a bit at that thought, then smiled. If it was, so be it.
Celine followed him through the agora, gazing leisurely at the scenery as they walked. Suddenly she stopped, then went closer to get a better look at something.
"What's going on over there? In the pools there? Looks like a contest," she observed. But what intrigued her more was that there seemed to be both men and women in this contest.

It seemed that Celine caught on what Maximus was thinking. "We are truly one now," Maximus thought when he felt her fresh breath. They needed each other yes but in a middle of a war? "I wish I can go back Celine," Maximus stopped as he played with Celine's golden earrings. "I wish I knew my feelings for you sooner. I just don't what happened why I'm remembering my love for you."
Especially now that he loves Nethis, only Maximus' love for Celine matches it probably exceeds it. Right now what matters is spending whatever time he had left with Celine, he couldn't focus on Nethis and who knows if his love for the Thanasi would fade away the more time they spend together. However deep down, Maximus knew it wouldn't be true. "It is dangerous though," Maximus said. "But if you insist, I'll respect your wishes."
There was no time to argue not when there was years of catching up to do. Maximus gave Celine a kiss on the cheek before escorting her to the event ahead. It seemed like the women were cheering the men but for what? "What's this event?" he asked Celine. She lived in Tangea for much of her childhood so she probably knew.

(OOC:this link says Adonia had no fixed date, so I'm improvising a bit, but there is precedent for doing so, though the festival was usually in late spring or midsummer)
Celine gasped pleasantly, putting her hand to her mouth, and grinning after a minute at their luck. "Adonia," she whispered. "I forgot. It must be late this year. The final few days of Adonia. It's a lover's pool! They have them only on the holidays which honor Aphrodite." She smiled. "Do you know what a lover's pool is? I never thought I'd be able to participate in one." Celine's thought was perhaps logical as most marriages were arranged, though she knew her father preferred differently in the circumstances of his children. Cassander and Andromache had had an arranged marriage, but due to the political and physical danger the fire had placed their family in later, he'd rather his children not meet their spouses on the day of their wedding, in hopes that he would know his daughters, in particular, would be well cared for in case something that threatened their lives should happen again. Still, even if they took a lover, it didn't mean the person would end up being someone they were married to.
She really was in awe at her and Maximus' good fortune. "I-I think it's a sign- somehow- that we'll be okay." Maybe even that they would end up together, though Celine didn't say it.
"A lover's pool is a contest between the men where they dive for objects thrown by their lovers. I don't remember much else- like what the winner gets. But even though I was so young- I hadn't even become a woman yet- I do remember how the lovers looked at each other afterwards." Celine had to admit there was something alluring to her about the idea of a naked man dripping from a dip in the pool. She She winked suggestively with a throaty laugh. "Do you want to join it? I could throw you my earrings!"

Maximus has only been to Tangea a few times in his life. Their relaxed nature was always strange to him. The way they live their lives, drinking and socializing without a care in the world was inconceivable to him. They were fat tubs of goo getting drunk off wine and singing bawdy songs and the touching the Gods the touching. What was it with Tangeans and their love of touching other people? It was something that Maximus wanted to ask Celine about but did not get the opportunity to do so. Thankfully Celine was the opposite of Tangeans: Studious, hard working and has not submitted to the lethargic nature of Tangea she was one of a kind.
"Adonia?" Maximus said approaching the small pool, he saw a man to his right strip off his clothing observing his lover remove her sandal and throw it into the water. She gave him a wink while he sprinted towards the pool, diving headfirst. Frowning, Maximus saw more men swimming up to the surface to take a breath before going back underwater. "I've never heard of this lover's pool," he said. "All this love stuff sounds.... tangean to me."
He didn't want to offend Celine, the way she talked about Tangea at times there was an air of nostalgia in her voice. However it was quickly replaced with fear and anxiety as she remembered the fires. "So It's a contest?" Maximus asked walking closer towards the pool. "A contest between lovers? That's strange why would any one just throw their items into a pool. Where's the significance behind it?"
There was always story behind everything though Maximus was a little turned off by the lover's pool he wondered what was the story behind this. "I-I guess," Maximus stammered when Celine asked he wanted to join in. She wasn't wearing any shoes so all she had was her earrings. "If you like I will join this contest and crush these soft, plump tangeans. I'll show them what Colchian can do!"
If there was one thing Colchians liked, it was competition. It made a person stronger and more focused and it was a fun exercise among soldiers. Wrestling tournaments and sword fights were announced daily in the barracks and Maximus won all of them. "So," the young man blushed. "Shall I kiss your hand for luck?"

