Prince Vangelis,
I would be honored to host your sister, although I am not sure you will appreciate the offer when she comes back after discovering the intricacies of living with a houseful of sisters. I would imagine she might find it to be taxing, as the varying personalities of my sisters would drive a goddess to seek moments of solitude. Please let her know that she would always be welcome, should she wish to come and enjoy and afternoon. Does she enjoy riding? Perhaps she would prefer the stables to the cacophony of personalities in the Leventi home.
It certainly does make for an interesting atmosphere. But I would imagine that the success of a kingdom relies on the support of both monarchs, unified and strong together. A household could be considered the same, but does not impact quite as many people. My mother, Gods bless her, has the best of intentions. I cannot help but hope to find a husband who might look at marriage in the same light as your parents do.
If you ever wish to expand on that skill, it will only take more visits to Taengea to realize that we have become masters in that art. I can see how, from your point of view, our philosophies on life may leave much to be desired due to our carefree attitude. Personally, I believe it is more that we have learned to focus on the day to day enjoyment of life. If the murder of the King has taught me anything, it is that no one is truly safe and each moment is a gift. But perhaps, I may come to use that gift less in the service of myself and learn from you. There must be balance, I think.
I wish I knew how to reconcile the hopes of my head with the desires of my heart.
I do hope this letter finds you home and well. I ask that you only write should you find a spare moment. As you travel so frequently around the kingdoms, I do not wish to waste what little time you have to enjoy your family to write back to me. There is nothing more important than family. I may have a far more inward look on life, but I do strongly believe that family is the core of everything important.
May the Gods bring you rest and joy in your homeland,
Lady Selene
