It was early when Athanasia arrived at the agora, the birds were singing their morning song while the air still felt cool. Apollo had started to drive his sun chariot higher in the sky as the market around Athanasia came to life. Achilles sat at her feet as she sat on the fountain's edge while watching the people walk by.
Elias was late. If he didn't show up, atleast Athanasia got out and was able to enjoy the day some with her pup, he was getting better at listening to her once she started flicking water at him. Maybe she might take him in the woods later, see how he fairs among the trees? Looking down at the light peach colored chiton that she picked out just for this meeting, she smiled. Surprisingly she found that she actually liked the softer color against her tanned skin, even as the fabric blended and deepened into a much richer reddish color that reminded her of the flesh of a peach. Since he was late, she had no problems reminding him that she smacked him once with a peach to the face.
Athanasia listened to the crowd around her, reaching into her little bag, she took out some dried deer meat and gave it to her very patient puppy. "Don't worry Achilles, we will give him 10 more minutes, then we will go back home."

Elias had meant to be on time, but his father had wanted him to meet someone that they had trade ties with. It was a very boring meeting, and Elias mentally lamented when he realized the sun was too high in the sky—he was officially late to meet the princess. He could have used the fact he was meeting a princess to get out of the introductory meeting, but… he didn’t really want to shirk what his father deemed as his duties in favor of a friend.
Even if she was a girl, a princess at that. He strived for his father’s praise and love, and shirking his duties would do nothing but convince the older Stravos that the younger male was not… worth the sound of his voice. So he sat through the meeting, politely sipping from a glass that had been handed to him.
When he was released from the meeting in question, he waved off his father’s chatter, and left the older Stravos to continue conversation. He was late, horribly so. He hoped Achilles hadn’t managed to get away from Athanasia. Elias took his time, used to people waiting on him, even if he had not wanted to make this particular person wait.
He finally reached the agora plateia and made a face of disgust at the peach color. She was easy to spot, mostly due to that awful color. He scrunched his nose as he came to stand in front of her, kneeling to scratch the dog behind his ear. “You’ve cleaned up nicely, haven’t you, Achilles?” He chuckled quietly, running his fingers under the dog’s chin.
“You… not so much,” he stated, making another face at the chiton she had chosen to wear. He flashed her a grin, though, “But I suppose I can forgive your poor choice of color, in return for waiting on me.” He realized he was late and was willing to acknowledge it.

Athanasia was looking up at the clouds when the sound of steps grew closer, Achilles giving a yip in greetings when Elias kneeled to give the pup a friendly scratch. His words to her made her roll her eyes at him. "Believe it or not, Elias, not everyone dresses to impress you." Looking over at him, the red did look good on him, but she would never say that out loud. "As for waiting, I wasn't. In fact, I was about to head home since the man I was supposed to meet didn't even bother to show up on time. Not even a note in consideration or anything. So, rumors be damned. I am not THAT curious."
Standing up, Athanasia brushed out her chiton till it was smooth again. "Also, I happen to find myself liking how this color looks on me. Perhaps I shall make it a new staple in my wardrobe, since somehow I am now needing your forgiveness in what color I wear." She was mad at his audacity to tell her he forgave her the choice of color she wore and as she thought about it, she lifted her finger as she pointed at him, her anger clear. "Last I checked you were neither my father nor my husband to try and tell me what colors I should be able to wear."
Turning away quickly, her gown flared around her ankles as she stormed off. "Come on Achilles. We should go home." Though really, her thoughts were of the forest as she started to leave.

Elias smiled at the yip of greeting from the dog, though he had hit a nerve with Athanasia, and she did not sound nearly as pleased to see him. He’d definitely insulted her, though he was not yet sure if he had meant it as an insult—he probably had; he liked her fire, and enjoyed being on the other end of her temper, it would seem. He makes no move to 'defend' himself. The fact of the matter is that he was late for a meeting with a princess. She had every right to be upset with him. In fact, he would have been disappointed if it had not upset her.
He would have been disappointed if she were too nice. Whatever quantity he deemed “too nice” to be. She was right, though. He should have sent someone ahead to inform her that he would be late to their meeting… He rolled her eyes as she brushed her chiton. “Always have to look perfect, hm, Athanasia?” She was already upset, and he was happy to provide her with more fuel. “The color is an abomination, but it does look nice on you. Compliments your skin tone, in a sickly kind of way.” He added, easily following the fact she had worn the color in an attempt to get a rise out of him.
She pointed her finger at him, and he pursed her lips at her next statement. “Mhm, say,” she was turning to leave, and he reached to grab her wrist, stepping close to her. “Athanasia? Would you really let a man tell you what to wear, how to dress? That is not the princess I met.” Dark eyes studied her. “Never let a man tell you what you are worth, even if it is only the clothes that you wear.” He advised, quietly.
The same advice he would give his sisters, his cousins. Women were worth more than their ability to bear children, after all. But he would hate to see some man stifle the spirit that the Colchian princess had, specifically. She was such a fiery little creature, and he wanted to fan that flame. “If you wish to leave my presence,” he released her, aware they were in public. Anyone could see them and they already had rumors spreading. “At least allow me to escort you home.”

When Elias commented on how she always had to look perfect, Athanasia let out a laugh. If he only knew how she was when she was in the woods. Covered in dirt and sometimes even splattered with animal blood, perfect was far from her mind. Though she did wonder why she cared that her chiton was smoothed. Sure it was a lovely silk garment and it felt good on her skin, but she didn't care till he was right there. The thought that she cared annoyed her, knowing that he hated peaches, she should have expected the comments. "This is silk, of course I need to keep it looking nice." His comment on the color complimenting her skintone in a sickly kind of way, Asia was done with fighting with him.
The fire burned between them, fighting to get a rise out of the other and stoke the flame higher till someone got burned. Elias seemed to know what buttons to push in that moment as Athanasia yelled at him about liking the color she chose, stating that he was not her father or husband to tell her what to do. She never expected to be grabbed when she turned. Warm fingers wrapped around her wrist, stopping her escape, as Elis stepped closer. He was in her space now, inches from her as Athanasia's head leaned back just slightly to meet his eyes. She didn't pull away, listening as he asked if she would allow a man to tell her how to dress. Athanasia's cheeks turned pink as he continued to talk quietly so only she heard him. She didn't know how to react with him so close, her voice was soft as well as she shook her head, "I never let a man to tell me how to dress. Never will, but I have heard stories. They make it sound like a common thing, and then you insulted me without even greeting or anything." Looking down at his larger hand around her wrist, she started to feel rather small and dainty, his touch hot against her skin. She wondered if she had always feel so small next to a man and just never noticed, or was it only this one? She never felt small around them before, and they were certainly taller. It was only a moment but her eyes met his again, she had a thought cross her mind of evening the score with him, "Maybe one day I will show you my world. If you stop being such a malaka to me."
