Your Evening Radiance,
Forgive my brief tone. I write with news of the first contact with the enemy and His conduct. The Greeks landed at Manopotapa and set aflame our decoy ships. They were then blown back into our coast with their own fleet damaged.
We are set to engage them shortly, but I have been ordered to the sidelines.
H'Haikaddad is to lead the charge instead while H'Moghadam men wait at His whim. I fear the arrogance He shows, and pray this is not a waste of good footmen when a greater archer chariot force could have backed them. Perhaps the Council should be informed of this choice before we have further engagement.
I will write more if there is change.
Your most faithful adoring servant, General Osorsen H'Moghadam the Younger