Celine should have expected Max to be naive about sex considering his first time had been just hours ago,but she at least expected him to know something about how the little games and teases between lovers worked. Colchis was different than Taengea, though, and if Celine had been in Taengea only through her childhood, at least she had that much experience with Taengean customs. Still, she smiled. There were ways to make him understand why this contest was useful....
"I don't think you understand, my love," she whispered in his ear. "You see, to some people, there is no better way than a contest to prove yourself strong...and masculine...and therefore...desirable...as if you weren't already- but it is nice for one's lover to be reminded. But you see...it's not about the contest. In the end, it's about what happens after the contest. There's a reason lovers' pools are only done on holidays that celebrate the love goddess, Aphrodite. Shall I give you a preview?" Celine asked with a wink. She came close to kiss him- not quite with the ferocity she wanted to, but she was still recovering from the attack on her lungs. Then she slowly went from his lips to his chest, running her hands down to where his abs would be if not covered by clothing. "Let's just say, yes, you can kiss my hand for luck, and then later....one last time before you leave...I'll let you kiss more than my hand. And I think this time, there will be no danger of another lung attack. Though we'll have to go slowly since I'm still recovering. I won't be feeling as though someone could find us at any minute."
Though she did realize that in some ways that meant she was probably putting herself in danger of such an attack in Egypt- and more so since it was sandy there- but somehow that seemed different. Anything that happened to her in Egypt would be different because unless the absolute worst happened, Max would be there for the foreseeable future, when now they were supposed to be in Taengea for only hours more- even if he would probably have time to get back to his unit before being missed.

Maximus' mind was still a jumbled mess he was always teased by Celine and Basil for being "thick headed" something that confused Maximus. Just because he didn't get a certain innuendo doesn't mean he wasn't dense at least in his mind. Thankfully Celine toned down her usual sarcasm whenever there were terms that flew over Maximus' head in favored of whispered honey words that sent tingling sensations throughout Maximus' body. She explained how the contest was a test to see how willing a man would go for the woman he loves. For years, Maximus thought his father was just going to choose his bride and he'll have find a way to love her. He did not expect to be the one to choose who to love.
Maximus closed his eyes while Celine kissed his lips. It wasn't passionate as before he suspected that she was still recovering from her breathing problem. However this time Celine continued to pelt Maximus with kisses from his face to his neck while she slowly rubbing her hands around his armored stomach. The young man froze place, his feet rooted to the ground. He was told about the power a woman has over man, he thought he had the power to resist but Celine and Nethis proved him otherwise.

Maximus then grabbed Celine by the waist and kissed her on the lips passionately. He wanted to go slow but the rush of passion overtook his mind. Maximus wanted Celine, hungered for her, he kissed her so hard as though he wanted crawl into her soul and stay there. For a moment, that was Maximus desire. Against his body's wishes, Maximus pulled back from Celine grinning like he won the Olympics.
"I get It," he said. "It's a competition for your honor, I'll swim to the deepest waters and gather what I most desire. The young man immediately took off his armor and grieves and carefully placed his Kopis on to the ground. He was left naked feeling a shiver as the cold wind bristled against his bare skin.
"I pledge myself to you Celine of Acaris," he said. "I'll fight to the very end for your smile. Now let me crush these pot bellied Tangeans! Show them how Colchain will handle a simple like this."
Maximus felt like a new person, it was scary but at the same time exciting. The question was will it translate on to the battlefield? Will his love for Celine transform into something greater? Or will it serve as a distraction while he pines for her in the hot, sandy deserts of Egypt? Of course that's not accounting for the fact that Celine will be coming soon.