While she spoke, her hand slipped into his pocket bag just like Yiannis taught her. She had never planned to pickpocket him, but after he made her so mad, all she wanted was to get revenge in any way she could. To get him to stop being so rude to her when all she's been was nice. She apologised for the damned peach and he said he forgave her, so why did he have to be such a snob? Sure she wore the color to get a rise out of him, but he didn't have to be so mean about it. Her fingers met with something cool and smooth, it felt round against her fingers. Stepping closer, she nervously bit her lower lip as she looked around and whispered before meeting his gaze, "So what rumors have you heard?" Standing closer, she was able to wrap her fingers around the round rock and pulled it free before slipping it into her own bag. She never broke eye contact with Elias until her let her go. "I don't know.. there's something about you." Stepping away from him, she couldn't put her finger on it for why she didn't really want to leave now that her temper was starting to go down. Her anger tended to make her impulsive but now that she wasn't so angry, she realized she didn't want to go home. Plus she had her little trophy in her pocket bag to look at later. "I mean, we could go that way and I could get changed. You can get changed too. You think I am so prim and proper, but you know nothing about me." Athanasia gave him a smile as she placed a hand on her hip, "I mean, that is if you are brave enough to try your hand in my world."

Athanasia gave him a smile as she placed a hand on her hip, "I mean, that is if you are brave enough to try your hand in my world."
Elias studied her quietly, dark, earthen eyes taking in the brown of her hair, the tan of her skin. The fact she was untouched, unblemished, beautiful. Niobe would call her homely, and had, in fact. When she tried to walk away from him, he grabbed her, fingers curling around her wrist.
He did not allow anyone to walk away from him, even her. Even a princess. But especially her. If he let her walk away, who knows how the dynamic they had going would change.
So soft.
He held her in place, not tight enough to cause a bruise, but she certainly was not going to get away from him that quickly. Her head tilted back, to meet his eyes, and he leaned close to her; from afar, someone may think he was kissing her. Their breath mingled as he studied her. The blaze of pink to her cheeks made him smirk. He enjoyed seeing what he did to those around him; but to see that reaction from her… it satisfied something that wanted more.
The smirk faded as she promised she would never let a man speak to her about how she should dress, and he studied her. Her cheeks flush with pink, her eyes ablaze with fury. If he leaned just a bit closer, their lips would meet and…
Instead, he ignored his thoughts. “Insults are one way to get a reaction, just as a greeting is.” He responded, reaching with his free hand to rest two fingers against her chin, adjusting her gently so that he could really look at her. “You really are beautiful, even if the color you chose offends me.”
He offered her a smile. “Sometimes, my dear, insults are much more than insults. But you…” Dark hazel hues wandered her features. They were close enough that Athanasia might catch the green flecks that floated through earthen hazel. He leaned just a bit closer, his lips brushing against the side of her mouth, not a kiss, but near enough to get another reaction, “...you’ve certainly picked up on that, like the smart girl you are.”
Athanasia’s next words were biting, and he chuckled, “Perhaps I would like that.” He would greatly enjoy seeing Athanasia in her most natural habitat; but he would not admit that to her. For now, he was toying with her, seeing how far she would allow him to go. How far he could get in public versus how far he’d get in private…
Well, Elias knew his way around women, even the fighty ones like this princess. But gods, was this one fun. He wanted to push her buttons, see how far she’d push back. He had never had a female he was interested in act this way towards him. Most of the time they were enthralled, thrilled to have his attention, tripping over themselves to woo him for the night…
But Athanasia…
She had his attention.
Not just for the day, but from the moment she had flung that peach. Such a movement truly should not have intrigued him. It enraged him, certainly, but once he’d started to get to know the woman behind the childish petulance…
And the title she sported.
How close would he have to get to have her?
As her hand slipped into the pouch at his side, he was none the wiser. After all, nobody had ever tried to rob Elias. He certainly would not expect this action of a princess. But then, once he figures that out… Well, he’ll enjoy her even more, won’t he?
She asked about rumors, stepped closer, and he chuckled softly, straightening slightly. “Well… for one, you’ve been seen holding hands with a man, your secret lover… But then, rumors are just that, hm, lies told to amuse the people who have no entertainment in their lives.”
She stated that there was ‘something about him’, as he let her go and he chuckled. She seemed to be having doubts about leaving his company, and he shook his head. “If the Princess wishes more rumors, then, please… by all means, show me your world.”
He’d certainly set her up for even more rumors.

Athanasia was pinned, she knew that if she really and truly needed to escape him she would be able too, but for some reason she didn't try that hard just yet. She would hear what he had to say, that was all. So focused on his touch, it felt almost like a hot brand held her the longer she stayed still. This would be a test of wills now. Who would back down first? She knew that many men have tried to see if they could make her comply, to succumb to their will and charm, this man would be no different. He was so close to her though, close enough to make her want to run even as she found she didn't. Athanasia felt very conflicted and it made her angry. She was angry with herself and at him for making her feel confused with how she thought. His smirk had butterflies flutter in her stomache, making her wonder if she was getting sick or something. What is wrong with her?!
When she commented on not letting a man tell her what to dress in or how, his smirk disappeared as he lifted her chin up. Elias spoke on getting reactions, and the color she chose offending him, he called her beautiful. Athanasia was used to being called beautiful, but this was different. She didn't know if she should run or not as she watched his smile return as his hazel eyes reminded her of the deep parts of the forest, some of her favorite places to explore and run. For a moment, she got lost in his eyes almost as easily as she finds her freedom running between the trees. His voice almost sounded like it was to far away, like a whispered dream as he spoke of insults being more than just insults. It wasn't until the feeling of warmth against the corner of her mouth had Athanasia jolt in surprise as she jerked her head back from him, her eyes wide and unsure even as her mouth was set in a the hard line of annoyance. She hated how she could feel the heat in her cheeks as she held back from punching him in the jaw. So far. '...you've certainly picked up on that, like the smart girl you are.' Asia's next words were biting as she called him a malaka, a distraction as she stole whatever was in his pocketbag. She would show him and his ego that she was not something to be played with. As he responded, his chuckle did that funny thing to her stomach again, earning him a glare. "I bet you would hate every minute of it."
