Saro watched the whole thing unfold from his spot by the back door, laughing to himself as he saw Adre take a swing at Lukos. It was cute, though he knew that Adre was genuinely pissed off. The man wasn't usually one for fighting, but something about that other man had driven him to taking a swing. He also watched as Tim dragged him away and outside, hearing the shouting and knowing that Adre's friend wasn't being helpful, even if he thought he was.
He moved towards the door they had gone out, pushing it open to step out into the night air with the two of them. He saw Adre look over at him as soon as he stepped out.
"Adre." He said, focusing on his ex and ignoring Timaeus, knowing that the other would probably not be happy that Saro was approaching Adrestus.
"First off, here." He slipped his leather jacket off and held it out to Adre, knowing that he wouldn't notice the chill of the night air through his emotional state, but not wanting him to get sick standing out in the cold.
"Second off, I thought I taught you to throw a punch much better than that." He said, raising one eyebrow and giving Adre a little coy smile, hoping to lighten his mood a little, or have his ex attack him. Perhaps swinging a punch or two at his ex would serve to calm Adre a little bit.

When Imeeya's secretary had told her that she had signed her up for some kind of charity event, she had neglected to tell her exactly what kind of charity event. If that woman wasn’t so good at her job she would have been fired. Perhaps it was for the best. She would have signed up for it anyway had it been her choice: she was never one to pass up the opportunity to donate to charity. At least this way she hadn’t had to dread it for the days leading up to the event.
Still, Imeeya wished the event could have featured any other activity than just kissing random strangers. In front of everyone. Imeeya turned to the one thing that normally got her through this kind of tedious charity events, wine. However this time, she drank with much less moderation than she would at a more serious function. She hoped by the time her name was called, the idea of kissing a random person would seem much less embarrassing. She had tried to keep her mind off what was going on in the room and had mostly been ignoring what had been going on.
That is until her name was called. She looked up from her cup of wine to find that she was expected to kiss Magnus of Chaossis. Shit. Imeeya wasn’t sure she could have picked a worse person. At least, her wine-soaked brain certainly couldn’t think of one at the moment. He was exactly the wrong amount of familiar. She wasn’t sure she’d be able to look at this man with whom her family worked the same way after this. Still, waiting wasn’t going to make this any easier.
Imeeya pushed herself up to her slightly wobbly feet. She found her way up to the stage standing beside the master informer. “I suppose we should go ahead and get this out of the way?” she suggested to him in a business-like manner. She just had to remember, this was all for charity and it would be over quickly.

Magnus had first raised a brow when he recognized who it was, a nobility of his own kingdom. The Lady Imeeya was someone he knew from passing, but there was no doubt the lady knew him as well. Afterall, his name and features was a prominent part of the court, especially when he made it his business to know everyone else's business.
Still, he wasn't expecting the lady to be so wine-soaked, and neither was he expecting the lady to actually exchange words while on stage. He himself had just staggered on, kissed who he needed to and moved on. It was meant to be for a good cause afterall, so Magnus had seemly shielded his brain from the fact that he didn't want to do any of it at all. Being a spymaster meant he got very good at compartmentalizing.
Caught a little offguard, the man blinked like a goldfish in his fishbowl, before nodding mutely. Suddenly realizing he was't not speaking at all, he cleared his throat and gave a small smile to Imeeya. "I was under the impression that it is your turn to come up and kiss me, as is the rules." he smirked, as he turned his cheek towards the lady, bending down a little to accomodate for a shorter height. Afterall, he had done his duty in being the kisser for the unruly pirate before him - he wasn't going to be the one initiating a kiss to another person.
Once that was done, the Master Informer merely turned on his heels and returned to his seat, quite thankful that it was over with.