His kiss was perhaps even more passionate than when they'd kissed back in Colchis on his last day there. Celine began to feel like her body was going to melt with the heat of their passion. She grinned as hard as he seemed to when he got her meaning. Her cheeks hurt with the power of her smile, and then he undressed to get in the pool.
Gods, he was beautiful. Maybe even more so- in a different manner than the Greek standard of beauty- because he was of Bedoan descent and therefore had always seemed somewhat exotic to her.
"I love you so much. How strong and handsome you are!" She kissed him on the lips once more, then offered him her hand to kiss.
Unlike Max, Celine had no doubts about whether or not her love would make him fight harder for Colchis. She remembered the way he'd looked so sad at their first meeting when she'd asked him if he had any pets, and what she'd said about wondering how a person could fight when they had nothing they liked enough to want to keep safe. She still thought that was true, and now, as soon as she put enough distance between them to minimize her chance of discovery when she finally did catch up to him, they'd be together- in the evenings, anyway- making up for lost time.
"Just remember- I believe our being here at this very time- my forgetting about Adonia and then finding this contest- is a sign that we'll be okay. And next time I see you- in Egypt- we'll have three years to make up for, maybe longer if you count the time I didn't notice you loved me.. Fight for time to make up those years...in a safe Colchis... well, as safe as it ever was." Colchis appeared to be more focused on war than Taengea sometimes, and although Celine was more Colchian than Taengean in some ways, even from a young age(She would have agreed with Max's thoughts about the large amount of touching Taengeans did if he had shared them with her),the focus on war was something she never quite got used to, despite having the father she did. " Fight for that, and pray for it, both of those things, with your entire being, and maybe the gods will answer."
Then she smiled again, removing her earrings before tossing them into the pool.

“I love you so much. How strong and handsome you are!”
If Maximus' cheeks were any warmer they would be on fire. It was seldom that he was called handsome. Celine stared into his eyes and kissed him on the lips while the young man felt sweat form on his forehead. Maximus also felt something spring up down south which embarrassed him but he tried to ignore and hoped Celine didn't notice. It was bad enough Maximus was no longer maintaining discipline. A major part why he was going out with Celine was to refocus before the war, Maximus was a jumbled mess when the boat docked and was even worse when he confessed his love to Celine and slept with her.
He did feel at ease though it was different compared to the times that he stood at attention and focused on the task that his superiors gave him. Maximus had someone to fight for, it wasn't family nor his friends but a special person who was precious to him. Maximus wondered what it meant, would he fight ferociously or be a reckless menace? Either way Maximus felt different. "And you are a lovely and beautiful woman," Maximus smiled kissing her hand. "You feel so soft and sublime."
Maximus wasn't the poetic type, he was more into stories about far away lands or the deeds of great soldiers. They were more epic and often simpler in structure compared to the poems Celine would often recite to Maximus. Celine mentioned about making up for lost time: Three years she said. To Maximus it was nine years that he was in love with Celine. But why didn't he remember loving Celine? He certainly remembered loving Nethis and that love for her was still swimming around his mind orbiting it like a Fox around its prey.
He could still see Nethis in Celine, Maximus shook his head admiring her multicolored dress he bought for her along with her bare feet. When she went past him to throw her earrings into in pools, her exposed back was shown, tempting Maximus to tear her dress off. By Ares she looked pretty as a painting. Why didn't he noticed it before? The young man approached Celine, grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately again. "I have a home to fight for other than Colchis," he breathed still kissing her on the lips. "You Celine. You said that you loved me for three years, I loved you for nine. The only thing I want to do right now is to kiss you all day."
But he had a task to do which was show up these listless Tangeans. "But first I need grab your earrings," he said. "Now say the words to me, you know what they are."
And with that, Maximus sprinted to the pool and dove in. A wash of cold water splashed onto skin but he ignored it holding his breath as he dove deep underwater.

