My Lady Selene,
I beg your forgiveness that this missive does not come from the hand of my lady mother, the queen. She has been much distraught of late with the illness that has befallen my brother and as such I have taken over the business of correspondence. My brother is still confined to his bed and is left with only myself and various other dull family members to entertain and comfort him, but I am sure he would be welcoming of additional visitors.
Please, accept my invitation to stay with us here. Our family would be happy to welcome you with open arms, and I am sure my wife would be happy for additional companionship. I shall send a guard along with this letter to escort you back to the palace at your earliest occasion. We will all be happy to have another to sit with him during this time as he can get quite cantankerous when confined.
We look forward to your presence, and invite you to stay as long as you wish.
Yours,
Zanon of Kotas