In truth, the thought of Elias following her through the woods amused Asia on a deeper level, not only would he be possibly lost without her but also she could have the fun of watching him stumble around while he finally gets his hands dirty. Athanasia would have shoved him away from her by this point but her goal was not reached yet as he seemed to fill her space with just how close he was. Asia was sure he was just some pretty boy who thought he could push her around. Ok, let's see how this would go. It was a new game that Athanasia was looking forward to playing. Now that she was focused, Athanasia noticed something as she looked at the hand that held her. His ring; it had an ankor on it. Looking back up at him Asia tilted her head slightly to the side and smiled as she grabbed the rock and listened to what rumors that he supposedly heard about them. It was then she issued her challenge. A dare to see if he was brave enough to follow her, and he took the bait. "Rumors would only happen if you can keep up with me, Anchor boy. You know, Anchors are meant for boats and the sea while bears are at home in the forests.."
With that, she gave him a sweet smile before skipped off with Achilles as her laugh echoed like a taunt through the air. She was going to have fun with this. Let's see if he can keep up.
-FF, enough time for both to get changed if desired and puppy being watched-
Athanasia stood there at the very edge of the forests, she wore her usual green tunic chiton to blend in with her surroundings. It was shorter like the men like to wear and her feet had just simple sandles on. Hair pulled back in a low ponytail, her bow and quiver full of arrows on her back, and her dagger on her hip. Athanasia was ready to go. She hid the rock away that she stole in the same place she would hide her dagger when she wasn't allowed to wear it. So if he discovered that it was missing, he would never be able to find it now without her help.

Athanasia was ready to go. She hid the rock away that she stole in the same place she would hide her dagger when she wasn't allowed to wear it. So if he discovered that it was missing, he would never be able to find it now without her help.
The sense of power that Elias felt as he pinned Athanasia in place was thrilling. It was like a rush of adrenaline that he was not expecting, a high he would constantly chase. It was something he had never felt before, even in all of his womanizing days. It was this woman, this princess. There was something about her, and he needed to have her. It wasn’t every day that Elias questioned that he might be in love, or perhaps it was like with Niobe and it was an obsession. But whatever it was, he wanted to continue. He never wanted it to end. Where he held her, the skin of his hand felt hot, and he was certain that his heart was throbbing in his ears and she could hear it. He kept his breathing even through sheer willpower alone; he wanted to see who would back down first. Would she back down, or would he? It was a battle of wills.
He had heard from his mistress that many men had tried to take Athanasia for themselves, and they had failed. She was strong-willed; she was fiery, and he liked that. He enjoyed seeing that he caused her to have a reaction, and he wondered how many men had managed to do that. There was something satisfying about potentially being the first man to get a reaction from Athanasia.
She did not try to pull away, and as he complemented her to be beautiful despite the disgusting color of which she wore, she seemed to be debating on something. He could see it in her eyes. A fear, curiosity, she was thinking of whether to run. They locked their eyes for a moment; she seemed like she was forgetting where she was. He did not have that joy because he had to remain composed. As composed as one could be one pending a princess by her wrist to oneself, but still composure was something that Elias could not afford to let breakdown.
She jolted in surprise as he pressed a kiss to the corner of her cheek. He had just brushed her lips, her eyes were wide, and she was unsure; her mouth was set hard line. He wondered if he had gone too far. It was the first sign of, perhaps the word is discussed, that she had shown since he had reached out to grab her. He wondered just how far she had gone with men, and her words were biting as she insulted him and he chuckled. He did not notice when her hand slipped into his pouch and remove something very dear to him.
She stated that he would hate every minute of being in her world, in the wilderness that she so enjoyed, and he believed her. He believed her with all of his being. After all, Elias was not known for going into the woods other than the hunt and even then the hunting was regulated on almost set up to be easy to do. He was spoiled; he did not work for what he wanted, he simply took the things he wanted. That was how things were for him. He was born in the such privilege that he could afford to take what he wanted without thought for others, and he did not think far beyond what is it that Elias wants.
She seemed amused, though. Her eyes lit up, and he could only imagine what was going on inside of her head. He continued to fill her space, and he chuckled again. He was so amused that she was allowing him stay so close to him. She seemed to prefer her personal space, yet here they were with very little between them. Perhaps she was playing the game, too. Now that was a fascinating thought. If she could play the game as well as he could play the game… Then what did that mean?
Someone who could play the game as well as Elias, the womanizer, who had women falling over to get into bed with him. What would that mean for him? He was not just a pretty boy, and he could push her around it because even though he was below her in status, he was also above her because of his gender alone.
There was nobody here to question the gender norms; save for Athanasia herself, nobody here to make him question gender norms, save for the princess herself. And while he did not believe in the gender inequalities of the world, he understood they existed for a reason. Everything existed for a reason and was colored that Elias was. He could identify many reasons for the inequalities of the world. And this is not even the only inequality in the world. There were others, such as slavery.
Her eyes wandered to the ring on his hand. The family’s symbol, the anchor that identified Elias as a sailor. She smiled, and then she issued a challenge.
Elias was starting to wonder perhaps she was not inequitable to him, perhaps she was an equal. And the thought burned in his mind, that she might be his equal, and he couldn't help but smirk... “Well, princess, if you truly believe that anchors are meant for boats in the sea and bears for their home in the forest… Perhaps you take me to the forest, and I take you sailing one day. We’ll see how you do on the water.”
It was a threat, it was a challenge. He wanted to see if she could do it—if she could make him uncomfortable. Even if he wound up embarrassing himself, it will be worth it because there was the chance that he could garner some form of attention from this girl, who was thus far great at hiding how she felt in situations with him. It was something he was not used to.
The sweet smile that she gave him before she skipped off with the dog at her heels made him chuckle, and he was quick to follow. For the moment, he was like a whipped puppy on a leash. He would follow Athanasia, even if it made him anxious to consider what might happen in the forest.
Fast Forward: To the Forest
The very edge of the forest came into view: the greens, the browns, the scents of the forest assaulted his nose. He was not familiar with the forest, but she was. He knew that. They had changed. There was no sense in ruining perfectly good clothing in the forest on a track, trying to impress a girl.