Timaeus wasn’t prepared for how harshly his friend would push back when the Colchian dragged him away from the pirate. Sure, he had expected some resistance, but he didn’t fathom for a moment that Adre’s temper would quickly rise to such levels. Tim wasn’t even quite sure how he had managed to keep such a firm grip on his friend as he ushered him to the door. He must have been given some strength by Zeus or Ares or any other god to manage a feat like that.
Whatever strength reserves he had tapped into in order to drag the boy away from the pirate who had caused the both of them so much pain was quickly sapped from him the moment the pair made it outside. Once there was a physical barrier between him and Lukos, Timaeus let his friend go, making a beeline for the doorway to block his friend from going back inside to finish the fight he had started. It was clearly a good call because just as soon as Timaeus let go, Adre was hellbent introducing Lukos to his other.
“ Adre! Adre! You have to calm down!” Timaeus practically shouted at the other boy -- but not from any sort of emotional cause. Timmy had to shout because he wasn’t sure that his friend would be able to hear the Valaoritis over his ranting and raving about the crimes against Sokari. In truth, Timaeus hated that man just as much as Adre did and a small part of him had cheered when Adre had decked the pirate because Lukos had deserved that slug across the face and so much more... But he understood what the Nikolaos didn’t.
This was not the time nor the place to start a barfight.
Especially with a man as dangerous as Lukos.
“ Adre, you’ve got to listen!” The heartbroken friend said as he lowered his voice, hoping to break through the passionate screeches of his friend to impart some common sense into him. “ I hate him just as much as you do. Trust me -- I would love nothing more than to deck him too. But you can’t pick a fight with him here. Not at a charity event.” It wasn’t the truth that Adre wanted to hear, but surely he could understand the ramifications of his violent actions at an event that was designed for goodwill. There were so many well-to-do people present that Adre’s family would later have to do business with once the dust settled. It wouldn’t look good on the Nikolaos to have everyone remember their heir to be a violent hothead with no self-control.
Surely, Adre could see the logic in that.
Before Timaeus could try to bring his friend down from his emotional high another figure approached the pair. The Colchian didn’t see him until the man was practically on top of the feuding friends and was clearly close enough to see the eye roll that Timaeus didn’t try to suppress. Of course, Saro just had to get involved. Couldn’t he leave well enough alone?
Timaeus was about to scowl openly at the man and tell him to bugger off before he hurt Adre any more than he already had. However, before he even had so much as a chance, the ex-boyfriend decided to get all cozy with Adre and offer him his coat. That alone had Timaeus seething red. How dare Saro try and be all cuddly with Adre after he had clearly broken his heart?
How. fucking. dare. he.
However, before he had a chance to wind his arm up and start the fight that he had avoided inside the bar, Timaeus could sense a shift in tone in his friend and the interloper. No words were said, but suddenly Adre grew somewhat calmer and Tim got the strange sensation that whatever was occurring between Adre and Saro, he was not welcome to witness it. He didn’t know what had clued Timaeus into the change, but whatever it was… unlike Adre and Saro, he could take a damn hint.
“ Fine. Whatever. Be all cozy with this prick, I don’t care.” Timaeus growled at his friend, angry that after everything had he had done for Adre tonight, the Nikolaos would still chose to spend time with Saro. As Timaeus was unaware of the history surrounding the pair and firmly believing that his friend was incapable of hurting anything more than a fly (despite is violent outbursts), he had no idea that he had the story completely wrong and that it was Adre who was the one who broken Saro’s heart. To him, it was clearly the other way around and Timaeus found it pathetic that Adre would go crawling back to Saro after all this time. But whatever… it was Adre’s own grave he was digging.
That was a sentiment that was made clear as Timaeus firmly backed away from whatever was going on between his best friend and his ex. Giving the pair a few final parting words before the Valaoritis would storm back inside to find a new drink to down at the bar, “ Just don’t come crawling back to me when he breaks your heart or you start another fight. I can see when I’m not wanted.” And with that, Timaeus wiped his hands clean of the entire mess and stormed back inside with a loud clang of the door.
Let Adre solve his own problems.

Timaeus had wine to drink.
This evening was going spectacularly badly. Perhaps it was that she had had too much to drink. Or perhaps it was the fact that she had agreed to participate in this gods forsaken event in the first place. As if Imeeya couldn't be any more embarrassed by having to kiss Magnus in front of absolutely everyone Imeeya had already screwed the whole thing up. Luckily, she had had enough wine that she didn't really care all that much. That at least seemed to indicate that she had drunk exactly the correct amount. Magnus had set her back on the right track by offering her his cheek to kiss. Well, it seemed the best she could do now was get things over with as quickly as possible.
Imeeya went over to Magnus and placed a quick peck on his cheek. There, it was done. She was going to go get more drunk and forget that this entire incident had ever happened. Except no, she had forgotten. That's not how this game was played, was it? No, she had to stay here and wait for someone else to kiss her. Just great. Well, hopefully, this one would be someone she didn't know who wouldn't even remember it. Afterward, she could find a way to scrub the whole experience from her memory.