Oh gods, why hadn't she known before that he'd hardly ever been called handsome? The way he blushed, it might be obvious enough that that was the case. She knew perhaps even more now that she had been remiss in not telling him of her love sooner.
"Yes. You are. You've always seemed so...exotic to me. Coupled with your beautiful abs..."And other things, now, that I know of, too.she thought. "It's a heady combination. And as you've just pointed out, I spent the first eleven years of my life around tubs of lard." She laughed. "But in all seriousness, it was always you I yearned for...." Forget Greek standards of beauty! If she could be somewhat different from Taengeans in her likes and dislikes, she could be different from most Greeks in what attracted her to a man.
And I still do. I will yearn for you forever. I need you forever- in spite of your father's ambitions!
She paid little attention to his own praises about her; she knew he meant them, but right now Celine felt such intense desire that she was half afraid she would melt with it. Her knees were going to go weak...
As he kissed her passionately and said that she was his home, she also knew that he was hers. "I know, and soon I'll go where you go and you will be my home even more."
She sat on the ground to watch him, her legs crossed one over the other.
"I love you, I love you, I love you, ten thousand times and more...." And more and more and more and more....
He looked so beautiful and powerful diving into the pool that she was half-tempted to join him.
But it's not part of the contest, so I really shouldn't. Do I really want an audience when we make love when the very idea that we were potentially being watched was what caused the lung attack in the first place?
Still.... She fingered the belt on her chiton in thought. In some ways, now that she had made the choice she had, it was as if the daughter of Cassander and Andromache of Acaris didn't exist anymore. Used to travel by virtue of being an ambassador's daughter, she was not certain even the old Celine would have dared to follow her brothers, friends, and true love into a war zone for the sake of peace of mind.
And she was even more uncertain about diving into the pool if possible, in front of everyone. Still, would it hurt to at least give him more of that preview she'd started?
After all, one might very well see at least her breasts better through a wet chiton, and it was filmy enough that the material wouldn't drag her down too much when wet.
She still hesitated, though, because perhaps swimming after a lung attack when they were going to make love again would be too much.
But then, suddenly, it felt as though the decision was half made for her. Celine was nearly knocked backwards- even from a sitting position- as a particularly large man entered the pool after Max, splashing those in the audience closest to the front and sides, as well as making the wavy curls in her hair even more obvious.
Well, then. There was little doubt Max would win the contest speedily judging by some of the other competitors as well, so she might as well give him something else in order to celebrate his victory, right?
She didn't remove the chiton entirely, but she did carefully slip an arm out of it to hopefully give him a decent view of the curve in her right breast....
She was legitimately shivering from being wet both outside and inside her dress, but she thought it would all be worth it when he came out of the pool. What better way to get warm? She grinned in anticipation, then tried to think. Hmmm, where could they go?
And why not go all out?Well- almost all out. It was a festival of Aphrodite, after all....
She bared both breasts, just as she heard another splash. Max had probably resurfaced. Her teeth were chattering, so she couldn't quite grin, but her eyes were sparkling and she hoped they were alluring to him when they turned dark with passion.

If there was one physical activity that Maximus wasn't great, it was swimming. Considering that Colchis is known for its cold climates, swimming was hardly the favorite sport of the Colchians. Still Maximus excelled in swimming often taking placing in the top five when it came to swimming competitions within his unit. It's been some time since the young man swam, the last time he did so was a year ago, 2 weeks before he was deployed on his first tour. Maximus performed breaststrokes in one of the bathhouses in the Agora. He wanted to continue to build up his endurance in preparation for his trek in Mountains.
Maximus continued to hold his breath as he continued to swim to the bottom of the pool. It was deeper than he expected but Maximus can still see Celine's earrings slowly drifting in the water. From the corner of his eye, Maximus could see the other men scrambling to look for their lovers items. Some of them quickly went to the surface bubbles immediately flowing out from their mouths. Ha! Looks like they couldn't hold their breaths out there for long. Maximus was careful not to contort his face since he feared doing so would waste his breath.
However a large, fat man splashed next to Maximus creating a small wave pushing him back. The young man frowned at him as he paddled around directionless. He can only imagine the mess he made on the surface when he flopped. Maximus shook his head before turning to the direction where the earrings dropped. They were no longer in view, but the soldier saw a glistening light flashing from the bottom. Was it the earrings? Perhaps it was unlikely that they deviated off. Maximus swam deeper towards the bottom of the pool feeling more water entering his ears.
He can also feel his pressure closing in his head. The Teacher once told Maximus that the deeper a person dives underwater the more pressure it creates. He never dived this deep before, so Maximus questioned what the Teacher said especially when he said this while under the influence of Opioids. Maximus ignored the pressure as reached the bottom of the pool, the Golden Earrings laid flat on the ground inches away from each other. A smile formed on Maximus face, he found them at last but he was running out of air.
Quickly snatching up the earrings, the young man quickly swam to the surface flushed with triumph. He took one more look around and saw the rest of the swimmers still looking for their lovers' trinkets those rotund fools. Maximus resurfaced and eagerly swam to Celine. "I did it!" The young man shouted getting out of the pool. "I've retrieved your earrings!"
He said it loudly so the others can hear. Maximus wanted to show off in front of the Tangeans. They've wasted so much time underwater while it took Maximus less than a minute. Not noticing that Celine was wet and had her breasts exposed. Maximus grabbed her by the waist and spun her around kissing her moist lips. "Say the words Celine," the young man said before noticing her breasts and the fact that her chiton is wet.
"Oh no!" Maximus shouted. "Celine you're wet! What happened?! Who is the man who did this and-"
Maximus accidentally touched Celine's breast when he got closer. "It feels soft," he whispered as he squeezed it. "Does it Celine? I-I can stop if you want?"