The fact that he was trying to impress a girl was something to reflect upon later, for it was not in his personality to actually impress but to charm and woo and then leave.
Her hair was pulled back in a low ponytail, and she had a bow and a quiver full of arrows on her back, in a dagger on her hip. She was ready to go. And as she came into view against the stark beauty of the forest, he had to pause and study her. She was so different, yet no different from the day they had met. But this time she was in the world she loved. And he was the one out of place.
“Athanasia,” he greeted as he came up to her side. His own bow and arrow were flung over one shoulder. He was not going to show up to the forest without some form of weapons, and even though we had had to borrow these weapons, they would do. “Are you ready?” His voice was quiet, it almost felt strange to speak so close to the forest. He was not certain whether to be quiet or not. And he would look to her for instructions, as this was her domain.

Athanasia could see clearly that Elias was intrigued by her even as he gave the air that he had thought her conquerable as he held her in place even as she challenged him to follow her in the woods. He didn't realize that she could very well hurt him and pin him on the ground if she so chose too with a well placed fist, or even a kick to the back of a knee. It made her smile, almost smug-like when he challenged her back with sailing. Did he think that she was unfamiliar with water? Didn't he know that all bears could swim and fish almost better than any man could? Raising her chin as she looked up at him, defiant in every way possible, her smile grew before she spoke. "Well, that does sound like a fair challenge. Let's see if you can keep up with me on land before we find out just how much better I am than you in the water as well. Shall we?"
Slipping free from his grip Athanasia smiled when she could hear Elias following after her, making her giggle as he reminded her of Achilles, the very same puppy that he gave her two days prior. Just like the young canine, Athanasia would bring this man who thought he could bully his way into her space and claim her, to heel.
-Fast Forward to the forest-
Athanasia grinned when she saw Elias walk up, noting that he had changed as well, she was surprised to see that he had a bow. She did not expect that he would know how to do anything besides possibly swinging a blade at a bush or something like that. She noticed that he seemed to study her almost as much as she studied him and for a moment she wondered just what he was thinking. Most always seemed offended that she dared to dress as a man and use weapons and for a moment her chin lifted in almost a silent dare for him to say anything along those lines.
She knew he would eagerly tell her just how much he hated something that she had on without any remorse or hesitation to the thought of coming across as rude. It did surprise her when all he did was greet her, asking if she was ready, to which she gave a nod in answer. "I am, but are you? I never thought you would know how to use a bow." As he stood beside her, her head tilted back slightly to meet his gaze. How quiet he was being was a good thing when one wanted to avoid bears and boars, but now she had to ask him before they continued. "Do you know how to climb a tree?" This was important to know in case they ran into any boars. "I ask for safety, because if you don't we will stick close to the rocky crags to avoid the boars. Trust me when I say, you don't want them to get you. Ares picked well when he picked those cantankerous beasts as his." Athanasia's leg hurt in memory at the thought. "If we find bears..."
Stopping before she finished, Athanasia looked up at Elias and then at the wood, wondering just where she could take him so that he wouldn't somehow kill himself or her while showing him. Her lips pursed in thought before she let out a sigh and shook her head, most of the places she knew would get him killed if he doesn't know what he is doing and by the look of him, Asia would say that he didn't. "Damn." Fuck. It was all she could say at that moment as she thought about where they could go, there were two places, and she wasn't sure she wanted to show him those places.
They weren't far apart from each other, one being a stream that she often fished in and also hunted some game that came to drink. It was also easier to avoid the bears, though the did know how to swim but they usually went for easier targets, boars just didn't care to swim unless it was too cool off. There was also around her cave that she hid her wine in, the same cave that she and Aea got to know each other in. It was well hidden so it was rare to worry about anything around the area. Both were very personal to Athanasia and it made her hesitate. Looking back over at Elias, she let out a sigh before making up her mind. A challenge was a challenge after all, and Ares help him if he tries anything funny with her. "You can show me your hunting skills around the water. Since you say you are so good on the water, if we come across any danger, you should be able to at least swim. Right? I will not be blamed if you die out here because you tried to do something stupid that you could not actually do." Athanasia paused as she eyed him. She absolutely refused to be accused or blamed for this man's death if he somehow tried to do something he couldn't and ended up dying by his own stupidity.
Finally ready to go, this time Athanasia wrapped her fingers around his wrist and pulled him behind her as they now made their way into the forest. It was quiet as the trees surrounded them, the birds fluttering and singing above them while the wind made the tree branches dance and sway gently. This was home to her when she was not home. Taking a deep breath as she let go of Elias' arm, she turned and truly smiled at him as she walked backwards. "This will be a hike, but I am sure you will love the place I am going to take you."
-2 hours later-
Athanasia was having the time of her life as she skipped ahead and chattered with Elias, grinning as she saw the sweat drip down his brow. "Tired? We are almost there. I did warn you this would be a hike." She was outright giggling now, it wouldn't be long now and knew that he should hear the sound of the waterfall growing in the distance as they got closer. It wasn't a big one and Asia had jumped from it many times into the water below, but it was cool and clean without many predators nearby. It seemed like most did not care for the loud noise of it, but the smaller prey stuck around not too far away. Her hidden cave was an hour's walk from the water, so if they had to hide, there was a place not too far. The water was much louder now, making her smile as she wondered just how she could mess with him. "Ready to hike for another four hours?" She looked innocent even as she knew they were there, but it would be funny for her to watch him panic a little while possibly regretting following her challenge.

Elias smirked as she mentioned the bow. “Well, you know I often hunt, as many nobles do. The bow and arrow are my preference, though I am skilled with a sword as well.” He wasn’t a fighter, by any means. But hunting was not fighting. He had ensured Niobe was trained as a bodyguard (albeit this was not obvious) so that he could worry less about getting into fights. It might humiliate other members of the nobility to be protected by a woman, but Niobe rarely had to use a sword to protect her master. Her wit, her charm, her body–she served Elias with all of those things.
“Mm, I am familiar with climbing trees. Though I do not have much experience with boars,” he stated honestly. “A boar’s tusk can kill you,” he stated solemnly. He’d seen men return from hunts torn to pieces by a boar. However, all of Elias’s hunts were in larger crowds, managed by others to ensure his safety over theirs.
Fascinating creatures.
