Lord Fotios,
A long while it has been, but I am fortunate to receive another message from thy ink. Colchis remains strong, despite its recent tragedy, she will continue to stand strong. Very likely our Prince would follow the same merit... The Kotas should appreciate their ties with House Thanasi than they do now, but with time I am sure they will see our worth. Comforting and making sure my family is well kept will be my biggest priority, so rest assured there is little to lack there. I humbly thank you for your support, and it is very true in what you've stated. They are lucky, but the gods have seen it that my sister remains the luckiest - married by true love.
Awe, I have heard of Lady Selene's happenings in Midas, I do believe her stay was fair and kind. What I hear from my sister she seemed to have enjoyed herself immensely - I will say it took her little time to get used to Colchian culture. Her love for horses was evident, the next time returns I will be sure to have her own stall full of them. Additionally, I am sure she will be able to tell you more than I can on her stay.
Now, I am glad you've chosen to see my younger brother, Lord Dysius as a suitor for your niece - I am sure she is one of the fairest and beautiful. There takes little persuasion to join your cause, I too see this marriage as something beneficial and unique for our families. I support their marriage and I am sure Lord Dysius would fall for your lovely niece - the Fates have already written it. I can already taste the wine as we celebrate another marriage between families.
Another thing, it does not surprise me you learn of my attempts with the Skleros House, nor would I question it. In time this will happen, but of course there are some means of impediments... Nothing that can't be brought down. I am more attentive towards the union of House Leventi and Thanasi may we and the gods will it true?
I hope your families gains nothing but prosperity in these times.
With warm regards,
Nethis of Thanasi
