Vangelis,
I am most pleased for the update to the status of your family. It brings me much relief to know that things have settled into a more blissful existence. Whatever ended up transpiring, it is easier to know that it has passed and a new joy can exist within the Kotas walls. I must admit, I was concerned over the issue, simply because I consider your family most dear to me. It broke my heart to know of the strife and to guess as to the cause without being of more assistance.
I am happy to learn that you are resuming your duties, for I know how much happiness they carry for you. If only your people knew how difficult it was for you prior to this. I am always humbled by your drive to maintain your position and to be a man worthy of following. The amount of people genuinely concerned for your well-being was far louder than your complaining.
Jesting aside, it is good to hear that you are able to better blend both your duties to your people and your duties to your family. Their love for you is apparent, hard to miss.
I cannot say for certain where I will be by the time you arrive. My father has fallen ill (nothing too serious) and it does appear to be of the catching kind. My father has insisted that we stay in the city with my uncle until the he and the staff are fully healed. But I would be most pleased to see you again. And I would finally be able to stop guessing what you look like atop Phobos to see for myself. It would be most selfish of me, I think, to admit that I have wished for your company. You have become a dear friend to me, and having to take care with my words has become a hassle (but one I glad bear). I would like to see you face to face, where we can drop the presences of our stations and just be Selene and Vangelis.
My sister would be most honored to meet you. My mother had spoke of little else since she intercepted one of my letters before it could be sent. If nothing else, I can promise you a rousing dinner with the Leventi women, one that you will wish you had skipped in favor for a knife to the abdomen.
Safest of journeys, my dearest prince. My mornings are spent in the temples, making offerings to the Gods to ensure that you make it to Taegnea in one piece.
Fondly yours,
Selene