Elias studied the young princess. His lips curled gently. “I’m not used to such rough terrain, Princess, and most of my hunts are in large parties or at sea, but,” he reached to catch her chin, so that he could turn her to face him. “I suppose if I am to die eventually,” he leaned to whisper in her ear, “then it would be a great honor to die seeing the world you so enjoy.”
He released her and studied her quietly. She seemed to be contemplating something, and from the manner she kept glancing over to him, she was quite certain it was about to do with his safety. “I’m truly touched by how little you think of me, Asia,” he purred her name, smirking. “But the water would be where I am most comfortable, yes.” He does not answer whether he can swim, because while he knows he can, she is seriously underestimating him and it amuses him to no end.
She seemed to finally be ready to leave, and her fingers curled around his wrist. “What a forward move, princess,” he crooned, as she led him into the forest. The young woman was certainly something else–and for the moment he fought back instincts that had him wanting to pull her against him, or to pin her against a nearby tree.
See how far she’d let him go…
He’d have to try that later.
2 Hours Later -
Athanasia certainly knew how to pick a hike. She claimed that Elias was going to enjoy the place that she was taking him to. However, he was more curious about if he would enjoy the act of reaching whatever destination they were going to just sit down. His feet hurt. Typically, he was on a horse.
They reached a beautiful spot where he could hear the burbling of a waterfall, and he wanted nothing more than to get into the water and go for a swim. However, she turned around and instead she asked if he was ready to hike for another four hours. He grimaced and moved to drop his bow, reaching to grab her wrist.
He was holding her in place, if she’d let him. And as he spun her around to fully face him, he shook his head. “If you make me hike another four hours, you can leave me there to die, Hades can have me.” He muttered, nodding to the water.
“Why don’t we go for a swim, princess? Unless you have a better idea of something for us to do in this wilderness…?” He winked suggestively. This would be his first time in a forest, that much was true.

When Elias admitted that his preference was archery but was skilled with a sword as well, Athanasia admitted that she was impressed. He didn't look like he did much of anything on his own, let alone have the patience for a bow. She had compared him to most of the men she knew, which were more often soldiers than not, so she wasn't used to seeing slim muscles like hers on very many men. Now that she thought about it, she wondered if that was something that drew her in since big muscles just make her think of her brothers. Athanasia was almost tempted to test out that theory, but really did not want to actually find out that answer.
As the topic turned to boars and climbing, Asia did nod when he commented that he could climb and that he knew that a boar could kill a person. "Yeah, they really are sharp. It was how I got the scar on my leg." She was wearing the shorter men's tunics chiton, so the scar was easy to see since she wasn't wearing boots to cover her calves. To show him, she kicked out her left leg halfheartedly just to show which one that the coil of twisted pale skin wrapped around. For the first time, Athanasia felt a little self conscious at the scars that she had decorating her skin. She was distracted as she tried to think of where she could take him that wouldn't have him end up dying and his comment about hunting in large parties that were not on rough terrain, it did not help matters.
She wasn't paying attention to his hands, or expecting her chin being grabbed to make her look at him, that for a moment she almost instinctively hit him. She was so distracted by him dying that she didn't even notice him move, and that had her looking up at him with wide eyes, unable to move. He had caught her, as if she were a rabbit in a trap and he was a fox. She didn't move as he stepped closer and whispered in her ear about it being an honor to die seeing the world she enjoyed. What man ever wanted to see what she liked before? Asia could feel her cheeks heat up right before he let her go. There were two places that came to mind that she thought to show him, the risks much smaller even as she asked him about swimming.
It wasn't until he called her Asia that her eyes met his and the worry melted. He called her Asia, she never told him he could, and strangely she didn't like it. The thought had her frowning, since usually she did not mind the nickname, but for some reason she did not like him saying it. "Don't call me that. I don't like how it sounds when you say it." Athanasia didn't clarify, she didn't plan too since she was completely embarrassed as it was. Finally deciding on where to go, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the forest. His comment though on being forward had her drop his wrist, quick and instinctive, she hit him in the chest with a small fist as she snorted a laugh and shook her head. She knew it wouldn't hurt, it was the same hit that she would often hit her brothers with, though with them it was often much harder. "I don't know what is worse, your flirting or your teasing."
---2 hours later---
Athanasia was smug as she lead the way, she was practically skipping even though the air was hot and muggy within the dense forest, but she was used to it. She would sneak glances over at Elias as she chattered about random things that they found. The waterfall was one of her favorite spots, about 10 feet high, it was fun to jump into the water below from there. Sometimes, when the light was just right, Iris would show off one of her rainbows within the mists of the falling water. It always made Athanasia's day that much better.
They were almost there when she dared look back to tease Elias about hiking another 4 hours, laughing when she watched as he grimaced and dropped his bow to the ground. She didn't know he would grab her again though she didn't fight it when he turned her to face him while shaking his head. She couldn't help it, she was already fighting a smile, but when Elias commented on leaving him to die; Athanasia threw her head back and laughed. She could not help it since she was messing with him to start and here he spoke of letting Hades have him. "Now why would I let Hades have you when I am having so much fun teasing you and making you think we were walking for another four hours?"
When he suggested swimming, Asia was about to agree, but then he added on the rest of it with the wink at the end. Seeing the wink had Athanasia openly rolling her eyes, not even hiding it before she gave him a very bland look. "Well, I was going to tell you what I was planning, but now I won't. Also, the wink? Too much. Way too much." Pulling back and out of his hold, Asia moved to the edge of the cliffside to look down at the ground down below. Things were clear and thankfully it looked like no one had found her rope and basket as she pulled it up to meet her at the edge. It was quite a drop to the ground down below and she never liked just throwing her stuff and hoping it did not break. "If you want, you can put your stuff in here with mine, you do not have to though. You can always take the long way down." She left it at that, putting her bow and quiver in carefully. Taking off her sandals, she placed them in the basket as well. She kept her dagger strapped to her side like always, but she waited to see if Elias would add his things before she lowered the basket down to the ground below them. Once everything was safe, she got up and walked along the cliff's edge without even looking to see if Elias was following her or not. She could hear him though, somehow acutely aware of him since he seemed to keep touching her. The waterfall was now just steps away before she finally dared to look back at him over her shoulder. This was her sanctuary, her hideaway from the world when things became too chaotic, and she wanted to share that with him. Would he even like this?