Maximus was given a laurel crown and a bag of money, but Celine didn't know if the money would do him any good since he was heading off to Egypt. Who knew if the Egyptians would accept Greek coins in trade? Were there such things as moneychangers there? She couldn't remember, and she sighed a little at remembering that he would have to leave soon. It didn't matter that she would find her own way to Egypt soon, her heart still ached. When he asked where the man was who had gotten her dress wet, she laughed. "Still in the pool, I'd imagine. Tub of lard is absolutely right!" What a way to leave Greece- victorious! And hopefully you return victorious as well. She smiled softly, knowing all she could do was hope. For now, anyway.
"I love you, I love you, I love you... ten thousand times and more... oh gods no, don't stop...." She never wanted him to stop. She remembered the story of Aphrodite- love- and Ares-war- in bed together, and how long their affair had lasted, resulting in four sons for them. See! she wanted to shout. See, you can love and go to war at the same time! "We need to find somewhere to go... but see... this is why there's a contest in the first place. It can make your lover want to make love to you."
Boy, did she ever want to!
" Because there is something about a person's naked form, especially the one you love and have wanted to be with for so long. It was so... I was so..." Were there really any words for the level of her desire?
"Do you have any idea how manly you looked out there?" She reached to kiss him hungrily before smiling. "The tents. I forgot! The performers and musicians- some of the traveling ones have camps in the square." She was so cold, but there was no need to say they'd be warm- both from being inside and from their...activities. "Let's hope we find one that's empty."

Maximus would've thought that Celine would take offense to the fact that Tangeans weren't as physically active as Colchians but with the way she called the man who made her wet a fat tub of lard, it erased all doubt. The young man placed his other hand on Celine's exposed breast and began squeezing both of them. He considered it disrespectful to even think about touching a woman without their permission. Celine especially was a woman who did not like to be touched due to her painful experiences with her home fire. But both of them have nothing to lose given the circumstances and it felt like with Maximus disciplining himself combined with Celine's experimentation, they were preparing for each other.
The young man continued to squeeze Celine's bare breasts as he leaned in to kiss her. "They feel soft and bouncy like a ball," he said between kisses. "I kind of reminds me of the ball we played as children."
Intimacy was a brand new territory for Maximus. He didn't know what to say except just trust his instincts. It was a good thing it was with his best friend, who knows If Maximus fell in love with Nethis if he said something similar to how he described touch bare breasts. Maximus hoped that Celine wouldn't be embarrassed.
"Keep all of the coins," The young man smiled. "That should be enough to get you a boat to Egypt."
Or at least he hoped, that was a large sum of money for an activity that took less than a minute to complete. The young man quickly changed into his armor and dried Celine at the same time. She looked the same as she was when she got off the boat except that her breasts were exposed. "Keep them bare for me," Maximus winked as he returned her hungry kisses and swept her off her bare feet placing Celine in a bridal carry.
"Let me look around," Maximus said going deep into the Agora. There were celebrations everywhere which made it easier to blend it. After a few minutes of searching, Maximus found an open door an empty dock room. He entered and placed Celine down.
"Some quiet time," Maximus smirked closing the door. They were alone and already Maximus wanted to kiss every part of her body. Nine years, nine long years of buried love and it was unleashed at once. He wanted more time with Celine but duty comes first. Always.
"Let's make this lovemaking something to remember," Maximus said staring at Celine smiling.

Her eyes sparkled when he compared her breasts to soft, bouncy balls. "They kind of do, don't they? You'd be surprised at the things I don't seem to notice until someone brings them up." She was certainly noticing now! When he picked her up to dry her off and kept her in his arms, she bit her lip to keep from moaning, afraid he would think he was hurting her.
Quite the opposite was actually happening, but she was also still shivering. "It's n-no use. I'm st-still wet under the dress."
In more than one way. Gods he was kissing her so passionately. She sensed, somehow, that he wanted to do more of that, the way he wasn't stopping, but was probably waiting for her permission.
" You'll have to take it off. And yes. Please. Kiss me anywhere and everywhere you wish."
Somehow, in the hurried passion of their first few hours making love, it hadn't come to her mind. But now they were off the ship, more or less secluded, and could both...explore each other more thoroughly.
'Let's make this lovemaking something to remember,'
She smiled, a little sadly, thinking of tonight, when, instead of at least having the comfort that she was following him, she would be in Taengea with her old friends, but likely still a little anxious and disoriented. It would keep herself and Max safer if she took her time, but suddenly, just for a moment, it seemed like too high a price to pay. What if the nightmares, possibly exacerbated by her time in the ship, returned tonight?
She nodded. "I thought it might be hard sleeping tonight, considering the fears I faced on the ship. But if I have something else for Morpheus to send me dreams of...." She left that thought there.
