It was then that Mike and Elton noticed that Celine had slipped away from them while their backs were turned. "You gotta be kidding me!" Mike said pulling out his pistol. "No!" Elton said hastily placing his bony hand on Mike's beefy wrist. "We can't harm Celine and besides do you want to draw attention to ourselves?! We're near a fucking restaurant!"
"Sorry," Mike holstered his weapon taking a good look at Celine running towards the alleyway. "She's heading back to the alleyway?" He asked.
"Probably to retrieve her phone," he said. "We better get after her." The two men ran after Celine pushing over any pedestrian that was in their way. There were more people coming out to the streets from either work or the Broadway show forming a larger crowd.
"Ah shit!" Mike said pushing people out of the way. The men and women who were pushed looked at the two men incredulously with some uttering curse words at them. They didn't matter, what mattered was the woman in the green dress disappearing into the alley way.

"Western. Western. Western," Celine repeated over and over again as she disappeared into the alley. Gods, where could Max have meant to tell her to go? She needed more information now or else she'd get caught again. Celine might have been agile, but due to her asthma, she was not invincible.
Now, where could those flowers have led to?
"Saint Simon's?" Celine guessed. That was the Greek Orthodox church, and where she had found the color of blue that gave her her assumed name of Celine Galanis. Then again, maybe she was getting desperate because being kidnapped made her want to be married so she could feel safe.
No, that was a few streets over.
Then again, why not take a chance? If it wasn't Max's idea for her to go there, then at least a church would be somewhere where these badass men might get struck by lightning if they tried to enter, considering what they were probably planning on doing to her.
She shuddered briefly in horror, and just barely managed to avoid a huge crack in the concrete that her silver heels surely would have been stuck in.
"Gods help me, I have no actual clue where to go." she muttered.
Then she had an idea.
Avoid the cracks! Boy, whoever had paved this street last really sucked at their job.
Halfway down the alley, she veered away from the street that would take her she really wanted to go- to get her phone so she could ask Max for another clue. That would be the first place these goons would look.
She started to veer to the south, then realized these goons probably expected her to go straight down the alley.
Not a good idea.
She headed north.

The alleyway was dark and damp making it hard for Celine to see. The sounds of sirens and people chattering were from afar the more she walked, the harder it was to hear them. Rats came scurrying out from their thrash cans and ran in front of Celine with some of them crawling on her heeled foot. There was a light ahead which seemingly lead towards a tunnel. Perhaps Celine can find refuge in there?

Celine fought the urge to scream as she felt a bat touch her foot. She wasn't terribly squeamish around such creatures, but that was in the daytime! The alley was horribly dark and she could hardly see, but she followed the light, not really knowing what else to do. When she got to the tunnel, she found a wall to lean against and saw....