Taking a step up on a damp rock, Athanasia turned and met his gaze, her uncertainty now clear as she looked at him. Taking a deep breath, Asia was spinning her ring on her finger, she was nervous. "This is the place I was going to show you. It, and one other, are my little spots that no one knows about. I have one friend who knows about the other, but she and I met in a rainstorm, so that was kinda fate. This.." she almost said that it wasn't fate, since she brought him there willingly, but at the same time she doubted the words before she could say it. Taking a step back, she moved closer to the edge as she kept her eyes on him, only daring to glance behind her at the water below for a moment before looking back at him and smiling. It was clear and the water was high, everything was just how it should be. "To answer your last question, I am honestly not sure what you could possibly think would be better to do than this. It is not every day that one can fly." It was her last words at that moment as Athanasia jumped backwards. Her back arched perfectly as she seemed to float down to the water in a graceful backwards dive, her hands breaking the surface as she sunk into the cold water. The waterfall made the sounds loud under the surface as she held her breath, swimming with ease out towards the shore again before resurfacing. Looking up, she wondered just what Elias thought of what she did. Would he join her? Or would he yell at her for her daring move?

Looking up, she wondered just what Elias thought of what she did. Would he join her? Or would he yell at her for her daring move?
Elias enjoyed archery, and while he was trained with a sword, he was not up-to-par like military men were expected to be. His muscles were slim, not overly noticeable, and he preferred it that way. So did many of the women he bedded—he was no stranger to the fact he was a very pretty male. The gaggle of women that normally followed at his tail just confirmed that, any time he began to doubt himself. (Hah, as if Elias has doubts about his beauty.)
He raised his eyebrows as she casually mentioned a scar, presenting her left leg to him. She kicked her leg out, showing which leg the scar was on, but her clothing did little to hide the scar. Once she was standing properly, he knelt next to her, reaching to trail his fingers across the scar, not too mindful of her personal space.
After all, if she did not like it, then she could kick him in the face, quite easily. “Mmm, must have hurt. How old were you?” He asked, tilting his head back to study her. It was not often that Elias kneeled on the ground, for anyone, but certainly not a woman. Eventually they began to walk again, and for a while there was nothing more afoot than the trek ahead of them.
He eventually settled into step next to her, pausing as she did. After a moment of studying her, he was cupping her chin in his hand with a smirk. Her eyes were so wide, he had certainly caught her off guard, and he could not hide the smirk that crossed his lips. Oh, so smug. And the way her cheeks flushed left him with a satisfied smile, as he released her.
She became defensive as he shortened her name, and he chuckled, raising his hands. “It’s not often a woman tells me she doesn’t like how I say something. Pray tell, what about ‘Asia’ sounds wrong when I say it?” He inquired; voice smooth. He was reminded of a child, being dragged through the market by an upset mother as they caused trouble, by the way she grabbed his wrist and pulled him along by his wrist.
His own mother had never bothered, not that he could remember, though he had been a fairly well-minded child with very little need to be forcibly dragged along. He had always been a well-minded child, until his father decided that he needed to become a Stravos—to start working in the family business. And… from that point on, he learned that life was never fairer to those with less, and that as someone with more it was his job to take what he needed for himself and continue his way up the ladder.
He focused on her again, as she refused to clarify why she disliked her nickname from his mouth. Interesting, he would need to explore that later. She was quick to hit him in the chest, and he chuckled softly. The sound would unnerve most, though he was clearly amused. “Perhaps I need to work on my flirting, Athanasia. Do give me tips, if you care too.” He smirked at her, clearly searching for more ways to unravel the threads that held this princess together.
And oh, just like he had learned from his father, he’d take what he wanted, he’d get what he needed. And if he could not have Persephone, then perhaps this princess would do well enough. Of course, the more he looked at Athanasia, the more he could pick the similarities and the differences between Persephone and this girl out… but yet, she was similar enough, and intriguing enough, that he wanted her.
One princess was as good as the next, you see, when it came to acquiring a crown.
For two more hours they walked, until finally she was skipping—and he decided this must mean the end of the line had been reached. For someone who was lazy, physical activity such as this was not his idea of fun… there were far more interesting ways to be physical. The things one did to impress a girl, though.
And impress her, he needed too. She wasn’t as easy of a sell as the girls in Athenia, who swooned when he spoke to them. Or the poor girls on the streets who saw him as a chance to get a bastard child and a paycheck to keep a secret. Ah, yes, his child was cared for even though he had no idea what their name was, or their gender, or anything more. The agreement on that had been clear: no letters, he’d send her money, she’d keep his secrets and his child safe.
And he had Niobe personally deliver those payments to ensure they reached the woman, and that she was reminded of who she was dealing with, for Niobe was his most imposing weapon when she wished to be.
He was proud of how Niobe had turned out, from the sobbing mess of bruises and malnourished skin and bones to the beautiful young creature that could coax a man out of his clothes, and then coax his secrets from him with ease. He had trained her well, and she seemed to enjoy serving him—though, he supposed, if he had been a slave that was purchased, treated well, and then released… it would make sense to stay near the hand that had treated you well.
But of course, he knew that. There was a reason he had been so kind to Niobe after finding and buying her. He’d wanted her to stay; to better herself, to become someone he could rely on without fail. As he thought about his spymistress, he caught Athanasia’s glances, though he pretended he had not, as if he were lost in the world around them.
She showed him things, talked excitedly about those things, and he smiled and nodded, offering idle conversation where it was appropriate. She was not the most gorgeous girl in the world—certainly she was not Persephone—but she was beautiful, in her own right. Her personality shone, not that he really cared an inkling about that. He only needed her for her title.
Eventually, she was informing him that it would be another four hours and that he would have to walk it. As he proclaimed that Hades could have him, he caught the amusement in her eyes. Lovely eyes, at that, and immediately he was focused from his thoughts to her. He’d inform Niobe that he wanted this one, later.
They’d make a plan and put it into motion.
He just had to make sure not to piss her off any further than he’d already managed too.
“And you said my teasing was bad, Athanasia,” he purred, finding that her laughter was nice, perhaps her difference to Persephone would prove to be for the best. He suggested they swim and rolled his eyes as she pulled out of his hold, forcing a bland, unamused look upon him.
Ah, he’d fumbled.
“Too much, huh?” He shook his head, and wondered what made her tick… what went on inside that pretty little head?
She was moving to the edge of the cliffside, and he eyed her, cautiously. She was quite near the edge and there was part of him that was unnerved—no, not a fear of heights, but rather, of being the last one seen with a princess that wound up deceased.