It took a couple of times before Sil realised that it was hisname being called over the background chatter of the bar, and he glanced briefly over towards the stage to check out the lay of the land before he made any move towards it. He squinted a little because the lighting made it difficult to see, but judged the blonde who was up there to not be hideous. And then he looked again and grinned. Oh. This was going to be fun
“Hold that thought,” he said to Mihail, raising a finger to stem the conversation they’d been having and passing off his drink to the other to hold “I have an uptight society princess to upset”
He was grinning again as he sauntered up to the stage, winking at the girl who was checking off names as he went. Imeeya of Drakos. They had a rather interesting past, but deep down, he was pretty sure the heiress had a soft spot for him, however she might pretend otherwise. Flashing a bright smile at the blonde as he stopped before her, Sil let his gaze sweep over her from head to toe and back up again.
“Well I never. Didn’t expect to see you so far downtown, Imeeya. My lucky night I guess”
And because he knew it would make her all flustered, he stepped right up into her space, reached up to trace the backs of his fingers down the side of her face. “It’s for charity remember, so don’t be stingy now,” he said lowly, close to her ear before leaning to capture her lips softly with his own. Now there was nothing Sil liked more than cause a stir, and Imeeya was just so delightfully baitable that it didn’t really take much consideration on his part to let his hands come up to clasp her face and to try his luck in pressing the kiss a little further. Poor girl probably didn’t get much chance for fun and this way she could blame it on the fact that it was for charity. She tasted of wine and expensive things and it was certainly not an unenjoyable way to interrupt his evening.

At first, Imeeya hadn't been paying much attention to the name that was called. It was just one more kiss. Hopefully, this one with someone she wasn't already familiar with and it could be over and done with no more fanfare. Her stomach dropped as she actually processed the name that had been called. Of all people, Silanos. She was almost ready to just walk off the stage right there, screw the charity, nothing was worth having to kiss that dishonest low-life. No, she couldn't do that. Not in front of everyone, not at a charity event. She'd just have to find a way to make it through this.
Sil, as per usual, couldn't help but make Imeeya regret that decision. She wanted nothing more to smack the amused smile off of Sil's face as he addressed her, the fact that it wouldn't be polite to do so in front of everyone only held her back for a moment, but the wine had dulled her reflexes, so she found her face in between his hands and his mouth on hers. For a moment, she stiffened and reached towards his shoulders to push him away, but as the sensation of the kiss finally reached her wine-soaked brain, she found that she couldn't stay angry. In fact, she kind of liked it.
Before she could properly process what she was doing, Imeeya had leaned into the kiss instead of away from it. There was something about this that was wrong, but she just wanted the moment to continue. Then what was wrong about this reasserted herself. This was Silanos, he was neither someone to trust nor to kiss. Her hands that had been resting on his shoulders now pushed him away. "I think that's quite enough," she said forcefully, but she couldn't quite bring herself to the anger she wished she could project at him. Instead, she was blushing.
Imeeya turned and exited the stage quickly, not making eye contact with anyone. She had lots of questions about what had even just happened and no one that she could talk to about it. Perhaps more alcohol would allow her to just forget all of it. Then she'd never have to deal with it. Imeeya went straight to the bar. "Can I get a Manhattan" she called to the bartender "As quickly as possible."

Lukos leaned back against the bar, drink in hand, watching Imeeya come up a few stools down and order her drink. He grinned and turned so that his elbows rested on the bar’s top and glanced over his shoulder at her. She was so stiff and angry all the time. That had to be exhausting.
“That bad?” he quipped. “I dunno. You looked like you were enjoying it a little bit.” Moving down to sit nearer to her, with one stool between them, he crossed his arms and bit his lower lip as he considered her with a narrowed gaze. “It’s for charity. What’s to get upset about? Unless you like him...which would be…” he twisted, looking back at Silanos. “Odd.”
Not that Silanos was bad looking, but someone as straight laced as Imeeya couldn’t possibly see anything in some wastrel like Silanos...could she? And if she did, to discover it on stage, in a room full of people. That would be incredibly awkward. Lukos watched the bartender making Imeeya’s drink and and then looked back at her. “I think you’ll be ok. It’s just a kiss. They don’t mean anything.”