That wouldn’t be good for him, or his already poor reputation among the Athenian nobles.
It would not be good for his quest to take the throne.
Eventually he realized she was pulling a rope up, with a basket attached on the other end, and watched as she deposited items that she cared about into the basket. He was quick to do the same, choosing to leave his sandals in the basket, as well as whatever was in his pockets.
And… he paused, because there was a palm-sized piece of obsidian missing. A rock that he was never, ever without. He furrowed his brow and shook his head, convincing himself he had left it back in his quarters.
As she lowered the basket back to the ground, he waited to see what they were doing. She walked the edge of the cliff, and he walked behind of her, prepared to grab her if she fell—he was not about to go down for her death, if she died because she was being stupid. He believed her to be a very bright, intelligent girl but…
This did not seem very safe.
She finally reached her destination, the waterfall, and for a moment he was lost in the haze of the falling water, distracted. The next time he glanced at her, she had stepped onto a damp rock, standing taller than he was, and he tilted his head back to look at her.
She explained what this spot meant to her, and he found himself really listening. Because she was showing him something no woman had ever cared enough (or perhaps he had not cared enough to see) to show to him. And it was fascinating.
Athanasia took a step back, and he took a step forward, instinctively. She was speaking to him, and he pondered her words—and then, she had jumped. Simply fallen back from the rock, tumbling through the air.
He stepped up onto the rock she had just vacated, watching. A quick glance to the water confirmed it was deep enough to keep her from getting hurt, and he chuckled softly to himself. “Such a daring girl, this one is. Persephone would have never done something like this.” Though he found himself wondering if the Persephone he had known was the same as the one he saw at all of the meetings.
How much had she changed?
Had she changed as much as he had?
Before he could become too lost down a rabbit hole of memories, he stepped off of the cliffside, as well. Holding his breath, he could not stop a holler as he fell, for the moment, for a brief second—there was a glimpse of who Elias had been, before the family business had sank its claws into him.
He hit the water and stayed under, composing himself as he rose to the surface. “You’re crazy, Athanasia!” He called, over the roar of the waterfall. “Absolutely, utterly, insane!”

He hit the water and stayed under, composing himself as he rose to the surface. “You’re crazy, Athanasia!” He called, over the roar of the waterfall. “Absolutely, utterly, insane!”
As they spoke of the boar, Asia kicked out her leg that had the twisted looking vine of a scar that went from her ankle and hugged her calf as it twisted around till it stopped just below her knee. It was one of the few scars she had, but that one was the biggest. She expected the subject to drop and had turned enough away that she did not expect to feel a touch on her bare calf as it traced her scar. The move had her turning to face him quickly, her eyes wide as she looked down at him now kneeling as he looked at her leg. Should she kick him? Why was he kneeling to look at her leg? It was an old wound, not fresh and bleeding, so there was no need to look or touch. Watching as he titled his head to look at her, she almost missed his question, she was ready to say screw it and leave him here. The nervous fear clear in her eyes as she fought to answer him. "I-I would say I was around sixteen or so." Turning so quickly from him, she moved at a clipped speed through the woods.
It wasn't long till they stopped, Athanasia did not like her reactions to him after he held her chin, always in her personal space. Always talking in that low voice that made her get goosebumps. So when laughed at her telling him not to call her Asia, she glared at him. "I don't like it. Simple as that." How would someone explain that she liked how her name sounded when he said it? She would never tell him, she would die with that secret. So they continued their path, with Asia dragging him along. That was until he teased her about holding his hand, calling her forward. It was comments like that that made her want to hit him with another peach.
She had hit him in the chest, earning another laugh from him, something she wasn't exactly expecting since anyone that wasn't her brothers always got so offended when she hit them. "I don't know anything about flirting. I guess, my only suggestion would be to stop trying to flirt." Now she grinned, as she told him that, knowing that things would be much easier for her if he did. His flirting made her feel funny and she wasn't sure if she liked it. When he was relaxed, angry, annoyed, or even amused, she could handle him much better. Handle how she reacted. When he was flirting, it was something she was not familiar with other than she avoided those that did it. Add in his need to invade her space, she didn't know if she wanted to hit him or see what happens next.
For the two hours they walked and talked about nomial things, till she started teasing him about walking for another four hours. His response about leaving him to die had Asia laughing as she teased him some more, even admitting that she was joking about the four more hours. It was moments like this that she liked talking with him, enjoyed the time even. She was like a moth to a candle in these moments, having fun with him. Shying away when he turned the heat up. So when he joked about her teasing, Athanasia's smile grew as she giggled along. He was fun to tease. It was only when he winked at her that things went cold, fast. "Yes. Way too much"
Now was going to be the fun part as she put everything in the basket. She never saw how he seemed almost protective of her as she got near the cliff's edge. She was so used to it from her brothers that she never expects anything similar from anyone else. She waited for him to put everything in the basket, biting her lower lip to keep from smiling when he paused as he seemed to search through his pockets for something. Her face showed nothing else as he shook his head and she lowered the basket to safety.
As they made their way to the edge of the waterfall, Asia turned and gave him a smile when she saw the fascination in his eyes as he looked over everything from the waterfall's edge. She admitted that no one ever saw these places, that she shared it with him and him alone at that point. Now was her more daring challenge to him as she asked him what was greater than flying, and then, she flew. A backwards dive into the water before swimming off to the side. She could hear the splash as she turned, and laughed when Elias came sputtering up for air as he yelled at her that she was crazy. "Yeah? You have to admit that you had fun though!" Swimming around now before she turned to float on her back as she stared up at the sky. "What is something you like to do for fun? I know your favorite places to visit, but what do you like to do?" The water muffled her own voice, so to make sure she heard him, she stopped floating so she could look right at him and the water didn't drown out anything else.

Elias tilted his head back, watching the way her eyes had widened. She was thinking, probably, that she might need to kick him, but as he studied her, he wondered what it might be like to have her force him to kneel before her. For it to be an order… not a choice. Dark eyes wandered over her form, thinking about all the reasons he might be made to kneel before her. And none of those reasons were… chaste thoughts. She was nervous, and as she gave him an age, she turned and left him by himself. On the ground.
He chuckled softly, giving her a head start. If only she’d stop running from what he promised her, if only she’d stop playing so hard to get. But then, if she let him have her… she would not be quite as much fun, would she? He smirked, as he stood, straightening the fabrics of his clothing, as he walked after her. His pace was leisurely compared to her own.
She’d cut him off, implying she did not like hearing the nickname from him, and he sighed. “As you wish, Princess.” The way he crooned her title would have made most women melt, and he wanted to see how she reacted; though he was hopeful that she’d not fit his expectations. Force him to piece together the puzzle that was her mind…
A fascinating specimen, really.
And then she declared that he should quit flirting, and he raised his eyebrows. “Aw, and miss your reactions, Princess? Now, that would be unfortunate. You’re so…” He leaned to whisper in her ear, “…so easy, to rile up darling.” He liked seeing the effect his words had on her, the way she reacted; shying away from her own emotions.
Just call Elias a puppet master, because one way or another, he’d pull enough strings to have what he wanted.
He’d winked at her, up until then she had been laughing, leaning into him as they teased and joked, and then she was cold. He kept his irritation off his features, as he watched her. It seemed that this Princess did not enjoy intimacy—perhaps she simply had no idea how fun being intimate could be… And then she’d jumped from the clifftop, and he had followed, only after assuring himself that she had not died.
And there the laughing girl was again, at ease and completely in his grasp. It was strange to him, to temper the charm that he often oozed. It seemed to scare her off. The pattern was clearer now, and he grinned, “I’ve not had this much fun in a long, long time, Athanasia. Thank you for reminding me there is more to existence than the Senate, or the family business.” He meant the words, he was thinking back to Niobe, how she had needed to be handled differently than the women that tossed themselves at him…
And now, Niobe was in so deep, she’d probably never get out.
As he treaded water, he studied their surroundings; it was truly beautiful here, he could understand why she enjoyed coming out to the water. She was asking what he did for fun, and he pursed his lips. “I’m a Senator, Athanasia. I help my father with his business. I learned a long time ago, you cannot have fun and still earn power.”
It was an honest statement. He moved closer to her. “Come to Athenia and show me how to have fun. I’ll take you to the forests of Aetaea, or the fields of Arcasis… perhaps a hunt or… something.” He murmured.

Athanasia had no idea on how to handle this man before her, on his knees before her. If she did kick him, it would be very hard for him to dodge it, though something held her back. Was it the way he looked at her? Was it how he seemed almost innocent when he looked at the scar on her leg? Meeting Elias' eyes as he looked up at her, suddenly she could see his eyes start to trail over the rest of her, and it almost felt like his own gaze became a physical thing and she could feel everywhere his gaze landed. It was enough to make her turn and leave at a clipped pace to put as much distance between them for a moment, hiding her red cheeks as she almost became tempted to run from him.
Why was Elias so damn touchy feely? It seemed like he always found some excuse to touch her or flirt with her. Did he not know how to read people or understand personal space? With Asia's luck, he was one of those men that always had some woman warming his bed and was used to the women around his home just giving him whatever he wanted. If that was the case, maybe it would be safer to just cut all ties and never speak to him again? He was very handsome, and Asia had fun talking with Elias when he wasn't being so flirty, but was that enough to just say goodbye and never speak to him again?
When Elias called Athanasia by her nickname, a shiver went up her spine in a way that she did not like at all. It creeped her out when he called her by her nickname, it did not feel right. Usually Asia did not mind it, but with his voice, she really liked hearing Elias say her full name. Something about it, the low rumble of his voice, seemed to almost caress her name. 'Athanasia.' She didn't shy away from it either, not like she did when he tried to sneak in actual touches as he invaded her personal space. After telling him again to call her by her full name, Elias' sigh earned him an arched brow look as Asia wondered what was wrong now. She soon found out as he drew out her title, making it almost feel like something slimy, earning him a sigh as well as she rolled her eyes. This man. Athanasia just could not deal with him sometimes.
She never knew what to expect with Elias. One moment he would seem like one of those men from the senate, always seemingly trying to get her favor somehow. The next moment, he seemed very genuine and real. She liked that side of him. Athanasia even hinted at such when she told him to stop with all the over the top flirting, his response making her huff a laugh. "My reactions? You mean my ire? Or the temptation to hit you?" Asia ignored his 'darling' nickname, biting her lip to keep any responses at bay as they made their way to the lake.
There was freedom in jumping off of the cliffside, the feeling of being weightless before the rush of cold water surrounds her. It was one of the few places that Athanasia felt like she could do anything in the world and that she had no rules to follow. She was surprised when Elias actually followed her, half expecting that he would have taken the long way down without ever taking that jump. So when he called her crazy, she just could not help but laugh. This was the Elias that seemed more real and honest to her, the one that she could feel at ease around. So when Asia commented on Elias having fun, his response made her smile. "Well, I am glad that you are having fun. That was the goal today as well as share a little bit of my favorite places. A friendly gesture towards becoming friends. You know? I mean, you told me your favorite spots in Athenia, so it seemed like a fair trade."
Ducking into the water, Asia lowered till the water was just under her nose as she tried to hide her pink cheeks from feeling bashful at sharing something with him like this. Three days. Three days of seemingly always being around this man no matter what she ended up doing, it was like the gods seemed to be throwing this man in her way. Trying to change the subject, Asia asked Elias what he liked to do for fun; "I am sure you do more than just work at the senate or with your father. You do not seem like the kind of man who would work all the time without having a moment to just have fun. What is it that you help your father do, if you don't mind me asking?" She loved the moments her father would allow her to help him with something, but sadly it was not as often as she would have liked it to be. She could only imagine what Elias did if it wasn't something he enjoyed. "Power is nice to have and all, the more you have the less people can tell you what to do.. but is that all you do?" The look that she gave him would show Elias that Asia was purely curious as she asked him questions, no judgements shaded her eyes or tone as she wanted to learn more. "I know most would tell me at this point that it is not my place to know more, though I do have the same education that any of my brothers have had. So I am not some ignorant woman who doesn't know anything. I still can understand even if things like 'power' are considered more of a man's game."
Slowly, Asia made her way to the shore as Elias followed and moved closer to her, stopping when her feet touched the bottom. Her arms were getting tired and just wanted to let them float but did not want to stop the conversation. She didn't stop him as Elias moved closer to her either, and she didn't move away, as he asked her to come to Athenia. "You know, that is the second invite that I have gotten in as many days to come to Athenia and visit." Asia smiled up at him, grinning as she let that sink in. "I think it could be fun if you would show me those places one day. I have wanted to see them since you first told me about them. You still never explained why you would show me Arcasis."