Imeeya had been hoping that maybe, just maybe, she might be able to have a moment to sort out her feelings before she had to deal with anyone else. Apparently the bar had been the wrong place to go for peace and quiet. And she had thought the night couldn't get any worse. Here was an annoying pirate to turn this evening into a complete dumpster fire of an event.
Imeeya took and downed her drink before she even acknowledged Lukos's presence. She wasn't nearly drunk enough to deal with him yet. "One more of these," she called to the bartender as she set her glass down. With any luck, she would not remember any of this evening.
Imeeya turned to Lukos. "So what if I enjoyed it?" Shit. Had she just said that out loud? Was it even true? Imeeya was flustered as she continued. "Either way, I don't see how it's any of your business. So why don't you just leave me alone." Him hanging around wasn't going to help anything. There were already untrue rumors swirling that she and the pirate were an item. If everyone now thought that she liked Silanos as well, and now she was talking to Lukos again, she could only imagine what rumors would fly.
Imeeya turned her back to Lukos as she took her second Manhattan, sipping this one more slowly than the first.

When Nana heard her name called, she couldn't help but let out a loud laugh. This was hilarious. Nana had no clue before this night that Silanos was related to Timaeus, but she would certainly use this to her advantage. While she currently harbored a feeling of deep loathing for the elder Valaoritis, she was quite fond of Silanos, and how she loved the idea of using this kiss as a way to rub it in her former flame's face.
Checking her appearance in a hand-mirror before getting up from her seat, she turned to Mihail with a look of amusement on her face. "This should be interesting," she said as she took a sip from her glass before stepping away. In passing, she added, "Be a dear and make sure he doesn't spike my drink while I'm away."
Making her way through the crowd of partygoers, Nana's eyes were locked on the stage, the blonde smiling at her partner as she pushed past her observers.
As she approached the stage, the Leventi raised her eyebrows suggestively at the younger Valaoritis, her way of alerting him as to just what was about to happen, though she didn't think it likely that he'd mind. Walking up the steps to where Silanos stood, Nana grinned at her Colchian friend, taking the opportunity to smooth her hair as she commented, "Well... This is quite a predicament we've found ourselves in." Taking the man's hands in her own for a brief second, Nana squeezed them before saying with a smile, "But, I could think of few other men who I would be as happy to kiss."
She gave him only a short time to respond before resting her hands on the young man's face, pulling him down to her level to press her lips against his own with all the passion she could muster. She then took the opportunity to wrap her arms around the man's neck, closing any space there might have been between them. Nana was quite the actress, after all, and she intended to give a performance Timaeus would never forget.

Sil tried and failed to suppress the smirk when Imeeya finally pushed him away. She was flustered, and it was all he had wanted. Not so perfect and put together after all. Her ‘I think that's quite enough’ was a clumsy and obvious way to try and reassert herself, but it was undermined by the flush that had crept over her face. She had kissed back, whatever ice-queen thing she might try and throw off.
“If you say so” he replied, tipping her a wink and moving backwards under the pressure of her hands “But if you ever want a replay, I’d be willing to give it another go. For the children” And then he squinted up at the banner that hung overhead “Or you know, whatever we’re raising money for”
He watched her stomp off and laughed quietly to himself. She could do with a good fuck. Maybe he’d offer later.
He was still looking after Imeeya when the voice over the tannoy announced the next kisser, and Sil’s gaze swivelled to where he’d left Mihail and Nana of Leventi. Someone up there was smiling on him, he’d dodged having to kiss a guy and been gifted with pretty hot options both turns. Sil wasn’t going to complain.
He returned Nana’s smile as she approached the stage. He’d met the Leventi girl some years before and they saw each other around at parties now and then. He’d never put any real effort into pursuing her, and now he was wondering why, because she was stunning. And he liked the playful dip of her eyebrows as she climbed the steps up to the stage. She looked like trouble and that was his favourite kind of girl. Not knowing of the drama between Nana and his brother, there was no reason for Silanos to doubt the wisdom of the scenario.
“I don’t know. I can think of worse predicaments” he replied, glancing down at where she held his hands. Entirely different from the last girl on the stage, Nana was pretty assertive in claiming her kiss, and Sil was momentarily surprised when she pulled him in. But he was nothing if not an opportunist, so it only took him a second to catch up, one hand going to rest at the small of her back, the other sneaking up to tangle in her hair. If Nana of Leventi wanted to give these people a show then he was more than happy to oblige. It was playful and assertive, and his hand drew her closer so they were pressed together in a manner less than chaste.
He was smiling against her mouth by the time they broke apart, a surprised sort of laugh spilling between them. “Why haven’t we done that before!?” And because it was hard not to, he leant in to steal another quick kiss before finally pulling away. “Ok, ok, I’m done. I need a drink and a cold shower” he muttered, raising an apologetic hand toward the woman with the Ipad who was scowling at him from the edge of the stage. “I’ll see you later” he added to Nana before leaving the stage to go rejoin Mihail.
